La Crosse commission looking into changing city's parking policy
On Wednesday night, the Neighborhood Revitalization Commission considered eliminating city code that mandates parking spaces. Right now, the city requires property owners to provide a set number of parking spaces for residents or customers. For example, one-family dwellings must include two parking spaces for each dwelling unit. Bowling alleys are required to have five parking spots for every bowling lane.
