Giving Grape seed extract to Chickens: Research, Dosage and Benefits
Grape seed extract (GSE) is a potent antioxidant which is made from the seeds of grapes. It is also one of the best-known sources of proanthocyanidins. Its high antioxidant content is well-known for its benefits associated with disease prevention and protection against oxidative stress, tissue damage, and inflammation. GSE also inhibits the growth of Campylobacter, E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus bacteria and Candida fungi.
Research conducted on the addition of GSE to the diet of chickens have showed positive results for it’s use as a potent antioxidant and immune enhancer when supplemented
