Being a humanist technologist
I was very taken by Robin Berjon’s description of technologists: Someone needs to navigate the digital world (for a business, a project, any institution) without blind deference

Previously: Initial thoughts on Kirby CMS I recently finished a site for a client built with Kirby CMS. WordPress was no longer meeting their needs and it was time to move them to a proper CMS with custom content models and no ads in the backend. Now that the site is launched I have more thoughts I wanted to share about Kirby. Building my own solutions There aren’t a lot of plugins available for Kirby, which means you’ll have to build things yourself.

Did William Empson have ADHD (or something like it)?
I can say with a high degree of confidence that William Empson had aphantasia. But did he also suffer from ADHD? And, if so, were the two conditions connected? And how would we know?

How we got here
How we got here
The idea of FeedLand is to see what would happen if instead of building something complicated around conversations, we limited ourselves to what feeds could do and then see where we could go with that.
