Ya so I suppose a few notes about combos in this game that I tinkered with for a few mins.. Which really was only a bit, as I didnt want to stay at home playing video games on the weekend since its not a big deal to me, and the game is whatever, so I had assumed I could just play it on sunday when I was more free for a bit.. but then lo and behold it wasnt even out on sunday.. so a few scraps to keep the channel active besides what ive showed.. and a few notes on ky and combos in the corner..
So not taking into the invisible wall health regeneration into account.. And again NO momentum whatever so ever... basic idea seems to be, duck HS to something else. If they are electrified, duck HS pulls the guy up enough that the elec DP allows you to link off of then whatever blah blah... If they are not electrified yet, duck hs, to qcb+s, pulls the guy up just high enough that you can get a good OTG duck HS, to flip kick unlike normal.. If you are a bit farther away you could do a good OTG duck s, which causes a bounce spinny thingy which then would let a fireball to combo. Or vs lighter you can get a HS good OTG...
Theres more you can do off this, but again you needed momentum, so not super realistic since I was thinking of it more practically. Ya theres f+hs which was toned down from last beta to do stuff, but thinking BNB wise off a duck s, or some kinda high low mix up... Which even speaking of that, even doing a jump in sadly just a single hit more.. caused this seemgly simple idea not to work.
So I wonder if they are gonna change this or make it more lenient at all, as duck hs, to either big slash thingy, or if they are already electrified dp, seems like it was put in their on purpose as a pretty core idea for his combo stuff.. but its so strict with push back, even a single hit more doesnt work unless you have momentum which makes it very bizarre . I was gonna make a video talking about this and showing off some more theoretical stuff that would probably be his BNBs, and where you could try to do dumb reaches to not think about the wall regeneration but again.. I had assumed I could just play on sunday so didnt really fiddle with the game. But its something that stuck out to me, as curious as it seems to be on purpose for sure.. but its like..they didnt test it really, or when tehy tested..the tester really just had his guy always running to try it. Which of course is not realistic in a real match to think you are gonna be hitting it like that. Then again they did add this ground counter hit duck hs, to big blue stuff in this beta.. so maybe they really do expect you to be doing a lot of random up in your junk duck hs shit....
