➡️ Ensuring an alignment of learning objectives. ➡️ Checking for missing instructional opportunities. ➡️ Avoiding unnecessary complexity or gaps. I've put the HANDOUTS mentioned in the comments section. I will be updating this video with better example when I get time in april, so stay tuned for a new and improved version. I made this one over 3 years ago. #InstructionalDesign #LearningObjectives #BloomsTaxonomy | 43 comments on LinkedIn

How to Create Change | Simon Sinek
To be innovative, we can't look to what others have done. The whole idea of blazing a path is that there was no path there before. Simon shares the mindset that changed the way he thinks about creating change within organizations—the Law of Diffusion of Innovation. Video from EZRA Live and Unscripted, November 2024, in conversation with EZRA CEO Nick Goldberg + + + Simon is an unshakable optimist. He believes in a bright future and our ability to build it together. Described as “a visionary thinker with a rare intellect,” Simon has devoted his professional life to help advance a vision of the world that does not yet exist; a world in which the vast majority of people wake up every single morning inspired, feel safe wherever they are and end the day fulfilled by the work that they do. Simon is the author of multiple best-selling books including Start With Why, Leaders Eat Last, Together is Better, and The Infinite Game. + + + Website: http://simonsinek.com/ Live Online Classes: https://simonsinek.com/classes/ Podcast: http://apple.co/simonsinek Instagram: https://instagram.com/simonsinek/ Linkedin: https://linkedin.com/in/simonsinek/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/simonsinek Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/simonsinek Simon’s books: The Infinite Game: https://simonsinek.com/books/the-infinite-game/ Start With Why: https://simonsinek.com/books/start-with-why/ Find Your Why: https://simonsinek.com/books/find-your-why/ Leaders Eat Last: https://simonsinek.com/books/leaders-eat-last/ Together is Better: https://simonsinek.com/books/together-is-better/ + + + #SimonSinek

Steile Thesen 02 - Der Begriff Lernen braucht ein Update
Steile Thesen 02 - Der Begriff Lernen braucht ein Update
Steile These 02: 🔍 Lernen braucht ein Update! 1000 DANK! ☺️ #Lernkultur #Learning #Lernenneudenken #corporatelearning created by Jan Foelsing #learningdevelopment #personalentwicklung #corporatelearning #newlearning #tools #newlearninglab #toolnerd #futurelearning Werde auch du Teil des New Learning Labs! Absolut. Context matters, a lot! Eine sinnvolle Erweiterung. Ich würde gerne noch Experimentation hinzufügen. Aber ohne c am Anfang geht das wohl nicht. 😅😅 Chatgpt schlug mir Calibration als Alternative vor. Oder vielleicht Constant Calibration.

Digital Learning Realities 2024 | Fosway Group

What should you takeaway?

  1. Skills and build capability are the priority. It's not enough (maybe was never enough) just to provide content for knowledge. Skills and changing behaviours for higher performance and enabling innovation is more important than ever- and evidencing outcomes to real business priorities. if you crack that code - you'll have much better funding as a learning team.

  2. The focus of investment is moving to enabling a more democratised approach to creating learning. That is going to cause pain and miss-steps - but doing more with less or the same is the call of the day. And sometimes something is better than nothing.

  3. AI is coming. It's all about the content at the moment, but it could be so much more, if we take a more learning-cycle view. If you haven't looked at PLASMA as a learning cycle model - please do! AI is going to change our world - but we have to shape the vision of what its brings. Don't sit back and wait for what comes. Demand better!

  4. The learning experience is about to get much more 'modern'. That's to say more adaptive, immersive and scenario based. And in part that is being enabled by AI. Yes, we need to support people in the flow of work, but we also need to get them 'match fit' before they play - as part of our L&D Value Add.

  5. Our learning systems still underwhelm our learners. There is something missing from LMS and LXP platforms which makes learning truly connecting, truly motivating, truly engaging and truly human. From what we've seen of what's coming, we still don't get that. So for all the new features the EXPERIENCE is still falling short. We need to rethink things and raise the bar. We all deserve better.

The science behind dramatically better conversations | Charles Duhigg | TEDxManchester
The science behind dramatically better conversations | Charles Duhigg | TEDxManchester
In a world of increasing complexity but decreasing free time, the role of the trusted ‘explainer’ has never been more important. Charles Duhigg is a literal prizewinner in the field and won the Pulitzer Prize for Explanatory Reporting for his team’s series of articles in the New York Times explaining the (not always wonderful) impact of Apple and big tech on the global economy. He’s also the author of the massive bestseller, The Power of Habit. Charles joined us in Manchester to discuss his latest research and book on Supercommunicators which strikes us as the perfect ‘meta’ topic for a TEDx event. We can all appreciate the incredible power of communication. But while we’re all trying to communicate, some of us clearly do it better than others. Why? According to Charles’ latest work, supercommunicators understand that whenever we speak, we’re actually participating in one of three conversations: practical (What’s this really about?), emotional (How do we feel?), and social (Who are we?). If you don’t know what kind of conversation you’re having, you’re unlikely to connect. “Supercommunicators” know the importance of recognizing—and then matching—each kind of conversation and how to hear the complex emotions, subtle negotiations, and deeply held beliefs that color so much of what we say and how we listen. He says that our experiences, our values, our emotional lives—and how we see ourselves and others—shape every discussion, from who will pick up the kids to how we want to be treated at work. Learn why some people are able to make themselves heard, and to hear others, so clearly. Charles Duhigg is a Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter and the author of the international bestsellers The Power of Habit and Smarter Faster Better. His works have been translated into over 45 languages. He is a former journalist for the Los Angeles Times and New York Times and currently writes for The New Yorker magazine. He is a winner of the National Academies of Sciences, National Journalism, and George Polk awards. A graduate of Harvard Business School and Yale College, he lives in California with his wife and two children. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
