had some of the most compelling writing I've seen in a Tales game in a long time.
Year 2 π Luminaria Hope
had a great cast of characters. All of their movements were so unique. All the characters played so differently! There was a playstyle for literally everybody to enjoy!
had a mascot that was going to be more than just... well, a mascot?! Toto already had, and was going to serve more, importance to Yelsy's plot, and possibly even the story as a whole.
had AMAZING character motivations & stories fleshed out in LESS THAN 1/4 of it's completed story.
had absolutely gorgeous environments & level design, even with the limitations they gave themselves. Although Im awful with location names, I can envision them plain as day.
introduced me to a whole bunch of lifelong friends I wouldn't trade for the world.
It hurts that it was taken away after such a short time, but Iβm still glad happened. Iβm glad I got to know its characters and part of its story.
What drove Maxime to leave the Academy when it seems he was just short of graduating and becoming a Stigmata Knight? That point in his chronology STILL haunts me! DONβT LEAVE ME HANGING!!
had an absolutely amazing OP, ED, and "Inspire Song" and it's an absolute shame so many people never saw or heard them.
deserves an end to its story. I hope we see it one day.
We'll never stop fighting for 's justice.
Something I adored about was how it felt like an interactive anime. With the way it was formatted, the new episodes were something I looked forward to every week!
is the best thing to ever happen.
is my starting point.
Another little thing I adore about is how it does something a bit different with a staple in the Tales formula: Skits.
is not just a mobile game. It's not just a gacha game.
The extra events in were great side stories, even if the way to get them was... not so great.
was so powerful to me that it pulled me out of an art burnout that was nearing a decade and Iβm so, so grateful for that.
