Pierre Poilievre has staked out policies for his Conservative Party of Canada in stark opposition to those of the ruling Liberals ahead of this year's federal election, but social media users claim a screenshot of his voting record proves he sided with the government on hundreds of parliamentary motions. This is misleading; the statistic represents the total number of motions approved by Parliament regardless of party sponsor and legislative records show Poilievre voted against most Liberal proposals since the 2021 election.
