A piece that was created in hope of inspiring others, has now inspired me to completely redo the project and compare the results. I'm not trying to replace or "beat" the first version in any way. I'm simply doing this to compare what i did back then with what i can do now. Just like i did with Syndrome / Symptom. Thank you so much for stopping by! 13/11/2015 Thinking of all those who have lost their lives or loved one & all those helping A Virtual Friend has created a calm and chilled electronic pop song with a groovy beat. The track, Paris La Nuit, evokes the emotional intensity of Parisian nights and the strong sensations felt by the nostalgics and lovers of the French capital.

Written after several electrifying gigs in China, this new song reflects our perception of Shanghai’s exciting atmosphere. Boosted by the overwhelmingly positive feedback of our shows, we wanted to incorporate and share the incredible energy of the crowd in the creation process. Another influence was the amazing work of our friend and talented artist Marc Mandril who transformed Shanghai’s buildings into giant and spectacular robots. On the cover, one fully-animated building is ready to annihilate humankind. Consequently, the lyrics describe the ambiguous relationship between humans and machines. The song starts with a retro synth theme but quickly morphs into a strong beat and jumpy bass which will have the listener shaking from head to toe. 13/11/2015 Thinking of all those who have lost their lives or loved one & all those helping After thousands of plays, including features in remarkable short movies, our song ‘Paris La Nuit’ has been remixed. We’re delighted to present a new version of the tune produced in another exciting european capital. Our Berliner friend Leevey is the man behind this groovy Tech house remix. In this totally new version, electronic and synthetic instruments are subtly programmed to get everybody onto the dancefloor. Furthermore, for the cover art, we have had the immense privilege of collaborating with Joo Jaebum from Seoul. His pixel art version of the Eiffel Tower perfectly reflects the transformation which occurred during the remixing process of the song.
