It’s been 30 years since the release of @coldcutofficial “Journeys by DJ: 70 Minutes of Madness” mix! Coldcut pushed the boundaries of what a DJ mix could be by incorporating changes in tempo, spoken word samples, scratching and layering. The intricate production, which involved studio editing (using ADAT and early computer software), made the mix feel more like an album than a DJ set.
