Reddit’s deal with OpenAI will plug its posts into “ChatGPT and new products”
OpenAI and Reddit have joined forces meaning the wealth of knowledge that is in Reddit will be used to train OpenAI's model. That also means all the other nonsense inside reddit will be used too so it'll be interesting to see how they filter that.

It looks like OpenAI want to bring out its own Search Engine to take on the likes of Google by using AI. As a long time Perplexity user this could be a really exciting change to how the world uses AI to find content on the internet and how companies use search for advertisements

Paid ChatGPT users can now bring third-party apps powered by OpenAI's AI models into a conversation by typing '@' and selecting a GPT from the list. The selected GPT will have a full understanding of the conversation. Different GPTs can be tagged for different use cases and needs. OpenAI plans to eventually introduce monetization for GPTs, but the company may have to get traffic up first. Moderation of GPTs is proving to be a challenge to OpenAI.
