Mit vierzehn Jahren entdeckte die gebürtige Französin die Gitarre für sich. Drei Jahre später startet die junge Musikerin bereits auf Youtube durch - ihre Soli gehen viral und verschaffen ihr die Aufmerksamkeit eines breiten Publikums. Mittels Social Media generiert sie seit 2008 Klicks in zweistelliger Millionenhöhe. Ihre Follower verfolgen gebannt ihre musikalische Vita, die anfangs stark vom Musikgeschmack ihres englischen Vaters geprägt ist: The Band, ZZ Top, Johnny Cash und die Dire Straits. Mittlerweile ist der High-Voltage Rock'n'Roll von Laura Cox und ihrer Band eher im Stil von AC/DC und Danko Jones angelegt und lässt Southern Rock und Blues-Grundierung ineinander fließen.
