Why Justin Trudeau is Wrong About Bill C-18 and Google’s Response to Mandated Payments for Links - Michael Geist
“It really surprises me that Google has decided that they would rather prevent Canadians from accessing news than actually paying journalists for the work they do. I think that’s a terrible mistake and I know that Canadians expect journalists to be well paid for the work they do.” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau waded into Bill C-18 and Google removing links to Canadian news articles in search results as part of a test for a small percentage of users yesterday with the quote cited above. At a press conference in Toronto, Trudeau went out of his way to volunteer that he is surprised by Google’s actions, which he thinks is a “terrible mistake.” If Trudeau was surprised, then he has not been paying attention, as the possibility of removing links to news articles in search results or social media has been an obvious consequence of a bill that mandates payments for links. But his surprise isn’t what is important or requires comment. What does is that Trudeau's comments mislead on several critical issues with Bill C-18.

HRC | The Real Threat to Women’s Sports Isn’t Transgender Athletes –…
Despite what legislatures and anti-trans activists would have you believe, transgender inclusion in sports is not a threat to womens sports. Instead, the biggest threat is schools themselves, which are underfunding womens’ sports relative to mens to the tune of millions of dollars.

Pierre Poilievre Takes Dangerous Step Into Trump-Like Authoritarianism

PP is a fascist. Say what you want of Carney, but this is terrifying and *deeply hypocritical. This is what he is *campaigning on - a created boogyman to put fear into people rather than tackling actual issues we care about is out of the fascist playbook, imagine what he would do if he took power.

And all this, after railing against the convoy and Trudeau's overreach - despite the fact that the police did nothing while if it was First Nations it would have been shut down immediately.

Him and his lies are the enemy of the people.

Yes, Donald Trump is Planning to Send U.S. Residents En Masse to Death Camps in El Salvador Run By Dictator Nayib Bukele
The White House meeting on Monday between Trump and Bukele isn’t quite a Hitler-Stalin summit, but in the context of this century’s politics and America’s descent into fascism, it approaches it.
