OIB PIER FISHING 101 classes have been a huge hit for new wanna-be fishermen ages from 5 to 95. “101” is a 2-hour class teaching the basics of fishing and is a wonderful opportunity for quality time with family. All equipment, bait, and instruction are included for a nominal fee. All proceeds go to support the OIB Pier maintenance. The class requires pre-registration.
Check the pier message center for more information about the Fish of the Month Contest. Every month the fisherman with the biggest catch of that month’s species wins $25! Additional fishing tournaments will be launched throughout the year!
