"In the dark world of mediocre burgers, Take a Bite is a bright light of delicious glory.

This place is clean, and the owner was very kind and accommodating to my two young kids.

But a burger joint isn't built on good service and spotless counters. My wife and I got the classic cheeseburger (I admit that I was ambition and got a double meat burger). This was by far the best burger I've had, not only in Conway, but in the entire state. It doesn't need strange toppings and secret sauces. It's a burger that stands by itself needing nothing to give you a delightful burger experience. I should add, the burger is no thin, tiny puck of dry sadness. It was large and juicy with the perfect amount of crust you'd expect from a smashburger. Well seasoned. Generously sized. Cooked perfectly.

Everything about Take a Bite was simple, flavorful, and expertly executed. If you're looking for a great burger in Conway, look no further than this place!"

El Cerro’s story began in October of 1991 here in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Ricardo, Salvador, and Eriberto opened the first El Cerro in the area after noticing the need for family-friendly Mexican cuisine. Their goal was to open a family restaurant that didn’t just serve Mexican food, but gave the Grand Strand community an experience of Mexico.
