Saving tabs in a text file
Ellane publishes every week a “Plain Text, Paper less” aka PTPL post. This morning I read her post Saving Safari tabs as Markdown links. I don’t use Safari, I use Librewolf, a privacy focused fork of Firefox. And, I use Tridactyl, a Vim experience in your browser. If you are a Vim user, once you tried it, you can’t live without it anymore.

Evergreen notes | Andy Matuschak
Evergreen notes | Andy Matuschak
Evergreen notes are written and organized to evolve, contribute, and accumulate over time, across projects. This is an unusual way to think about writing notes: Most people take only transient notes. That’s because these practices aren’t about writing notes; they’re about effectively developing insight: “Better note-taking” misses the point; what matters is “better thinking”. When done well, these notes can be quite valuable: Evergreen note-writing as fundamental unit of knowledge work.

How I write my blogs in Obsidian and publish instantly
I’ve been using Obsidian for all my writing lately, and it’s been a game changer. The local-first model means everything lives as plain text on my machine, and with the Minimal theme, the interface stays clean and distraction-free. My vault lives in iCloud (Dropbox or Google Drive work too), so notes sync seamlessly across devices - I often start drafts on my phone and finish them later on my laptop.
