The Mustang Mach-E electric SUV can charge an average of 119 km at just 10 minutes when using an IONITY charging station. In contrast to the data simulated tests, the actual test shows that the Mustang Mach-E achieved on average 26 km (almost 30%) better reach than previously estimated in the more traditionalistic simulation tests. The tests were performed on a Mustang Mach-E Long Range RWD with a range of up to 600 kilometres.

The Chinese electric car manufacturer BYD plans to launch in Europe in 2020. In addition to a 100% electric SUV, commercial vehicles with an electric drive are also planned. BYD has been active in Europe for some time now with electrically powered buses for public transport. In the passenger car area, the all-electric compact crossover BYD e6 was used for a number of attempts by various importers. However, large quantities were not achieved with the e6, which is mainly used as a taxi in China. BYD Europe, based in the Netherlands, is planning a centrally guided market entry for 2020.

The production version of the BMW iX3 electric SUV is unintentionally revealed through the first two official photos. It was on the Instagram account of a "scott26_unofficial" that the two photos appeared. The true name of the author and his source is unknown, but these photos seem to be authentic. The BMW iX3 appears here in its standard clothes, very close to the concept car presented at the 2018 Beijing Motor Show. The photo leak does not mention any features.

A new electric SUV is coming from the USA. Triton Model H develops 1,500 hp and promises an electric range of 1,100 km. Triton is a newcomer to the automotive world, being a subsidiary of the Triton-Solar company and dealing with the production of solar modules and batteries.

The manufacturer revealed the specifications and showed the design of the new Kia Sorento. The fourth-generation crossover was created on a completely new architecture, which will be equipped with a hybrid powertrain and will provide more space and comfort for passengers, as well as improved handling. Kia will be exhibiting the new generation of the Sorento SUV at the Geneva Motor Show. In the South Korean market, the model will be available for pre-order in the coming days. The fourth-generation Kia Sorento will be the first crossover SUV of the brand, created on a completely new platform.

Citroën launches this electric offensive by unveiling its signature “Inspirëd By You All” dedicated to electrified vehicles and its technological flagship: C5 Aircross SUV Hybrid, the Silent Urban Vehicle plug-in hybrid.

Based on the Volkswagen Group's MEB platform, the Skoda Enyaq will be the first 100% electric SUV of the Czech brand. The "E", located at the beginning of the name, refers to electric mobility while the "Q" at the end creates a connection with the family of Czech brand SUV models, such as the Kodiaq, the Karoq and the Kamiq, whose Names are derived from the language of the Inuit who live in northern Canada and Greenland.

The Citroën range expands with its first hybrid plug-in, a role that C5 Aircross plays.

Citroën has presented the new C5 Aircross Hybrid, which is offered from 40,390 euros in Germany. The Citroën C5 Aircross is the largest and most ambitious SUV from Citroën. The plug-in hybrid offers a system output of 165 kW, to which the electric motor contributes 80 kW.

Audi will launch later this year the e-tron 50 quattro, a new version of the electric SUV which will have a power of 313 hp. For a few months, it is known that Audi is preparing new sports versions of the e-tron. The best known is the Audi e-tron Sportback.

Peugeot has just updated the ranks of its SUV range with the presentation of the new Peugeot 2008. In addition to gasoline and diesel mechanics, it will be the brand's first SUV to receive a 100% electric propulsion system. This new electric SUV will be manufactured at the Vigo plant in Spain and will reach the market at the end of 2019. It also takes a step forward in technology and security. On an aesthetic level, the design of the new Peugeot 2008 keeps a certain relationship with the recently presented 208, with attractive and distinctive lines.

Until a few months ago, Rivian was unknown to the general public. Headquartered in Michigan, the Michigan-based company was first established in 2009 but was not acknowledged until last November's Los Angeles Motor Show, when it introduced the Rivian R1S and R1T, both electric vehicles. The first is a 750 hp electric SUV reminiscent of the Tesla Model X. But the surprise came with the R1T, because it's the first electric pickup on the market. A typical American car, with its big size and power, but with no combustion engine, and that makes it unique in its kind.
