2017 *** "The use of off-label inhaled medication in the intensive care unit is being driven by the paucity of effective options. We stand by our suggestion that physicians use adjunctive nebulized antibiotics to treat VAP..." "Currently there are no approved inhaled antibiotics for inhaled antibiotics to treat hospital-acquired (HAP) and ****ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP). However, sometimes medicines designed for intravenous use are administered through nebulization/inhalation." "In earlier study, antibiotic was given through atomizer, which increases environmental contamination as well as decreases concentrations in the lung." "Currently, inhaled antibiotics are delivered through a ventilator circuit directly to the patient with an expiratory filter to capture the antibiotic droplets. A recent investigation of a proprietary inhaled amikacin found concentrations in ambient air were below detection. There are no other reports of worsening antimicrobial resistance due to inhaled antibiotic therapy"

Fogging a Chicken with Oxine AH - YouTube
Fogging a Chicken with Oxine AH - YouTube
I just wanted to share how we fog our chickens with oxine AH. We use a reptile fogger that we hit on Amazon and use the recommended 6 oz / gallon ratio of oxine to water. I only either use a 1/2 or 1/4 gallon with this fogger. I fog on medium high for about 15 - 20 minuted at a time, maybe 3 times a day. Studies show that Oxine is a very effective killer of viruses and bacteria, so it is used for fungal and respiratory issues most often. I’m using it on Peaches for fowl pox to see how she responds.

Effect of flow rate, humidifier dome and water volume on maximising heated, humidified gas use for neonatal resuscitation - PubMed

We suggest the set-up to achieve optimal temperature and humidity for resuscitation purposes is 10L/min of gas flow, a MR290 humidification chamber, and 30mL of water.

****!!!!***!!!!**** (2014) {Disinfection in room air; or Treatment inside body of person through inhalation. Includes **valuable** study of different ClO2 air concentrations being administered to mice in different timings after being exposed to flu virus.} "chlorine dioxide gas, even at an extremely low concentration of e.g. 0.05 to 0.1 ppm, is capable of deactivating virus or depriving its infectability" " In some of the experiments, however, the introduction of chlorine dioxide gas was effected with delays relative to the introduction of the virus-containing aerosol... to check whether the chlorine dioxide gas can prevent onset of viral disease resulting from the virus which has entered the lungs already."

Can chlorine dioxide prevent the spreading of coronavirus or other viral infections? Medical hypotheses
Can chlorine dioxide prevent the spreading of coronavirus or other viral infections? Medical hypotheses
******!!!!***!!!!*** 2020. {Some statements may need to be verified} "at 20 degrees Celsius y = 0.0316 indicating that in equilibrium 1 cm3 aqueous phase contains (0.0316)-1 = 31.6 times more ClO2 molecules than 1 cm3 gas phase." "Thus, the following formula can be used to calculate the ClO2 concentration of the gas phase being in equilibrium with a ClO2 solution at 20 degrees C: [ClO2]gas in ppm (V/V) = 11.3 x [ClO2]aq in ppm (m/m)" 1) Global prevention approach: Disinfection of air spaces, hard surfaces, and persons simultaneously with airborne aqueous ClO2 solutions. 2) Personal disinfection techniques: Disinfection of the mouth and the upper respiratory track with gargling. [Note: In two lab tests, a chlorine dixode mouth rinse tested directly against SARS-CoV-2 was 98% effective in 30 seconds. This may hold potential in reducing contagion during ventilator-tube insertion.] 3) Disinfection of the lower respiratory track through inhalation of low-level chlorine dioxide.
