This writer missed that Rey saved the Jedi texts, but I agree with most of their points about how different TLJ is, and a lot of that is why I liked it. I also disagree that it isn't fun — the writing made it in some ways more fun than most Star Wars films previous, and it was beautifully shot, even if pieces of it don't make sense.
