Nissan unveils 100% electric emergency response vehicle concept designed to provide a mobile source of electricity following natural disasters or extreme weather events. Nissan RE-LEAF concept has been modified to cope with less pleasant events. According to Nissan officials, technicians need 24 to 48 hours to put the electricity grid back into operation in areas affected by natural disasters. All this time, those affected need electricity, and the Nissan RE-LEAF prototype can be a solution.
