Nokia veut prendre sa revanche dans le domaine de la « 5G ouverte »
L’équipementier télécoms finlandais a annoncé avoir réussi un essai de sa technologie « Open Ran » en Italie avec Vodafone. Ces avancées doivent permettre à l’opérateur de remplacer certains équipements de réseau mobile par du logiciel, en faisant appel à de nouveaux fournisseurs, avec à la clé d’importantes économies. Nokia veut démontrer qu'il reste en pointe dans ce domaine après la perte d'un gros contrat aux Etats-Unis.
