@Nigel54367252 @betterallan @larsloekke Indeed that's true. Denmark was occupied, and Greenland was a part of Denmark. Because it was so far from Denmark it was left unoccupied. But it was 🇺🇸 to protect Greenland from the National Socialists, not Britain. Do not mis-state those facts.

@betterallan @larsloekke That's wrong! Greenland was under Nazi occupation from 1940 to 1945 before being liberated by the United States. The US Pituffik Space Base has existed since 1946. So, Britain had nothing to do with Greenland.
