The direction was to push past what we had established in terms of his movement style on the first movie, and see how he’d move after being Spidey for a year and a half. All while staying distinctly Miles. There's a little bit of everything in there, from tricking to parkour and some bboy. Harinarayan Rajeev on Instagram: "Life of an Animator :P Life of an Animator 😂 Soo….We wanted to improvise this particular section of the Transit sequence from Transformers ROTB and make it feel more like a brawl than what was there in the previz. Therefore, I decided to choreograph it by myself. The first thing to do was to shoot a video reference or act it out, to figure out the basic choreography. Since we didn't have any mocap or stunt footages available for this particular section of the sequence,this was the first thing to do. I asked my professional pillow fighter bro DICCO, the great 😂 to come to my place on a weekend and help me shoot some reference footage as it was impossible to act out the actions just by myself. We ended up having an intense pillow fight competition instead, ha haa... which turned out to be more fun than I expected…eventhough I almost broke my back in the process 🥴 Maybe we should do it more often! I was not planning to match these actions 1:1 while ani...
