1000 mile visibility across Lake Huron to Hudson Bay - YouTube
Epic flight across the Great Lakes with an Infrared camera, this is part 2 of the Great Lakes in Infrared series. We can see 1000+ miles across the lake and land all the way to Hudson Bay, simply incredible!! The horizon change on the last slide could be due to atmospheric conditions above Lake Superior, I left that unexplained to cause some to ponder and think and engage the subject :)
thanks for watching,

A personal thank you to Air Force MSgt Ryan Crane for nominating me for this flight. Thank you sir.
The Thunderbirds have a YouTube Channel
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7_edytVWM8iumngqzTVLVw
This flight took place on May 3, 2019 in Biloxi Mississippi. The reason it took so long to release is the high amount of research I wanted to do before releasing the video. I even visited the Air Force Research Lab at Wright Patterson AFB to discuss some aspects of this video with Aerodynamicists. Synchronizing all this footage and coordinating additional B Roll with the Thunderbirds Public Affairs Officer also required a lot of effort.
These are my own thoughts, not those of the U.S. Air Force or the Thunderbirds:
I've been around a lot of pilots and ground crew in my life and I must say that the professionalism displayed by the Thunderbirds was astounding. Their goal is to inspire and demonstrate the capabilities of the US Air Force, so I'll take it a step further. If you're a smart young person who is interesting in changing your life for the better, strongly consider the Air Force. The job market isn't the best at the moment but the Air Force still has opportunities available for you to learn incredible skills even if you're not interested in flying. They manage everything from logistics, electronics, aerospace, cyber and even space systems. The threats to freedom are becoming more complex, and in my experience working for the Department of Defense over a 15 year span (even longer if you count my work as a contractor) The US Air Force consists of some of the most intelligent service members our country has. These people are book-smart, but also have the confidence to solve real world problems with their own hands. If I have a complex aerodynamic question, my first call is usually to someone in the Air Force, because they understand these complex phenomena intuitively. For example, in this video you would hear Flack and I talking about pitot tubes in flight. We also had other discussions about fuel burn rates, Prandtl Glauert, weather.... all kinds of things. Simply put, if you're looking for direction in your life, and you're good with science and math... consider the Air Force. That being said, they also need other types of skills as well. Logisticians, writers, creative people who know how to solve complex problems in unique ways.

MiG-29 High Altitude Stratosphere Flight - long version 8 camera HD | flight data - YouTube
Learn more about the Edge of Space Flight: http://tinyurl.com/fly-to-edge-of-space
The famous MiGFlug MiG-29 Edge of Space flight (also known as Stratosphere or high altitude flight) makes the news regularly as it probably is the craziest and most surprising adventure available, worldwide. The Edge of Space Flight - or Stratosphere Flight - has several unique characteristics that can't be experienced elsewhere:
- It's the only possibility for everyone to break the sound barrier
- supersonic flying with a top speed up to MACH 1.9
- Altitude up to 20km/65,000ft altitude
- Insane aerobatics with G-Forces up to over 9g
- The only possibility to fly a modern 4th generation fighter jet
- MiGFlug customers can control the MiG-29
You will reach twice the altitude and speed of a commercial airliner. Up there, in the stratosphere, you can clearly see the curvature of the Earth. Countless stars can be seen, even at daytime - in a deeply black sky. And far below the Earth is wrapped in a blue fog - the Troposphere. A breathtaking - life changing experience.
But how does the MiG-29 climb to these altitudes? It is above the service ceiling of the beautiful fighter jet. The MiG-29 climbs at maximum speed in a huge parabola and "overshoots" the service ceiling.
After the Edge of Space part - on the way down, you'll get to learn the amazing agility of the MiG-29, and the G-Forces the advanced aerobatic manoeuvres in combination with high speed causes. You can experience up to 9.2g which is very intense.
You'll also be able to control the MiG-29 and fly aerobatic manoeuvres yourself - the MiG-29UB is fully dual control and you'll get to learn how to fly it before during the ground training.
This video features Canadian Ferrari racecar driver, Ferrari club president and entrepreneur Josh Cartu. He dreamed of becoming an Astronaut or fighter pilot, MiGFlug had the honour to make his dream come true. But you don't need to be as famous as Josh is - everyone can fly with us.

Take-off from Paro airport, Bhutan
The plane has to ascend quickly and take sharp turns, with the mountains all around. The passengers feel as though the wings are touching the mountain peaks.
Some of the world's most extreme takeoffs and landings occur here.
The airport is 6 km far from Paro, in a deep valley on the bank of the river Paro Chhu. With surrounding peaks as high as 5,500 m, it is considered one of the world's most challenging airports, and fewer than two dozen pilots are certified to land at the airport.
Flights to and from Paro are allowed under visual meteorological conditions only and are restricted to daylight hours from sunrise to sunset. Landing is allowed only during daylight, the
Landing is allowed only during the day- the runway is not even in clear vision of the pilot and requires the airplane to be maneuvered a steep 45 degrees before drastically dropping onto the runway 🌏 http://www.curlynomad.com 🌏
