According to the German Handelsblatt publication, the new Volkswagen small-class electric cars will be produced at the plant in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. This is the same factory where VW Up, Skoda Citigo and SEAT Mii are currently being built. Initially, they took into account the Emden plant (Germany), but eventually chose Bratislava to minimize costs as much as possible. The three models will be joined by electric cars produced by VW, Skoda and SEAT, all three brands being reunited under the umbrella of Volkswagen AG.

Geotab has prepared a joint study with AEGFA, Spanish Association of Fleet Managers and Mobility (Asociación Española de Gestores de Flotas de Automóviles), to analyze the state of electrification of fleets in Spain. The study is based on a survey of more than 90 managers of medium and large fleets in Spain and among its main conclusions highlights that the vast majority is planning to increase the adoption of electric vehicles. In fact, only 1% of companies surveyed maintain that no change would encourage them to electrify their fleet.

Vattenfall and the city of Amsterdam are now jointly operating under the name Flexpower. "Flexpower" is said to be the largest smart charging network for electric vehicles in Amsterdam. Flexpower enables faster charging, the maximum use of electricity from renewable energies and more even utilization of the network, says Vattenfall. A total of 456 charging stations were technically upgraded by Vattenfall with 912 charging points (which corresponds to a third of all electric car charging stations in the city) and connected to the intelligent charging network of Flexpower.

The Polish company Triggo has developed an urban electric vehicle with an interesting quality: the width of the car can be adjusted from 148 to 86 cm. The novelty is designed to take its rightful place in the category of light vehicles designed for one or two passengers. The Polish model falls into the category of L7E light vehicles, being a quadricycle weighing less than 400 kg (without batteries). Triggo can carry two passengers, one behind the other and has a maximum range of 100 km.

The Italian motorcycle maker Ducati is launching folding e-bikes and e-scooters with electric drives under the name Ducati Urban e-Mobility. Ducati developed these with the Italian company MT Distribution. Seven different models are expected to be launched this year. The vehicles are sold under the brands Ducati, Ducati Corse, and Ducati Scrambler. Depending on the model, the e-scooters should deliver between 250 and 500 watts, the e-bikes are limited to 250 watts (in accordance with Italian law) - making them suitable for most European countries.
