Guilty Gear Strive - Potemkin Combo Guide
Potemkin Combos! Even if the big boy himself prefers to get that Potemkin buster off, of course he needs combos too! (not to mention combos off potemkin buster) So with that said this combo guide should give you everything you need to get off the ground!
P = Punch
K = Kick
S = Slash
HS = Heavy Slash
D = Dust
qcf = quarcter circle forward/236
qcb = quarter circle back/214
DP = Dragon Punch motion, forward, down, downforward/623
f = forward/6
b = back/4
cl. = Close
cr. = Crouching

Notations according to number method are just like keys on your keyboard. So 236 equals down, downforward, forward. 5 Assumes No direction/neutral.
THE BASICS
- Punch x3, cr.punch
- Far slash, gatling into Heavy Slash
- Counterhit Farslash, gatling into heavy slash, hammerfall - sliding purple RC into cl.S, cr.S, cr.HS, megafist x2
- cr.K, cr.D, megafist
GARUDA STUFF
- Garuda gunshot combos into Potemkin buster
- You can Kara pot buster after garuda to get more range on the grab
- Counterhit Garuda combos into forward+HS command normal if you think you cant hit pot buster.
- Counterhit Garuda combos into itself! CH Garuda, kara sliding garuda, then you are in range for pot buster!
- Counterhit 6K shoulder combos into Garuda, which then naturally goes into post buster.
HEAVY SLASH
- Counterhit far HS combos naturally into hammerfall
- Counterhit far HS after hammerfall, purple slide RC forward for easy combo into cl.S, cr.S, cr.H, megafist x2
- You can let the hammerfall rock and instead stand kick, do kara backwards megafist, cr.S, megafist x2
POTEMKIN BUSTERS
- slide RC pot buster into full charged dust, cr.HS, megafist x2
- slide RC pot buster and tiny walk foward full charged dust, cr.S, cr.HS, heatknuckle for a bit more damage. Its much harder to do for only a couple more points of damage so not really recommended.
- In corner after RC, jump forward S,HS, land, cr.HS, megafist, and heat knuckle for wallbreak.
- In corner slide RC and quick cancel it into cr.HS, megafist, cl.S, hammerfall, and forward+HS for wallbreak for a bit more damage.
DUST ROUTE
HS, jump HS, S, HS, jump HS,HS
big damage for zero effort lol
MEGAFIST COMBOS
- Far counterhit, get cr.P
- close counterhit, cl.S, cr.HS, megafist x2
- Purple RC's are best, after you confirm hit land and purple RC. Do cl.S, gunshot, buster if your timing is good, if not then just cl.S, cr.S, cr.HS, megafist x2.
ANTI REVERSAL CORNER COMBOS
- cr.HS, big counter time stop, hammerfall brake to get back to corner, cr.HS, megafist(prob have to delay for them to fall close enough), cl.S, hammerfall, forward+HS for break
- forward+HS, hammerfall brake, kara backwards megafist, cl.S, kara backwards megafist, cl.S, forward+HS, and another for wallbreak
