The sauna and the pier at Police Summerhouse in Lauttasaari are now open for public since 2019. There are two wood burning saunas for men and women and a pier where you can access water or dip yourself in icy water during the winters.

This is the oldest still functioning sauna in Helsinki that is open to the public. The sauna building, completed in the 1880s, has been used by staff and patients and now open to the public.

Haukanpesä sauna in Nuuksio's Haukkalampi! The sauna lies in the middle of the national park and provides refreshment after short or long nature hikes. The terrace is towards Haukkalampi pond and you can go swimming from the nearby pier.

The wood heated beach sauna at Villa Salmela (Helsinki Jollas) is heated all year round on sauna days.

Laguuni has two saunas available for public. One is wood-burning container sauna and an electric wooden barrel sauna. Both saunas have sea views through the windows.

Three public smoke saunas and electric saunas provide warmth every day of the year at Kuusijärvi. The only public smoke saunas.

Lonna’s public sauna is located on the island of Lonna in the archipelago just in front of the city center of Helsinki. There are two loft saunas which are heated up with wood burning stoves.

The Beach Sauna, which once served as Furuvik's network shed, is located next to a sheltered sandy beach, right on the water.

Sompasauna is Helsinki's most public sauna - open 24/7/365, run by everyone who uses it. Sompasauna is always free and open to everyone.

Kulttuurisauna is a public sauna established in 2013 with a wood-heated single-fired mass stove, open year-around.

Kotiharjun sauna is the oldest existing public sauna for men and women in Helsinki. Wooden heated. Open every day exept mondays.

Sauna Hermanni is a public sauna founded in Helsinki in 1953. The sauna houses 30 gentlemen and 20 ladies bathing at once. Refreshments are available on site, or you may bring your own.

Uusi Sauna brings the classic neighborhood sauna into the 21st century. It is a combination of a public sauna with a terrace for cooling off, and a bar and bistro that seats over 100 guests inside.
