The US needs to become the Texas of the world. Texas has its very own power-grid. If shit hits the fan in other countries, the US shouldn't be affected by it.. It's time to mine, build & manufacture everything right on US soil.— Hugo Vale (@HugoVale_) February 15, 2025

If we can’t lower production costs those with demand will simply go elsewhere, if tariffs exist everywhere and you force higher priced American goods on the economy. This could have a huge impact on the economy itself.— I love reading the constitution. (@mike_mcclatchy) February 15, 2025

The United States did not master manufacturing “in 1-2 years during WW2” the US had manufacturing locked up with Ford’s assembly line in the late 20s, was manufacturing tanks and planes for Europe long before the US was involved. Sadly, Great Britain did the same some decades back and worse, we abdicated sovereignty of code to the U.S. meaning we could only operate as a second-tier, and what a disappointment in that rôle we have been.— ConcernedCitizen (@tArtanyin) February 15, 2025

It happened again. This Syrian migrant stabbed a 14 y/o Austrian boy to death and injured 5 others today in Villach, Austria.🇦🇹 He proudly smiles after the fact.
