We design libre / open source fonts. That means that you can use, modify and redistribute them freely! Learn more and contribute to the adventure of Velvetyne Type Foundry by reading our “about” page!…
This collection aims at giving visibility to libre fonts drawn by womxn designers, who are often underrepresented in the traditionally conservative field of typography. These fonts are shared under Free, Libre and Open Source licenses, which allow anyone to use them, modify their design, contribute more glyphs or styles to their non-nuclear families, build upon them and redistribute them further.
Typewolf helps designers choose the perfect font combination for their next design project—features web fonts in the wild, font recommendations and learning resources.
When using kerning or tracking on your type it can help with legibility or correct the way type looks for a specific situation. It’s important to understand the differences and when to use them.
