Accessible Text CAPTCHA Logic Questions
Accessible Text CAPTCHA Logic Questions
This site provides a simple web service to generate text-based CAPTCHAs. These tell humans and robots apart by asking a simple logic question. These questions are aimed at a child's age of 7, so can be solved easily by all but the most cognitively impaired users. As they involve human logic, such questions cannot be solved by a robot. Want to use such CAPTCHAs in your site? If you're not yet convinced that you need text CAPTCHAs, read why they are useful. Peruse some examples of the logic questions that are generated by this site. Find out how our service works, and sign up for your own account.

Overview — Sphinx v1.0.4 documentation
Sphinx is a tool that makes it easy to create intelligent and beautiful documentation, written by Georg Brandl and licensed under the BSD license. It was originally created for the new Python documentation, and it has excellent facilities for the documentation of Python projects, but C/C++ is already supported as well, and it is planned to add special support for other languages as well. Of course, this site is also created from reStructuredText sources using Sphinx!

visualizing.org
visualizing.org
Visualizing.org is a community of creative people working to make sense of complex issues through data and design… and it’s a shared space and free resource to help you achieve this goal. Why Visualizing.org? By some estimates, we now create more data each year than in the entirety of prior human history. Data visualization helps us approach, interpret, and extract knowledge from this information. Over the last couple of years, we’ve seen government agencies, NGOs, and companies open up their data for the public to see and use. And we’ve seen data visualization figure more prominently in design curricula, conference programs, and the media. We created Visualizing.org because we want to help connect the proliferation of public data… with a community that can help us understand this data… with the general public.

7 Image Search Tools That Will Change Your Life | Brain Pickings
Although Google has been playing with some fun image search toys in its lab and the official Google Image Search has recently significantly upped its game, some of its most hyped features — color search, instant scrolling, hover preview — are but mere shadows of sleeker, better versions that geekier, more sophisticated image search tools offer. Here are seven of our favorites.

Create an RSS Feed for Twitter Favorites | Twitterrati
The good thing about Twitter is the steady stream of new ideas, thoughts, content and online suggestions served up by other people. The bad thing is it can be difficult to keep up. A solution is using Twitter’s “favorite” feature as a way to bookmark items that can be viewed later. One of the challenges, however, is Twitter doesn’t make it easy to view or search all of your favorites, especially if the tool is used on a regular basis. So, what do you do? An interesting approach is creating an RSS feed for your favorites.

Mbedr - Embedded Flickr Notes
This utility will allow you to embed a photo from Flickr on your own site while retaining any annotated regions present on the original. See the example below. If the photo you want to include on your site doesn't have any annotations ("notes", as Flickr calls them), then don't bother using this utility, as it's pointless.
