Si tratta di una piattaforma di intelligenza artificiale, in grado di apprendere il comportamento dei consumari, sviluppata dall'omonima startup francese e che, tramite un infallibile algoritmo, è in grado di individuare i potenziali furti semplicemente collegandola ai sistemi di videosorveglianza già presenti. Come si intuisce dal video, il sistema scansiona e analizza i movimenti delle persone e segnala eventuali atteggiamenti sospetti. Secondo una prima stima della startup le aziende che stanno utilizzando Veesion hanno visto una perdita di fatturato dovuto ai furtu ridotto dal 30% al 70%. Attualmente il sistema è presente in oltre duemila negozi in 20 nazioni. Tra i clienti figurano MD, Carrefour, Crai, Conad, Sigma. Per quanto riguarda il nostro Paese, la startup parigina ha firmato un contratto con Carrefour Italia e installato il software in più di 100 punti vendita Carrefour Express e Carrefour Market secondo quanto dichiarato da Startupbusiness.it
