@carlbildt Of course, this is a provocation. The U.S. is intimidating Greenlanders, trying to influence their decisions. This behavior is a shot in the foot and burns bridges for potential cooperation between Greenland and the USA.

@RikiLovesHerAvs @carlbildt I’ve looked it up. For US citizens, no Visa is required for stays of up to 90 days for business or tourism purposes. Therefore it’s possible that they could refuse him entry if they think his visit is not for those purposes.

@GillW1220 He is coming to visit the American base and troops. The American vice president can't be refused a visit to their own troops. A VP does not travel on a tourist or business visa but a diplomatic passport. It also means that (like any diplomat) he has immunity.
