Changes to paid parking in one Crystal Coast town are catching the attention of those in eastern North Carolina. NewsChannel 12's Megan Scarano recently reported on the Emerald Isle parking changes, and she was at Tuesday's commissioners' meeting when the topic was discussed. In the meeting, officials said that over the past two weeks, people have spent an average of $5 to $6 on paid parking.
