But really, you're going to want to understand the spread of options at your disposal

Jumping is easier to snipe in this game

I say easier to snipe, as in, it's easier to remain in someone's face if they jump

So you're going to want to commit, you have a spread of decisions.

Things you can do on wakeup/after blocking
A) Normal Jump. Pretty safe, but against things that catch you just after prejump, you're stuck blocking again. This gives you a decent punish vs. throw, and can get you out against big gaps.
B) Superjump. Same as above. No punish vs. throw, but can get you up and away.
C) FD. Limited gatling options means you can really force someone to commit to throw or leaving a big gap if they want to stay in.
D) Poke. Can challenge someone trying to stay in. Can be counterhit by tight strings.
E) Rising jP. Can punish someone trying to early jump to bait throw whiff/pokes/jumps on wakeup.
F) Throw. Breaks throw. 2f startup means it can nab people out of stuff if they're sloppy.
