Ein reich bebilderter Vortrag mit Workshop zu Silkes Lebenswerk. ,,Commons als ein soziales Muster zu beschreiben – als »Commoning« – unterscheidet sich von jenen Denkansätzen, in denen es vorwiegend um (Gemein-)Güter und deren Verwaltung geht. Commoning ist eine Notwendigkeit, eine Haltung und eine Ethik, und es stiftet Zufriedenheit. Commoning verkörpert also eine Art zu sein, deren Keimzelle tief in uns Menschen angelegt ist. An uns liegt es, sie zur Entfaltung zu bringen. Wir können uns für Commons-Projekte entscheiden, können uns in Commoning üben und die damit einhergehenden Veränderungen in uns und um uns herum reflektieren. Je bewusster Commoning als Lebensform in der Welt ist, umso besser." (aus Silke Helfrich und David Bollier: Die Welt der Commons - Muster gemeinsamen Handelns) Silke Helfrich, in ihrer Zusammenarbeit mit David Bollier, sah die Gemeinsamkeiten verschiedenartigster, auf Transformation abzielender Projektformen, wie kaum eine Zweite. In ihren Büchern behandelte sie Freie Software-Communities nie getrennt von Umweltaktivismus und schenkte, wie selbstverständlich, die 33 unter ihrer Anleitung entdeckten 'Muster des Commonings' unter einer Creative Commons-Lizenz der Welt. Diese Muster sind wertvolle Werkzeuge, um die Gemeinsamkeiten verschiedenster Projekte herauszustellen, aber auch, um diese Projekte immer fairer, freier und lebendiger gestalten zu können. Der Vortrag entstand in gemeinsamer Arbeit mit Silke, ein halbes Jahr vor ihrem plötzlich Unglück im November '21. Im Vortrag wird versucht, ihre Herangehensweise möglichst visuell und greifbar zu vermitteln, um sich anschließend, in einem gemeinsamen Workshop, selbst daran zu versuchen.
