How Washington Enables Israel’s Ceasefire Violations
Since the Gaza ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, Israel has once again demonstrated that its impunity is limitless. In less than twenty days since following the signing of the ceasefire, Israel has murdered 226 Palestinians, injured 594, and continues to demolish homes at will. In the same period, Israel has breached the ceasefire more than 125 times.
Like Gaza, Israel is threatening to destroy the Lebanon ceasefire
A year-old “ceasefire” is being upheld in Lebanon despite almost daily Israeli military strikes. The Trump administration can still prevent the fragile truce from falling apart, but only if it forces Israel to follow the agreement.

A History of Deception: US-Israeli Pacts and the Gaza Proposal - CounterPunch.org
The history of Zionism is fundamentally one of deception. This assertion is critically relevant today, as it contextualizes the so-called ‘Trump Gaza proposal,’ which appears to be little more than a veiled strategy to defeat the Palestinians and facilitate the ethnic cleansing of a significant portion of Gaza’s population.
The announced ceasefire in Gaza has led to celebrations among Palestinians and their supporters and there are raised hopes for an end to two years of genocide.
The deal, which has been pursued by the US and urged on by Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey as mediators, is meant to secure a permanent ceasefire, prisoner exchanges, Israeli troop withdrawal, and a free flow of urgent aid into Gaza.
Hamas chief negotiator Khalil Al Hayya expressed appreciation for the persistent global solidarity with Gaza and emphasized the continued courage of those fighting in the resistanc
The Sumud Flotilla Has Succeeded in Making Israel a Pariah
The Global Sumud Flotilla seemingly breached Israel’s blockade of Gaza while provoking an Israeli response that triggered anger and reprisals from various governments. It’s one of the most successful acts of civil disobedience in recent history.
Global Sumud Flotilla Updates Following Illegal Interception And Abductions - PopularResistance.Org
Mediterranean Sea – After Israeli occupation naval forces illegally intercepted vessels of the Global Sumud Flotilla —a peaceful, non-violent convoy carrying food, baby formula, medicine, and volunteers from 47 countries to Gaza—hundreds of participants have been abducted and reportedly taken aboard the large naval vessel, the MSC Johannesburg. This was after they were assaulted with water cannons, doused with skunk water, and had their communications systematically jammed in yet more acts of aggression against unarmed civilians. Additionally, several boats were reportedly stopped by a chain-like barrier in international waters where Israel has no jurisdiction, just as they have no jurisdiction over Gaza’s waters and shoreline, compounding Israel’s continued war crimes and illegal blockade.

Report From Gaza Aid Agencies Shows 'Catastrophe on an Entirely New Level' | Common Dreams
Constant Israeli evacuation orders and attacks on humanitarian zones in Gaza have forced 2.1 million people into 14% of the strip's land. At the same time, restricted border crossings and the targeting of aid workers makes it even harder for NGOs to carry out life-saving work.
In 14-1 UN Security Council Vote, Lone US Veto Kills Gaza Cease-Fire Resolution | Common Dreams

Qatar’s PM announced in a press conference that Israel and Hamas had reached a comprehensive three-phase agreement on a ceasefire and captives-for-prisoners swap
The announcement of a cease-fire deal in Gaza is a welcome reprieve after over a year of genocide. But it does nothing to remedy Israel’s numerous violations of international law that produced untold misery among Palestinians and led to the war in the first place.

"Point-Blank": Israeli Soldiers Execute 15 Gaza Medics & Rescue Workers, Bury in Unmarked Mass Grave
Outrage is growing over Israel’s killing of 15 Palestinian medics and rescue workers north of the Gazan city of Rafah in the predawn hours of March 23. Israel initially claimed the convoy had suspiciously approached troops without headlights or flashing lights, but video footage shows the ambulances had their lights on when Israeli troops opened fire, unleashing a barrage of bullets. A paramedic who was inside the vehicle when it came under fire recorded the video on a cellphone and was among the 15 aid workers killed and buried in an unmarked mass grave. Diana Buttu, a Palestinian human rights attorney, calls the killing “the height of dehumanization.”
