I fixed it! A few week ago I found my old Gen 5.5 80gb iPod on the ground in my closet. I decided to refurbish it. New huge 2000mah battery, new screen (screen was broken) and I switched out the old spinning hard drive to an Iflash quad TF card adapter / 250gb of micro sd cards. Also a new faceplate and back metal case. I didn’t do blue tooth though. I also got an old Apple Hifi speaker for the house for dirt cheap on offer up. I’m all in! I redigitized my cd music collection for the iPod too1/2
