Our grandfather, AL Milliken, started the first oyster shucking house in Brunswick County and our father, Lloyd Milliken, opened Lloyd's Oyster House back in the 60's in Shallotte and runs it to this day. The history of the Milliken family in the seafood business in North Carolina spans for centuries.
