Creating high-quality visuals is essential to convey organization's message, make the invisible visible, to demystify data, to support decision-making, and to increase scrutiny over publicly funded investments. My experience demonstrates that collecting and analyzing data is easier than getting others to use it for policy decisions. Data visualization is a good start on the path towards using data for decision making.
