(combo notations below) Here is your Potemkin Combo Guide for Season 2 of Guilty Gear Strive! A lot of what he does remain classic, however there is a few new tricks not the least of which is his new Giganter Kai combo routes, which give him a lot more damage in situations he never had before. So here is a bunch of practical combos for you and hope it helps you out! P = Punch K = Kick S = Slash HS = Heavy Slash D = Dust COMBO GUIDE AND NOTATIONS qcf = quarcter circle forward/236 qcb = quarter circle back/214 DP = Dragon Punch motion, forward, down, downforward/623 f = forward/6 b = back/4 cl. = Close cr. = Crouching TK = Tiger Knee, motion ending in up-forward 789 456 123 FOREWARD: So Potemkin. He's either basic, or honestly the hardest combo character in the game. For a lot of the most optimal stuff you will need things like kara back megafist, multiples of them, and any flaw in your consistency = dropped combo. Its why in the video theres some easier examples and some harder examples. For a lot of the combos legitimately if you are concerned about the drop, its not worth the extra 7~15 damage, just go with consistency. WHAT IS KARA?: Simple in a way, for Potemkin its infusing a move with his forward+K shoulder charge, which makes it move forward. Basically do your move, hit forward+K, then hit the button you need So for kara buster half circle back, forward, K ~ P Kara garuda quarter circle back, forward, K~HS REMINDER: After basically every combo make sure to hammerfall(cancel) to gain space and get back on top of the enemy!
