Leo option select on reversals
Plinking bt.K, bt.S, bt.D in a specific rhythm while in backturn stance lets Leo option select certain reversals. Explanation on hit: bt.K can gatling into bt.S on hit, but since bt.D is pressed before bt.S comes out, the kahn shield will not properly gatling from bt.S. letting you continue pressure as normal. Explanation on wiff: since K does not hit the opponent, bt.S does not gatling. However, since bt.K has such a small amount of endlag (6F), your kahn shield is pressed after endlag. The only scenarios where bt.K will wiff are reversals and dashback. Dashback will cause you to shield in their face and give them plenty of time to punish you. Works on the following reversals: Testament: Calamity One (11+4) Jack-O: None, her reversal super is a grab Nago: Wasureyuki (7+2), Zansetsu (11+10) Millia: Winger (6+1). Only if you're frame perfect and have the last active frame of bt.K active for their first frame of wake-up. Not advisable Chipp: Beta Blade (7F). Same as above, only if frame perfect. not advisable. Zansei Rouga (20+1) Sol: Volcanic Vipier (S:7F, HS:13F). Slash version same as above. Tyrant Rave (5+2). Same as above. 7F are *technically possible* but don't. Ky: Vapor Thrust (S:11F, HS:13FF) Ride the Lightning (7+1). not guaranteed if bt.K starts too late. May: The Wonderful and Dynamic Goshogawara (6+4) Zato-1: no reversals. don't worry about using this tech. I-no: Ultimate Fortissimo (6+2). not guaranteed if bt.K starts too late. Happy Chaos: no reversals. don't worry about using this tech. Baiken: Tsurane Sanzu-watashi (7+1). not guaranteed if bt.K starts too late. also Hiiragi parry counters this tech. Anji: no reversals. don't use this tech. Kachoufuugetsu Kai (super parry) counters this tech anyway. Leo: Leidenschaft des Dirigenten (10+1) Eisensturm (S:7, HS:8) S is frame perfect, HS is also difficult. not advisable. Faust: Bone-crushing Excitement (16+5) note: the super PRC tech beats this. Axl: Sickle Storm (11+1) Potemkin: Giganter Kai (10+9) Ramlethal: Mortobato: (7+2) Gio: Ventania (4+3) frame perfect only, not advisable. Goldlewis: Down With The System, all versions (6+4, 11+4, 16+4)

Grabs and how they work: Grabs cannot - Attack someone in the air unless given special properties - Use the collision box of your opponent as opposed to their normal hurtboxes - Has the exact same knockback and lift against characters of all weights - Can be avoided using invulnerability in a reversal - Attack someone within 5 frames of them exiting hitstun/blockstun/getup, this grace period prevents you from jailing people into throws and gives them room to attack you if they anticipate a throw Certain moves have strike or throw invulnerability during parts or all of the move's duration, all meterless reversals (DPs) are only strike invulnerable and can be grabbed so long as they are grabbed while on the ground, most metered reversals are both strike and throw invulnerable and cannot be interrupted during their start with Potemkin's being the only exception The only exception to the grace period rule is guard crushes, these are specific moves that will put opponents in a different animation than normal and they become vulnerable to a grab the moment they leave blockstun, though they cannot be grabbed while still stunned as that would be unfair Garuda Impact is Potemkin's only guard crushing move The only time you can combo into a grab is throw a "stagger" hit, these are moves that put you in a large amount of stun and can be mashed to escape the stun sooner but during this stun you are vulnerable to both strikes and throws so you may be grabbed during this Potemkin can only do this with a Garuda Impact on hit and a Counter Hit 2s
