This old-school deli has stood the test of time in downtown Myrtle Beach. Opened in 1979, Mr. Sub has seen the streets around it redesigned, cutting it off from mainstream traffic.
Mr. Sub may have a limited menu but there’s no shortage of good choices. Hot and cold subs, like the oven-baked Super Sub with roast beef, ham, turkey and bacon or the Italian with ham, Genoa salami are popular choices. The steak sandwiches and the gyros, featuring a mix of beef, lamb and chicken carved straight from the rotisserie, make the mouth water while waiting for your order.
Somewhat surprisingly, Mr. Sub also serves spaghetti with a side salad, and any sandwich or sub can be converted to a salad for those watching their weight. A couple of other curious but tasty sub selections are the Pizza Sub, the Hamburger Sub and for breakfast fans, the Egg Sub. All sandwiches are served on hoagie rolls and come with chips and a limited number of side items and beverages.

Life has taken me down many paths throughout the years and I am not going to lie and say that I always wanted to be a restaurateur. It was honestly something that never came to mind; however, my move to this beautiful country and the idea of the American dream collided in my brain and Mexico Lindo was born.
Food has always been more than just ingredients put together to create a source of nutrition to me. Food has been a way to show and share love. My childhood memories revolve around family and a kitchen full of pots, a table full of food, the sound of music, laughter and smell of pure deliciousness in the air. This is something I wanted to share, something I wanted everyone to experience. A restaurant made sense. Mexico Lindo is how I could present this experience and be able to share it with everyone.
In 1995, my family and I opened the doors of Mexico Lindo, our second home, an addition to our family, our dream come true!

"If you are traveling on 905 between Conway/Myrtle Beach and Hwy 22 you MUST stop at Papa's Grill and get a classic, home cooked meal. I stop in this diner every weekend on my way to my 2nd job. I have had the bacon, egg, & cheese sandwich, cheeseburger & FF, and today a grilled chicken salad. As you can see from my picture of Salad the chicken is actually grilled. It was delicious! The burgers are hand patted and just like you want a diner burger to taste. I have not had a bad meal here.....ever. This place is run by a great group of super friendly ladies who can get down in the kitchen! And as an added bonus they have perfect sweet tea so I give it 5 stars!" -comment from Heather T.
