Ohio State Vs. Michigan State Score: Live Game Updates, College Football Scores, NCAA Top 25 Highlights Today – CBS Sports https://collincountynewsonline.com/ohio-state-vs-michigan-state-score-live-game-updates-college-football-scores-ncaa-top-25-highlights-today-cbs-sports/ No. 3 Ohio State hits the road for the first time all season as it faces Big Ten East foe Michigan State. While both teams were among the best in the division last season, there has been a widening gap in the first weeks of 2022 as the Buckeyes have mostly lived up to their expectation of being a championship contender while Michigan State is 0-3 against Power Five opponents.  Ohio State has dealt with injury issues to key offensive weapons yet remains one of the most well-rounded teams in the country. Only Alabama can match OSU in boasting a top-10 ranking in both total offense and total defense heading into the weekend, and the Buckeyes’ depth has even gotten tested with the decision to remain aggressive deep into lopsided wins. Ohio State has scored touchdowns in 18 of the 20 quarters it has played while getting off to a 5-0 start beating opponents by an average of 34 points. Even when the backups are in — which they will be in this game — the talent and motivation of this Ohio State program has risen to the occasion.  Michigan State will look to upset the Buckeyes’ rhythm and prove to be a tougher test than the oddsmakers are expecting. Crypto Mining Metrics Roundup: Bitcoin Production Slips In September, Hashrate Climbs – Seeking Alpha https://collincountynewsonline.com/crypto-mining-metrics-roundup-bitcoin-production-slips-in-september-hashrate-climbs-seeking-alpha/ luza studios Cryptocurrency miners saw a modest decline in the number of bitcoins (BTC-USD) mined in September vs. August, as an increase in the network hashrate and difficulty screamed trouble for profit margins. The so-called difficulty of mining is a closely watched metric in the crypto ecosystem. It measures how hard it is to mine a bitcoin (BTC-USD) block based on the amount of participants and computing power (hashing power) used to mine and secure the blockchain. A high difficulty (as a result of high hashing power), as is the case now, tends to lower miners’ profitability. Difficulty is currenting sitting around record highs at 31.36 trillion vs. 30.97 trillion a month ago, according to data from blockchain.com. The bitcoin (BTC-USD) network’s hashrate, which measures how much computing power is being used to process transactions on the blockchain, is standing at an all-time high of nearly 255 exahash per second, in a move that underscores margin compression in the mining industry, according to blockchain.com data. That’s up from 225 EH/s a month before. Despite a backdrop of a higher network hashrate and difficulty along with suppressed bitcoin (BTC-USD) prices, miners’ revenue has edged up in September, rising to $22.4M at the end of the month from $16.6M at the beginning of the month, as per blockchain.com data. Still, that’s down from $40.9M in the year-ago period. Overall, crypto miners’ bitcoin (BTC-USD) production ticked down 1.1% on average, while the hashrate jumped 10.6%, according to the table below. Some companies cited a shorter month as one of the key issues in less BTC production. Looking at the miners individually, Marathon Digital (MARA), CleanSpark (CLSK) and Iris Energy (IREN) were the only ones that produced more BTC than the prior month. Note the following miners have yet to report their September numbers: Hive Blockchain (HIVE), BitNile (NILE), Argo Blockchain (ARBK) and Greenidge Generation (GREE). Furthermore, most miners continued to sell their bitcoin (BTC-USD) holdings as capital dried up amid soaring power prices thus shrinking profit margins. During the month, Bitfarms (BITF) sold 544 BTC, Riot (RIOT) sold 300 BTC, CleanSpark (CLSK) sold 380 BTC, and Core Scientific (CORZ) sold 1,576 BTC. For Bitfarms (BITF), in particular, SA contributor Gary Bourgeault believes the company’s 10% drop in BTC production “may have been an anomaly.” “The key for BITF through the remainder of 2022 and early into 2023 will be the CPI release,” he added. “If things are shown to improve, high-growth assets are going to attract more investment, and BITF will benefit from that.” Take a look at the chart here to see how shares of miners have fared in September compared with bitcoin (BTC-USD). Biden Admin Says It Has Reunited 500 Migrant Families Separated At US Border During Trump-Era – Fox News https://collincountynewsonline.com/biden-admin-says-it-has-reunited-500-migrant-families-separated-at-us-border-during-trump-era-fox-news/ The Biden administration says that it has reunified 500 migrant families who were separated during the Trump administration’s “zero tolerance” policy that aimed to stop illegal immigration into the U.S. “This is a significant milestone that reflects the tireless dedication of the many public servants in the Department of Homeland Security and across the federal government, including those in the Departments of Health and Human Services, State, and Justice,” Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas said in a statement.  “It is a milestone that we could not have achieved without the partnership and critical work of several incredibly committed non-governmental organizations,” he said. Mayorkas said that nearly 200 minors are in the process of being united with their parents.  NYC MAYOR ADAMS SAYS MIGRANT INFLUX WILL COST CITY OVER $1 BILLION THIS YEAR U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas testifies before the Senate. ((Photo by Kevin Dietsch/Getty Images)) The Trump administration implemented the “zero tolerance” policy in 2018 to counteract a surge in illegal immigration at the border, prosecuting all illegal entries. However, accompanying children who came as part of a family unit could not be housed in adult detention centers with their accompanying adults. The Trump administration’s response was to separate the minors from their accompanying adults, placing them in Health and Human Services (HHS) care and allowing for detention and deportation of the adults. It was intended to dissuade migrant families from making the journey north in the first place. After outrage over the separations, President Donald Trump ended the policy. When the Biden administration took over, it pledged to make sure that any illegal immigrant who had been separated from their child is brought into the U.S. and reunited. To ensure this happens, it launched the Family Reunification Task Force. Those identified as eligible are brought in via a process called humanitarian parole. Travel is paid for, they can bring relatives and also live and work in the U.S. for three years on a renewable status. BIDEN PARDON FOR SIMPLE MARIJUANA POSSESSION WON’T APPLY TO ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS  In his statement, Mayorkas pledged that the Family Reunification Task Force’s work would continue. “The Task Force, through its partners, also continues to identify and engage families who were separated to ensure they are aware of the reunification process and the support the Task Force has arranged,” he said. “This support includes critically needed behavioral health services to assist the families in addressing the trauma they have suffered.” CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP Meanwhile, a lawsuit is still ongoing as illegal immigrants who were separated sue the U.S. over the policy. A prior settlement, which would have dished out up to $450,000 per person, was abandoned after it was leaked and caused outraged from Republicans. Kari Lake Was Booted From Arizona Town Hall Audience Before Hobbs Took The Stage NBC News
Kari Lake Was Booted From Arizona Town Hall Audience Before Hobbs Took The Stage NBC News
Kari Lake Was Booted From Arizona Town Hall Audience Before Hobbs Took The Stage – NBC News https://collincountynewsonline.com/kari-lake-was-booted-from-arizona-town-hall-audience-before-hobbs-took-the-stage-nbc-news/ Democrat Katie Hobbs won’t debate her opponent in Arizona’s race for governor, yet Republican Kari Lake tried to make it happen at a candidate town hall that organizers say she disrupted. Under the agreed-upon rules for the pre-recorded event, which was taped Monday and airs at 7 p.m. Saturday Arizona time, the candidates were not supposed to be onstage at the same time and Hobbs was supposed to go first. But a problem arose before Hobbs even took the stage: Lake was sitting in the front row, in a direct line of sight at where her opponent would sit. As a crowd of more than 200 watched, organizers said Lake was supposed to be in a hold room under the rules, a copy of which they refused to provide to NBC News. Lake protested, saying she was unaware of that rule and said Hobbs should come out and debate her. Hobbs didn’t. After several minutes, Lake complied, leaving behind her campaign surrogate, Mexican telenovela star Eduardo Verástegui. “Kari Lake brought along a Mexican telenovela star and she brought the drama. It was like a telenovela,” said Joe Garcia, an independent voter and the executive director of voter outreach for the group Chicanos Por La Causa Action Fund, which was a co-sponsor of the event along with the state and national Hispanic Chambers of Commerce. Garcia’s description of the scene matched the account of five eyewitnesses — including representatives from both campaigns — as well as video provided by Lake’s campaign that showed the Republican pleading her case with moderator León Krauze, a Univision News anchor, and event producer Mary Rabago. Garcia believes Lake’s actions were a stunt designed to rattle Hobbs, which he said appeared to work, because the Democrat gave an uneven performance in his view. Of Lake, Garcia said: “She rattled her opponent. She was big, brash, and very larger than life, Trump-esque. Anyone who thinks she was there to follow all the rules doesn’t know Kari Lake.” The scene was emblematic of the contrasting styles of Lake and Hobbs: Lake is a former local TV anchor, while Hobbs is the elected secretary of state in Arizona, one of the nation’s most competitive swing states. One observer of the town hall described the race as a clash between “an NPR Democrat and a Trump Republican.” Hobbs’ campaign said in September that debates were a no-go, pointing to Lake’s penchant for causing “chaos” and her embrace of false conspiracy theories of a stolen election. Lake has repeatedly called Hobbs a “coward” for her refusal to share the debate stage and points out that Hobbs also refused to debate Democratic primary rivals. Reached for comment about the incident, both campaigns issued statements to NBC News about the forum that echoed their candidates’ talking points about one another, with Lake questioning Hobbs’ courage and Hobbs denouncing Lake for causing chaos. TV viewers won’t be able to see the spectacle that unfolded at Monday’s forum. It was pre-recorded to give Univision time to translate the event into Spanish before it airs Saturday night. The English-language version is scheduled to be webcast online by Univision, which forbade audience members from recording the event on video. But Verástegui did uploaded video to social media of the pre-event back-and-forth between Lake, Krauze and Rabago, according to two sources who spoke on condition of anonymity because they weren’t authorized to discuss the matter on the record. The video was subsequently deleted from social media. Later, when Lake was onstage for her one-on-one with Krauze, an event staffer suspected the candidate’s husband was recording another video with her security volunteer, Scott Masino, a local sheriff’s deputy volunteering his time for the candidate who relayed the story to NBC News. Masino told NBC News they weren’t recording, but a Phoenix police officer was called over to make sure. “This is ridiculous,” Masino said. “She has a police officer watching a police officer to make sure that police officer doesn’t videotape when he’s not videotaping.” According to Masino, a different event staffer had told them that Lake couldn’t leave her green room until it was her turn to be on stage. Lake ignored the request and went to her seats in the front row ahead of the town hall’s start, which Masino said he picked because it was close to the aisle and an exit door — not because it put her potentially in Hobbs’ line of sight. But Garcia and another official from his group, Max Gonzalez, both said the rules of the town hall were “absolutely clear” and that Lake wasn’t supposed to be in the audience while Hobbs was onstage. “I can understand why, perhaps, Hobbs is hesitant to appear on stage with Lake. This was staged. This was planned,” said Gonzalez. The Lake campaign disputes the suggestion that the disruption was staged. Neither Gonzalez or Garcia negotiated the town hall’s terms with the campaigns and referred related questions to the event’s cosponsors at the state and national Hispanic Chambers of Commerce. Those organizations declined to comment, as did Univision. Another person, who was not authorized to speak on the record about the event confirmed Garcia’s account of the incident. The Hobbs campaign provided a pre-event email from the organizers that said “each candidate will have their own separate green room to prep and hold prior to going onto the main stage.” The Lake campaign said it did not receive the email and that the language about the hold room read like an offered amenity, not a demand she remain sequestered. The show got off to an awkward start when Krauze gave his introduction and welcomed Hobbs to the stage, the eyewitnesses told NBC News. But Hobbs didn’t come out. Instead, they said, Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce President Monica Villalobos came onstage to talk. Krauze, after putting his finger to his ear piece that was connected by remote to the control room, then told Lake she was supposed to leave the room. Lake initially refused and another staffer soon shot video of her that was provided to NBC News. “I would love to be on the same stage actually. Is that possible?” Lake asked. Krauze responded: “I know it would [be something you would want to do]. And I’m going to ask [Hobbs] about that. Trust me.” Lake said she wanted “a real debate” and Krauze repeated that he would ask Hobbs about it. “Unfortunately, you’re not going to be able to share the stage with Miss Hobbs,” he said, reminding Lake that she would join him later onstage. “I cannot invite her to the stage if you are in the audience. This is not me. This is the … the campaign agreement.” Lake then stood and partly faced the audience as a few people clapped, saying, “I’m happy to be here. I don’t think I should be trapped in my room. I’d love to be part of this. We should be talking about the issues that affect everyone … I want the people here to know I’m willing to sit on stage with Miss Hobbs and talk about the important issues.” Rabago then walked on stage and asked Lake to “do us the honor to go to your designated area…This is a town hall. That was the agreement that we have. I really want to make sure that the audience … can hear you both. So if you don’t mind — continue with our agreement. I would really appreciate it so we can respect the time of everyone.” More people applauded, and Lake said she was complying at that moment. “You will have plenty of time, I promise,” Rabago said. “We designated the same amount of time for both of you guys. We’re going to have you onstage. This is the opportunity for you guys to share your platform, your ideals … your vision. But please respect that agreement that we have.” Once she departed, the forum began.

Icelandair Adds Gran Canaria To Its Scheduled Route Network – AviationSource News https://collincountynewsonline.com/icelandair-adds-gran-canaria-to-its-scheduled-route-network-aviationsource-news/ LONDON – Iceland’s flag carrier Icelandair has announced the impending commencement of a regular scheduled service to Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands. Las Palmas, Gran Canaria will become the latest addition to Icelandair‘s route network, with the first scheduled flight on 15 November. Icelandair has previously offered non-scheduled charter flights for travel agencies and tour operators to Las Palmas, but this is the first time the airline operates scheduled flights to the Canary Islands destination. Flights will be on offer once a week from 15 November 2022 to 11 April 2023, with departure from Keflavik at 9:30 AM every Tuesday. Gran Canaria is the third biggest of the Canary Islands and packs everything needed for an ideal vacation, with endless sunshine, diverse landscapes, exciting ocean activities and relaxing beach escapes. With a population of 870,000, it is often described as a miniature continent because of its diverse flora and fauna, high mountain ranges, volcanoes, rivers and waterfalls, sand dunes, beaches, forests and wine yards. Bogi Nils Bogason, Icelandair CEO said: “We are excited to introduce Gran Canaria to our extensive Route Network, reaching 40 destinations in Europe and North America.” “Last year we added Tenerife to our schedule and we have received very good feedback from our customers. After the integration of Icelandair and tour operator VITA, new opportunities like these have emerged, which strengthens our route network and increases the service to our customers.” Icelandair September performance At the same time of the announcement of the new Gran Canaria service, the airline has also released its September performance data, which predictably shows firm comparative growth in passenger numbers. Icelandair posted a record load factor for September. In September 2022, the number of Icelandair‘s passengers was 387 thousand, compared to 212 thousand in September last year. The total load factor on international and domestic flights was 83.3%. The number of passengers was 86% of the September 2019 passenger numbers, while capacity reached 84% of 2019 levels. The number of passengers in Q3 2022 was more than double the number for the same period in 2021. The number of passengers on international flights was 362 thousand compared to 191 thousand in September 2021. The number of passengers to Iceland was 141 thousand and from Iceland 48 thousand. Via passengers were 173 thousand, or 48% of the international passengers. On-time performance on international flights was 71%. On-time performance was affected by several factors, mainly weather at Keflavik Airport and aircraft maintenance. The load factor on international flights was 83.4%, compared to 62% in September 2021. This is a record load factor for September. The number of passengers on domestic flights was around 25 thousand compared to around 21 thousand in September 2021. On time performance was 71% and was affected by a lack of aircraft due to aircraft maintenance. The load factor on domestic flights was 78.5% compared to around 71% in September 2021.

Howard County Team Competes In National 4-H Food Challenge Finals – SWARK Today – SWARK Today https://collincountynewsonline.com/howard-county-team-competes-in-national-4-h-food-challenge-finals-swark-today-swark-today/ LITTLE ROCK — A team of Arkansas 4-H members celebrated National 4-H Week by competing in the National 4-H Food Challenge finals and returning home with a sixth-place win. Adelene Westfall, Sarah Lamb, and Christian Trombley— competing as the “Seniors with Spatulas” — competed against 10 other teams from Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas and Wyoming at the competition, held Oct. 4 at the Texas State Fair in Dallas.  The Arkansas youth are members of the Howard County Teen Leader Club and longtime members of Arkansas 4-H. Westfall and Lamb, who attend Nashville High School, were part of the 2021 team that placed fifth at nationals last year. Trombley, a homeschooled student, joined the team this year. To qualify for the national competition, the teens won the Arkansas 4-H Food Challenge in August. “I’m super proud of them,” said Howard County Extension Agent Jean Ince, who coached the team and accompanied them to the competition. “They have all been cooking for a long time and still they learned so much.” Although they had hoped to win top honors, the trio felt good about their performance. “Our dish was good, and we did a good presentation,” Lamb said.  “We knew so much more this year than last year,” Westfall added. “We felt really good going into their competition.” The Food Challenge not only tests participants’ cooking skills, but also their knowledge about nutrition, health and food safety and their ability to effectively communicate as a team. During the competition, the teams had 40 minutes to prepare a dish using the main ingredient — which wasn’t unveiled until the start of the competition.  After plating their dish, teams had five minutes to present their dish to judges and discuss food preparation, safety concerns, serving size information, cost analysis and nutritional information. Judges considered appearance, quality, creativity, effective communication and teamwork when scoring.  For the past two months, the team has met weekly to practice their skills using different ingredients from the four groups: protein, grains, dairy, fruits and vegetables.  Mystery ingredients White beans were the star of the preliminary round. The Arkansas team created a soup using the canned beans, chicken broth, shredded chicken, cheese, chives, cumin and salt and garnished with tomato. Judges liked their soup well enough to advance the team to the final round where they were tasked with cooking with fresh mushrooms. The team created a Mediterranean-inspired dish using couscous, mushrooms, feta and vegetables. “I felt confident coming out of second round because we had worked with couscous and mushrooms before,” Westfall said. “We had previously made a recipe with eggplant and couscous, and when we saw there was couscous available, we swapped the eggplant for mushrooms.” Division of labor The teens spent the past few months practicing both their culinary skills and how to work as a team. Each had a defined role. Lamb — who her teammates call the ‘boss lady’ — took the lead in the recipe development and decided the menu with team input.  “My goal is always to have a bright, colorful, good-looking dish,” she said. Lamb frequently cooks for her family, competes in BBQ competitions and hopes to own a bakery one day.  Trombley — the team’s ‘wingman’ — functioned as the sous chef, chopping and mincing ingredients, prepping the work space and ensuring food safety. Westfall, a 4-H Ambassador and member of the state Healthy Living team, is considered the team’s scribe. She meticulously recorded the ingredients, proportions, nutritional content, serving size and notes needed for the team’s presentation to judges. Skills for a lifetime Healthy living is one of tenets of the 4-H program, which offers programs in nutrition, fitness, substance abuse, safety and social and emotional wellness. “We strive to equip young people with healthy living knowledge and skills to physically, emotionally, and socially prepare them to meet today’s challenges,” said Amanda Welch, a 4-H youth development associate for the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture. Welch coordinates the statewide 4-H Food Challenge.  Last year, Arkansas 4-H applied for and received a Healthy Habits grants from the National 4-H Council and Wal-Mart Foundation. “Most of the grant money went to counties to use for healthy living programs,” Welch said. “Howard County used grant money to purchase cooking utensils and supplies required for the competition.” The teens all said they enjoyed the experience. For Trombley, it was because of the “friendship and teamwork.” Lamb said she is more comfortable with public speaking because of the competition, and Westfall, who memorized nutritional value of foods for the competition, said that information will continue to help her.  “I’ve learned so much about our bodies and what they need to function that I never would’ve thought about before this challenge,” Westfall said. “It’s taught me a lot that I can use to improve my health and my family’s.” 4-H is the premier youth development program of the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture Cooperative Extension Service. Programs are offered in every county in Arkansas. To learn more about 4-H, contact your local Cooperative Extension Service agent or visit www.uaex.uada.edu. Georgia has produced at least 33 points four times while outscoring its opponents 195-54 this season. The team has yielded 22 points in each of its last two contests but ranks fourth in the nation with an average of 10.8 allowed. The Bulldogs are fifth in the country in total offense, gaining 521.4 yards per game, and rank eighth in passing with an average of 342.8 yards. Senior quarterback Stetson Bennett is coming off his third 300-yard performance of the year (312 against Missouri) and is 11th nationally with 1,536 yards through the air. Bennett also has been an effective part of Georgia’s ground attack as he is tied with junior running back Kendall Milton for the team lead with four rushing touchdowns. Why Auburn can cover  Even though they’ve lost their last seven visits, the Tigers own an 18-16 all-time record at Athens. They hope to start this matchup the same way they did against LSU last week, when they built a 17-0 lead before allowing 21 unanswered points. Freshman quarterback Robby Ashford was impressive in his second career start, throwing for 337 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Ashford completed only one of his first three pass attempts before hitting Ja’Varrius Johnson for a 53-yard TD just 2:03 into the contest. A junior wideout, Johnson leads Auburn with 16 catches and 305 receiving yards, gaining at least 73 in three of his four outings. Junior Tank Bigsby is the Tigers’ leading rusher with 326 yards and is tied with sophomore Jarquez Hunter for first with four touchdowns on the ground. Apples CEO Bashes The Metaverse And Nvidias CEO Embraces It: What It Means For Investors The Motley Fool
Apples CEO Bashes The Metaverse And Nvidias CEO Embraces It: What It Means For Investors The Motley Fool
Apple’s CEO Bashes The Metaverse, And Nvidia’s CEO Embraces It: What It Means For Investors – The Motley Fool https://collincountynewsonline.com/apples-ceo-bashes-the-metaverse-and-nvidias-ceo-embraces-it-what-it-means-for-investors-the-motley-fool/ On a recent trip to Europe, Apple (AAPL -3.67%) CEO Tim Cook spoke with Dutch online media company Bright to discuss the future of technology. In the interview, Cook downplayed the metaverse, instead touting Apple’s focus on augmented reality (AR). Cook said that one day, we will all “look back and think about how we once lived without AR.”   Meanwhile, Nvidia (NVDA -8.03%) spent an entire week at its biannual GTC event for tech developers, and the metaverse consumed a large amount of the time. In fact, CEO Jensen Huang talks about the metaverse a lot, and how it will shape the future.   What in the name of metaverse originator Neal Stephenson is going on here? These debates about what the metaverse actually is and what it will do are becoming silly. Not to mention confusing for investors, let alone the everyday consumer, who is already overwhelmed by the rapid changes the world has undergone in the last few years.  What is the metaverse anyway? If you do a web search for “What is the metaverse?” you’ll get as many variations on the answer as the times you click on an article (including one from yours truly). But let’s let Jensen Huang settle it once and for all. In his keynote address at GTC 2022, he provided perhaps the simplest and most elegant definition to date: The metaverse is “the 3D internet.”  I really appreciate this description. Rather than trying to reinforce this notion that the metaverse is confusing and that no one wants it (like Cook did in the above-mentioned interview), Huang breaks it down into simple terms. If some web-based service or app you use has a three-dimensional element to it, let’s just call it “the metaverse.”  Cook’s comments about AR are perhaps the best clue we have that Apple is readying some sort of device, perhaps AR or virtual reality (VR) headsets (maybe — there’ll be an announcement in 2023). But if we view the metaverse through Huang’s simple take, Apple is getting involved with the metaverse, too, whether it likes it or not. AR and VR applications will be web-based, and many AR apps are already available on the Apple App Store. I’m calling it like I see it: Apple Metaverse.   It’s all marketing! Elementary, my dear Watson. If you’re still with me, let’s turn to this question: Why all the tech CEO disagreements on what the metaverse is and what kind of future it will have? If the metaverse is just a 3D representation of the internet, a technology we all use every day and absolutely can agree has a well-established definition, why jockey for attention by bashing it? Or hype the metaverse like it’s this brand-new shiny thing that’s being built from scratch? It’s simple: marketing.  Like any good “walled garden” business, Apple has a vested interest in putting down other companies’ technology efforts while championing its own. After all, why would Apple use such a term when Meta (META -4.04%), formerly Facebook, literally changed its name to a contracted form of “metaverse” to indicate its 3D web app future? Apple has gone to great lengths to try to weaken Meta’s (ahem, Facebook’s) hold on its iPhone users’ data.  In contrast, like any good “platform” business model that helps others build tech for themselves, Huang is being inclusive and touting how the metaverse can mean different things for different consumers and businesses. Thus the term “Omniverse” for its new cloud-based collaboration and development apps. If you’re a video game company, the metaverse might mean an immersive 3D game. If you’re a manufacturing company, the metaverse might mean a virtual re-creation of your factory used for planning purposes. And if you’re a medical college, the metaverse might mean an AR app that trains students how to practice medicine.   Someday, hopefully soon, we can all agree to call the 3D extension of the internet the same thing. Maybe it will be “the metaverse,” maybe it will be something else (like “3D internet,” or, I dunno, maybe just “the internet”).  But one thing is for sure: This thing we’re discussing is already here, and new capabilities using 3D virtual content are being developed. Any differences you hear in what all this is and what it means from various CEOs’ perspectives is simply marketing to get us all ready to buy into it.  Now it’s time for you, the investor, to decide which businesses you like best to capitalize on 3D virtualization. I, for one, think Apple and Nvidia both are pretty good bets. Guide To Customize IOS 16 Home And Lock Screen Wallpaper – Gadgets To Use https://collincountynewsonline.com/guide-to-customize-ios-16-home-and-lock-screen-wallpaper-gadgets-to-use/ Apple’s latest iOS release has brought in a variety of new elements including popular custom wallpapers, that changes the look and feel of your iPhone. It also offers cool customizations like font styles, depth effects, and widgets. Today in this read, we’ll help you understand iOS 16 wallpapers with ease and customize the lock screen and home screen as per your taste. You can also refer to our guide on how to get iOS 16 lock screen on Android, to enjoy this with your Android (Green bubble) friends. Guide to iOS 16 Custom Wallpaper on Home and Lock Screen Below we have shared the complete guide to help you customize each element of the lock screen and home screen wallpaper on your iPhone running iOS 16. In-built Wallpapers on iOS 16 iOS 16 offers a variety of in-built wallpapers. These wallpapers are customizable within themselves and offer plenty of cool features to fiddle around with. Here’s how you can customize it: 1. Long tap or hold the lock screen, to see an array of wallpapers. 2. Tap the + icon from the bottom right to choose a new wallpaper. 3. Here you can choose from multiple wallpapers. Some wallpapers offer effects like the weather wallpaper offers dynamic effects based on location and time of the day. Wallpapers from Collections and Astronomy are some of my favorites. 4. Now, tap on your favorite wallpaper to customize it. 5. Alternatively, you can also access wallpapers from Settings Wallpaper Add New Wallpaper. Set Custom Wallpapers on iOS 16 iOS 16 offers you to add multiple lock screens, at once, allowing you to toggle them based on your mood and vibe. So If you would like to add an image from your last trip, or a picture of your loved one, instead of using the in-built wallpaper, it can be done as follow. 1. Long press the lock screen and tap the plus (+) icon, now click on the Photos tab from the top left corner. 2. Now, choose the picture you want to use as wallpaper and proceed to customize it. Once down, tap on Add to save the changes. If your photo has a different aspect ratio or is smaller than the screen size, you can follow our article to fit a square photo on the iOS 16 lock screen. Customizing iOS 16 Wallpaper – Custom Fonts Once you have applied the wallpaper on your iPhone’s lock screen running iOS 16, you can customize it further with your favorite font and color. Here’s how. 1. Go to the lock screen UI, and tap on Customize. 2. Now, tap the Clock on the lock screen. 3. A new pop-up will come up with a variety of different font styles and colors to choose from. 4. Choose your favorite font and adjust its colors according to your preference. Add Custom Widgets on iOS 16 With iOS 16, Apple has introduced widgets, to add a more personal touch to your iPhone directly from the lock screen. Here’s how to add widgets on the iOS 16 lock screen. 1. Tap on Add Widgets box, just below the clock and time on the lock screen. 2. Now, you can add up to four widgets from in-built widgets and add a custom widget for apps like Fitness, Snapchat, etc. 3. Once you have added your favorite widgets tap the cross button to close the tab. 4. You can also tap the calendar widget to customize and swap it with options like stocks, fitness, etc. Apply Wallpaper Filters While you get multiple font options for the clock, do you know that you can also add filters to your chosen iOS 16 lock screen wallpaper? Here’s how it can be done: 1. Swipe Left or Right while on the customization screen, to reveal and change the filters. 2. Now, you can pick the one that makes your wallpaper stand out. Currently, the iOS 16 lock screen supports four filters, namely Natural, Black and White, and Duo-Tone. More filters are expected to come in future software builds. Add Depth Effect to iOS 16 Lock Screen The Depth Effect on the iOS 16 lock screen is probably the most talked about feature and for good reasons. It magically sets the wallpaper on top of the time and clock of your lock screen to give a three-dimensional look. This is indeed magical because you do not need a portrait mode shot to achieve it. The phone itself is capable of recognizing, and mapping out the subject in the image, to put the time/clock behind it. Here’s how to use it: 1. Go to the customization screen. 2. Tap the three-dots icon from the bottom right of the screen. 3. Tap on Depth Effect to enable it. It has its limitations (like it only works on iPhones with an A12 Bionic chip and above) but works well on almost all wallpapers with a prominent subject – and it looks great! Note: For some wallpapers, you might need to manually adjust it, by pinch zoom for the depth effect to work properly. Home Screen Customizations on iOS 16 Once you have customized your iOS 16 lock screen, a prompt will ask you to either make it a home screen and lock screen pair or manually Customize your Home Screen. If you choose to manually customize your home screen, there are plenty of options to choose from. While they are not as extensive as the lock screen but are sufficient for a fresh new look. 1. After customizing the lock screen, tap on Done. 2. Tap on Customize Home Screen, from the pop-up menu. 3. Now you can choose to keep it original, apply a solid color, a gradient of colors, or even set a photo. 4. You can also set a Blur background if you happen to choose the lock screen wallpaper or set a picture from the gallery. Bonus: Quick Switch Between Customized Wallpapers Naturally, after making so many customizations, you might wish to save these for the future so that you can experiment with other wallpapers, without disturbing your current set of personalization. Thankfully, we now have an option to do so. Much like the Apple Watch, iOS 16 allows you to save multiple customized wallpaper sets and quickly access them. 1. Long hold on the Lock Screen. 2. Swipe left or right to access the wallpapers sets you have personalized so far. 3. Tap a wallpaper to quickly apply it – it’s that simple! 4. You can tap the plus (+) icon located on the bottom right, to add more Wallpapers. Wrapping Up So this was all about the iOS 16 wallpaper, and how you can customize the lock screen and home screen according to your preference. India Releases 50-Page CBDC Report Good Or Bad For The Countrys Crypto? Bitcoinist
India Releases 50-Page CBDC Report Good Or Bad For The Countrys Crypto? Bitcoinist
India Releases 50-Page CBDC Report – Good Or Bad For The Country’s Crypto? – Bitcoinist https://collincountynewsonline.com/india-releases-50-page-cbdc-report-good-or-bad-for-the-countrys-crypto-bitcoinist/ The CBDC report published by India’s central bank may not be good news for the Indian cryptocurrency market. Crypto was such a hit in India in 2021 that it made the country the fastest growing market for the asset class, surpassing the MENA region and even Europe. At one point, the country’s market jumped by 641% in just 12 months and was projected to surge even more. But everything changed in April this year as the government of India started to tighten its grip on crypto, imposing tax on transactions involving the asset which led to the collapse of local exchanges. Some thought this might have something to do with the nation’s plan to eventually have its own CBDC. Country officials said the move was made to provide a window for the formalization of cryptocurrencies but what it accomplished so far is to make crypto trading in India insanely expensive. But it turns out, the country is just starting to pound on digital assets and the Reserve Bank of India might just deliver the finishing blow. Reserve Bank of India Eyes CBDC It is no secret that the Reserve Bank of India has been eyeing to launch a project for its CBDC – a development which has now been confirmed by the bank’s FinTech Department report released on October 7. Both retail and wholesale variants of the CBDC is being considered by the financial institution for consumers and businesses as well as interbank and wholesale transfers. The report provided an insight as to how the process will unfold, starting with the building of the currency by technological partners selected by a working group. Once the CBDC is ready, it will be tested in a sandbox environment and will be exposed to stressful situations. The functionality and overall design of the digital currency will be assessed. If the designed CBDC passes all the testing, a pilot release will then follow. An Apparent Aversion To Cryptocurrencies For the development of both retail and wholesale variant of the CBDC, the RBI is making sure it can properly identify its owners or holders, much like the physical fiat money. This move seems to attack one of the selling points and advantages of digital currencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, among many others – privacy. Moreover, as the government recently imposed hefty taxes on crypto transactions in India, people there will be put into a position to instinctively choose the CBDC in order to avoid the taxes. “It is the responsibility of central bank to provide its citizens with a risk-free CBDC which will provide the users the same experience of dealing in currency in digital form, without any risks associated with private cryptocurrencies,” the RBI said in quotes by Reuters. India might not have made the move to ban cryptocurrencies altogether, but the CBDC report might be an indication that the country is slowly shutting the door on digital currencies not issued by its government. US VC Funding Is Holding Up, But Globally Things Are Far From Fair – TechCrunch https://collincountynewsonline.com/us-vc-funding-is-holding-up-but-globally-things-are-far-from-fair-techcrunch/ Hello and welcome back to The Exchange’s weekend missive. If you are reading this on TechCrunch and want to get the letter in your inbox, head here. Your regular host Anna Heim is off this week on a much-deserved vacation, so I’m stepping back into my old role as newsletter scribe. It’s good fun to write this note, frankly, so thanks for having me. Today we’re taking a look at the good news from the venture market we covered this week, but with an added global perspective. We’re broadening our lens a bit to get more general figures to better understand if the good news from the United States is holding up elsewhere. Call it a look abroad in Anna’s honor. To work! — Alex The Good In the United States, venture capital activity is holding up better than we anticipated. That’s good. Perhaps even better, venture interest in software startups is looking downright robust. That matters because most startups are software companies; if software startups are healthy, then upstart tech companies in general are doing OK. And given the United States’ weighty influence on startups overall, then startups must be OK everywhere, right?

Google AI Videos Point To A Machine-Generated Future HT Tech
Google AI Videos Point To A Machine-Generated Future HT Tech
Google AI Videos Point To A Machine-Generated Future – HT Tech https://collincountynewsonline.com/google-ai-videos-point-to-a-machine-generated-future-ht-tech/ AI researchers from Meta Platforms Inc. and Alphabet Inc.’s Google have taken an extraordinary leap forward. AI’s creative abilities are outstripping its driving skills. While self-driving car technology is going nowhere, there’s been a remarkable explosion in research around generative models, or artificial intelligence systems that can create images from simple text. In just the past week, AI researchers from Meta Platforms Inc. and Alphabet Inc.’s Google have taken an extraordinary leap forward, developing systems that can generate videos with just about any text prompt one can imagine. The videos from Facebook-parent Meta look like trippy dream sequences, showing a teddy bear painting flowers or a horse with distended legs galloping over a field. They last about one or two seconds and have a glitchy quality that betrays their source, but they’re still remarkable. The videos generated by Google, of coffee being poured into a cup or a flight over a snowy mountain, look especially realistic. Google has also built an even more impressive second system called Phenaki that can create longer videos, lasting two minutes or more. Here’s an example of the prompt Google used for one: ‘Lots of traffic in futuristic city. An alien spaceship arrives to the futuristic city. The camera gets inside the alien spaceship. The camera moves forward until showing an astronaut in the blue room. The astronaut is typing in the keyboard. The camera moves away from the astronaut. The astronaut leaves the keyboard and walks to the left…” That’s less than a third of the entire prompt, which reads almost like a movie script with commands such as “camera zooms in.” And here’s the resulting clip, posted on Twitter by Dumitru Erhan, one of Phenaki’s creators at Google Brain: You may be thinking this is the end of Hollywood as we know it or that anyone with a few brain cells and a computer will soon be able to produce feature-length films. That’s actually along the lines of what the researchers are hoping for. Erhan tweeted that he and his team wanted to empower people to “create their own visual stories… [to] make creativity for people easier.” It’s hard to see AI-generated videos coming to your local movie theater any time soon. But we’ll almost certainly see them being posted in our social media feeds, particularly on platforms like ByteDance Ltd.’s TikTok, Instagram’s Reels or YouTube. TikTok didn’t respond to a question about whether it is building its own AI video-generation tool, but it would make sense for the platform to do so. TikTok’s users love adding stickers, text and green screens to their posts, and the platform accommodates the demand with new tech. In August, it added an AI image generator to its app for creating stylized green screens. Type in a prompt like “Boris Johnson” and TikTok will bring up an abstract image vaguely reminiscent of the former British prime minister. What happens when machines not only recommend the videos that keeps us scrolling, but have a greater hand in creating them too? Many of us love to watch footage of cute cats and people tripping over themselves, so an algorithm that could produce fake montages of awkward stumbles or frisky kittens would attract viral hits with little work, so long as they appear real. Content creators on TikTok, and the platforms themselves, have every incentive to exploit a tool that can generate videos at scale, especially when it’s cheap and easy. For the rest of us, the result would be social media feeds that are more machine-driven than ever. Already powered by AI and recommendation algorithms, AI videos would add to the self-reinforced feedback loops that scratch our cognitive itches. The other looming consequence is a flood of misinformation, but there may be less need for alarm on that in the short term. Social media platforms have been heightening their efforts to weed out fake content, and both Google and Facebook are refusing to release their video-making tools to the public because of the potential for misuse (and presumably bad public relations). Google said that its own system generated videos that were biased against women even when they tried filtering out stereotyped results. The model or its source code won’t be released until the problem is fixed, Google researchers said. Of course, soon enough you’ll be able to use these tools with few restrictions anyway, thanks to organizations like Stability AI. The British startup released an image-generation tool last August that allowed anyone to generate cool art, as well as fake photos of celebrities, politicians and war zones, something larger AI companies have banned. I tried the tool and, in seconds, was able to cook up photos of former President Donald Trump playing golf with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Stability is working on a video-generation tool that it plans to release publicly when it’s ready. But while greater access to such tools will lead to more fake content, it will also mean more people are aware that the tools exist. They’re more likely to suspect that “photo” of President Joe Biden punching an old lady is AI-generated. That’s the hope, anyway. Just as concerning is what these tools will do to people’s daily diets of content. Google’s researchers contend that their tools will augment human creativity. But when it becomes so easy to make video that you barely have to think about it, is that really harnessing our imagination? Maybe not in every case. Coupled with the recommendation engines that drive so much of what we seen online, geared toward generating clicks, that makes our future look much more machine-directed — and, arguably, not very creative. Burn Ban May Be Renewed For Hunt County Herald-Banner
Burn Ban May Be Renewed For Hunt County Herald-Banner
Burn Ban May Be Renewed For Hunt County – Herald-Banner https://collincountynewsonline.com/burn-ban-may-be-renewed-for-hunt-county-herald-banner/ With drought conditions in Hunt County persisting, and with firefighters battling multiple blazes in recent days, the Hunt County Commissioners Court is considering renewing a ban on outdoor burning. “It is on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting,” said David Alexander of the Hunt County Fire Marshal’s Office. Alexander said there is no guarantee a burn ban will be re-implemented in Hunt County, “but they do want to discuss and consider it.” The meeting is scheduled at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Auxiliary Courtroom. An outdoor burn ban in Hunt County was placed into effect on July 5 due to extremely hot and dry conditions. The ban was lifted on Sept. 2 after a heavy showers and storms rolled through the area. Since then, however, no significant precipitation has fallen across the county. On Friday morning, the National Weather Service forecast was calling for only a slight chance of showers Wednesday of next week. In the meantime, Collin and Rockwall counties maintained their burn bans and Fannin County also added a ban on outdoor burning as the wildfire danger level continued to increase across the region. During the past two weeks, Hunt County fire departments and the Texas A&M Forest Service have been dealing with several major grass and structure fires, the largest occurring Thursday afternoon. The Lone Oak, Campbell, Cash and Greenville fire departments responded to a fire that eventually grew to multiple alarms on a property in the 5400 block of U.S. 69 in Lone Oak. Additional units came from Rains County to battle the fire, which destroyed two homes. No one was injured. The Texas A&M Forest Service reported that Hunt County and much of the surrounding area were listed under a “high” level of fire danger Thursday and Friday, with a forecast of a “very high” fire threat Saturday.

Crafting Culturally Meaningful Hawaii Visits Travel Weekly
Crafting Culturally Meaningful Hawaii Visits Travel Weekly
Crafting Culturally Meaningful Hawaii Visits – Travel Weekly https://collincountynewsonline.com/crafting-culturally-meaningful-hawaii-visits-travel-weekly/ Hawaii has made it clear that it wants a different type of traveler. It’s no longer about luring the masses but instead about attracting a responsible traveler, one who is open to learning about Hawaii’s history and culture and who wants to give back to the community. “Travel agents and tour operators play a vital role in helping us to get the kind of visitor we want,” said Malia Sanders, executive director of the Native Hawaiian Hospitality Association. “That responsibility, that kuleana, that is on that travel agency or tour operator is a burden; it’s heavy.” Sellers, she said, need to understand that if a local place in Hawaii wants a particular kind of guest, they have to ask themselves: Is this the right guest? Much of this shift is due to the resident sentiment toward tourism. In 2020, positive sentiment fell to its lowest level since 1988, according to a Honolulu Star-Advertiser report. Citing an OmniTrak survey of more than 1,700 residents statewide, it said 67% of respondents felt that the “island is being run for tourists at the expense of local people.”  With the Hawaii visitor industry evolving, it’s become important to create a travel itinerary that shows an awareness of the changes and a respect for residents’ desires.  Shift the perspective Changing the client’s mindset before booking a trip can go a long way. Try to eliminate the thought of “taking a vacation,” said Clifford Naeole, cultural advisor for the Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua. Clifford Naeole “When you say ‘take a vacation,’ that means you’re already coming to possess something. You’re almost entitled to grab something,” he said. “But to come and have a ‘vacation visit,’ it’s much more humble.” This approach allows for an open mind that can result in more valuable experiences, like those highlighted in the Hawaii Tourism Authority’s Malama Hawaii Program at gohawaii.com/malama or travel2change.org. These experiences enable visitors to take part in community efforts that include restoring a fishpond or replenishing native plants in a rainforest. “If a visitor wants to experience something cultural, what better way to do that than to actually put them in a cultural element with a community-based, nonprofit that’s already doing that work [and] has the capacity to host them?” Sanders said. “I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with sitting on the beach and just enjoying the scenery,” she added. “There certainly isn’t anything wrong with that, but I think most people come for an experience.” Some hotels, like the Ritz-Carlton Maui, have their own volunteer programs for guests, who “can learn about the forest, learn about the spirituality of the place while leaving a legacy of their own,” said Naeole. “These are things that can last a lifetime in the mind of a visitor and create a lifetime of contributions for the host.” Educate visitors and be willing to learn Rick Barboza of Papahana Kuaola guides volunteers with at Hui Ku Maoli Ola, a native plant nursery on the Big Island of Hawaii. Photo Credit: Hawaii Tourism Authority/Heather Goodman Visiting with intention can produce an experience that’s mutually beneficial to the traveler and to the host. It’s also about seeking knowledge of a place’s history. This is something visitors can learn on their own before the trip, or travel advisors and tour operators can educate and encourage preparation before or on the trip. Related: Learning all about aloha For example, nearly a million people visit the dormant Haleakala volcano on Maui every year, and many of them are there to view the sunrise with no other purpose but to see its beauty. If they know that the top of Haleakala is considered by Hawaiians to be the sacred realm of the gods and where the demigod Maui lassoed the sun, such a visit could unlock a much deeper understanding. Another popular Maui activity is whale-watching. Similar to a Haleakala visit, it helps to look at the experience from a Hawaiian point of view. For Hawaiians, whales aren’t just a spectacle. “It wasn’t just about the oohs and aahs and jumping up and down, but how kind it is, how swift it is and how powerful it is, so to admire all aspects of the whale. … [Hawaiians] observed everything about whatever they were studying,” said Naeole. “It comes down to research or speaking to practitioners before coming to the Islands to understand the spirituality and the emotion of the place.” If in doubt, Naeole advises reaching out to any cultural advisor in Hawaii for advice and to ask questions. Several resorts, such as the Ritz-Carlton Maui, Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa and Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa, have cultural centers or cultural advisors — or both.  From our archives: Cultural specialist focuses on community connections Find an event to build a trip around Planning a trip around a volunteer program is an effective way for visitors to be immersed within the community and offers greater opportunities to learn and give back. Cultural events or festivals can also be used as the centerpiece of an itinerary, such as the Celebration of the Arts, which the Ritz-Carlton Maui hosts annually. “It’s three days of pure Hawaiian art, pure Hawaiian discussion and pure Hawaiian tradition and ceremony,” Naeole said.  Keeping in mind this reciprocal element of giving back while being on a vacation will help with planning the respectful itinerary that many Hawaiians prefer. But it all starts with wanting to evolve with Hawaii’s tourism industry. “Do research, come around an event that involves as much of Hawaii as possible, and then learn from that,” Naeole said. “From that point on, when you go home, you become a partner in the future of Hawaii.”

VIETNAM BUSINESS NEWS OCTOBER 8 VietNamNet
VIETNAM BUSINESS NEWS OCTOBER 8 VietNamNet
VIETNAM BUSINESS NEWS OCTOBER 8 – VietNamNet https://collincountynewsonline.com/vietnam-business-news-october-8-vietnamnet/ Major tasks and solutions outlined to develop science-technology market Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has asked the Ministry of Science and Technology as well as ministries, sectors and localities to focus on six major tasks and solutions to promote the growth of the science-technology market in a synchronous, effective, modern and integrated manner. In a notification on the conclusion of the PM at a recent conference on the development of the science and technology market, the Government leader underlined the need to remove difficulties and bottlenecks in terms of institution, mechanism and policy to boost the market. Ministries, sectors and localities should associate tasks and plans to develop the science and technology market with their socio-economic development plans in five years and each year, he requested, asking them to encourage the research and renovation of technologies and the settlement of environmental and climate change issues, and promote digital transformation and green growth. Along with continuing to effectively implement solutions given in the national programme on the development of science and technology market until 2030, it is necessary to synchronously develop the national infrastructure system serving the science and technology market, while strengthening the connectivity between central agencies and localities, and among research institutes, training facilities, businesses and the people, the PM stressed. He also ordered the gradual integration of domestic and international technical platforms on science and technology, along with the strengthening of personnel training for the science-technology sector, the increase of communications and the expansion of pioneering firms in trading of technologies, especially high and source technologies. Alongside, it is crucial to connect and synchronise the science-technology market and other markets such as commodity, service, labour and financial markets, while fostering public-private partnership to mobilise resources from businesses and the community to develop the science-technology market, the PM asked. Other solutions include the building and pilot of policies motivating the commercialisation of research outcomes, the encouraging of businesses to import core technologies, and the building of policies to encourage startup and innovation and the development of big data, shared data and information to promote the growth of the science-technology and startup ecosystem in a comprehensive and synchronous manner. Excise tax abolition proposal for gasoline rejected The Ministry of Finance has rejected a proposal to drop the special consumption tax on gasoline, saying the tax rate is not high and adding that the issue is beyond the ministry’s authority. The special consumption tax rate on gasoline in Vietnam is currently far lower than that of neighboring countries such as Laos, Cambodia and China, the Ministry of Finance said, explaining its decision. The special consumption tax, or the excise tax, is 10% for gasoline, 8% for gasoline E5 and 7% for gasoline E10. Additionally, the Law on Special Consumption Tax does not prescribe any conditions for exemption or reduction of the excise tax on goods and products subject to the tax. The ministry’s decision was in response to a proposal to exempt oil products from the tax made by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The ministry also clarified that the adjustment of the special consumption tax is under the authority of the National Assembly. Thus, the proposal must be submitted to the National Assembly, not the ministry, for consideration. Moreover, the ministry considered gasoline a non-renewable resource that needs to be used wisely and sparingly. That means it is reasonable to impose a special consumption tax on gasoline. According to the draft resolution of the National Assembly, the special consumption tax and value-added tax on fuels will be reduced by 50% at the maximum. The National Assembly Standing Committee will determine the specific reduction of the special consumption tax on gasoline and the value-added tax on fuels, as well as the time of application amid the global fuel price fluctuations. Labor market bounces back The labor market continued its strong growth momentum of the previous quarter as the employment rate in the year to September soared, the General Statistics Office reported on October 6. It had around 50.8 million employed workers aged 15 and older in the third quarter, 255 thousand people higher than the figure in the second quarter and soaring 3.5 million over the same period last year. In January-September, employed people of statutory working age totaled 50.5 million, up 1.5 million over the year-ago period. The period witnessed more and more people leaving their hometowns for cities. The urban labor force in the first nine months reached 18.7 million people, up 1.1 million year-on-year. The service sector attracted the most workers, with 39% of the workforce, or some 19.7 million workers, going into it, a year-on-year increase of nearly 900,000 workers. The construction and industry sectors came second, accounting for a third of the total with 16.9 million workers, up 726.8 thousand year-on-year. The rest worked in the agricultural, forestry and fishery sectors, down 162.2 thousand people year-on-year. The labor force participation rate in the year through September was 68.5%, up 0.9 percentage points compared to the same period last year, while the trained workforce remained unchanged, estimated at 13.5 million people. On the other hand, nearly 1.08 million people of working age were jobless between January and September, down 251 thousand people over the same period of 2021. The unemployment rate in the nine-month period stood at 2.35%, a decline of 0.64 percentage points versus the same period last year. The number of unemployed people aged 15 to 24 was estimated at 413 thousand, making up 37.5% of jobless people aged 15 and older. Binh Duong to have freeze-fried instant coffee plant ILD Coffee Vietnam, a joint venture between Louis Dreyfus Company and Poland’s Instanta, is seeking support from the Binh Duong Province authorities to build a freeze-fried instant coffee plant in the southern province’s Ben Cat Town. Bui Minh Thanh, secretary of the Ben Cat Party Committee, yesterday, October 6, received and worked with Alexander Nowakowski, secretary at the Polish Embassy in Hanoi and head of the ILD Coffee Company, the local media reported. Speaking at the working session, Nowakowski said the infrastructure system in the province is adequate, adding that the local authorities have created favorable conditions for businesses. Many Polish companies have invested in Binh Duong and given positive feedback on the investment environment in the province, the Polish official said. According to him, the ILD Coffee Company plans to develop the freeze-fried instant coffee plant at the Protrade international industrial park in Ben Cat Town, with a total investment of over US$80 million. Dr Ashish Dwivedi Explains Connection Between Gym And Heart Attack – Zee News https://collincountynewsonline.com/dr-ashish-dwivedi-explains-connection-between-gym-and-heart-attack-zee-news/ Exercise: How, what and how much? The role of exercise in health is undisputed, but how, when and how much is very important; especially in heart disease. Exercise paired with a healthy diet and avoiding smoking is a simple measure of heart health. In some cases, exercise can be as powerful as medicine.1 Exercise helps heart health in the following ways:1 Reduces blood pressure Ensures healthy body weight Strengthens muscles Improves the circulation of blood in the body, reducing the load on the heart Stops or delays the development of diabetes Decreases risk of stroke, blood clots Lowers bad cholesterol and increases good cholesterol Reduces stress, making you feel good Decreases inflammation which affects several body systems However, pushing too hard is a bad idea. Research shows that exercising more than the recommended guidelines can lead to major health issues.3 Besides, the exercise regimen should be carefully chosen based on your health and physical conditions. Therefore, consult a doctor/physical trainer before you start an exercise routine. Exercise, how? First thing is to make a start and get more active. Choose an activity that you enjoy. Ensure you wear comfortable clothes and footwear. Schedule exercise in your daily timetable. Exercise with your friends and family. Maintain an exercise log and track progress. Do not exercise when you are sick or for a few days following sickness – give time for your body to recover.2 Exercise, what? Anything that makes you move and burn calories is exercise. It could be as simple as doing household work or climbing stairs. However, aerobic (or “cardio”) activity puts your heart and lungs at work and improves your fitness. The following table gives you a list of different types of aerobic exercises one can do (again, you need to talk to your doctor before starting any).4 Exercise, how much? About 150 minutes per week of moderate exercise or 75 minutes per week of vigorous exercise are recommended for healthy living. Moderate exercise for 30 min a day for 5 days a week is often sufficient to achieve optimal health benefits. Vigorous exercise can be limited to just 3 days a week as there are chances of injury.2 Exercise slowly for the first five minutes; it helps the heart rate increase gradually, the body to loosen and increases blood flow to muscles. Then perform your exercise routine, and at the end, cool down for 5 min to allow your heart rate to come back to resting levels and temperature to normal. Ensure you are well hydrated. During the initial days, start with low-intensity exercise and then gradually increase the intensity as your body starts accepting and adjusting to the exercise. Also, increase the duration of exercise gradually. Red flags Stop exercising when you have chest pain; heaviness in the chest; fatigue; neck, upper back and jaw pain; and light-headedness or dizziness. Also, ensure your surroundings are safe. Nabers22 REC, 282 YD, 1 TD See New Posts Pinned Pinned First play LSU fumbled the opening kickoff and Tennessee fell on it. What a disaster start for the Tigers. It was a short kick down the sideline. The returner tried to field it on the run, failed to do so and the Tennessee player did a nice job of falling on the football before it went out of bounds. Pinned Pinned Here we go About set for kickoff of the first Tennessee vs. LSU game played in Baton Rouge since 2010. A lot has changed for both programs since then. The Volunteers haven’t been ranked any higher than they are now since 2006. LSU’s seen some really high highs, but the Tigers also bottomed out last year and have a new coach in Brian Kelly. Winner all the sudden looks like a national player. Pinned Pinned Pinned Pinned Pinned Pinned Pinned Quarterback battle Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker is largely responsible for the Volunteers’ No. 1-ranked offense, but his counterpart is still figuring things out. LSU’s Jayden Daniels hasn’t thrown an interception this season, and he is completing 67.9% of his passes and has 321 yards rushing as a true dual-threat quarterback. But he was also just 8 of 20 for 80 yards against Auburn last week and hasn’t fully clicked with Boutte. LSU’s passing offense ranks 68th in the country and Daniels has just one passing touchdown in his last three games. Playing the Volunteers could be exactly what he needs to get on track. Tennessee ranks 128th in passing yards allowed per game at 309.2. in a 38-33 win over Florida two weeks ago, Tennessee allowed Gators quarterback Anthony Richardson to throw for 453 yards, which surpassed his previous career-high by more than 200 yards. As a freshman at Arizona State in 2019, Daniels threw for 2,943 yards and had seven performance of 250 yards or more. If he’s going to find that form again, this could be the week to start. Pinned Pinned Pinned Pinned Pinned Gerald Mincey out Tennessee left tackle Gerald Mincey will be unavailable today, per multiple reports. LSU is also without its starting left tackle, Will Campbell, today. Good day to be a defensive end in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Whoever handles the disruptions along their offensive line will have a clear leg up. Both quarterbacks are mobile, so that helps. But far from ideal for both teams. Pinned Flashback The last time these teams met at Tiger Stadium in 2010, a particularly wild ending unfolded that might be painful for Tennessee fans to relive. LSU fans likely have fond memories, though, considering the Tigers escaped with a 16-14 victory following an untimed down after it appeared the Volunteers had stuffed LSU on the game’s final play. The only problem was that, amid the frenzy of the game’s final seconds, Tennessee wound up with too many players on the field. So even though a botched snap ruined the Tigers’ chances of scoring a game-winning touchdown, they got the chance to run another play from the 1-yard-line. From there, Stevan Ridley punched it in for a touchdown. The loss came to be viewed as a microcosm of Tennessee coach Derek Dooley’s three-year tenure, and it started a four-game losing streak for the Volunteers. LSU went on to finish 11-2 with a Cotton Bowl victory. Pinned Pinned Kayshon Boutte Brian Kelly has repeatedly found himself answering questions this season about Kayshon Boutte. Ranked No. 10 in CBS Sports’ 2023 NFL Draft Prospect Rankings, the former five-star has just 11 catches for 97 yards in four games this season. Boutte missed the Tigers’ win over New Mexico for the birth of his child, but that one-game absence only partially explains why the star junior ranks just fourth on the team in receptions and sixth in yards. “Would he like the ball more? Absolutely,” Kelly said, “but he’s handled himself in the right way and he continues to work for the team.” Pinned Pinned Pinned Will Campbell out LSU left tackle Will Campbell will not play today, according to multiple reports. A team spokesperson said he was treated for dehydration. Campbell posted a photo from the hospital last night, so thankfully it doesn’t appear to be anything terribly serious. Nevertheless, the Tigers will have a hole to fill up front as they take on Tennessee. Pinned Pinned Pinned Cedric Tillman out This was widely expected after he underwent surgery for an ankle injury suffered in Week 3 against Akron, but it’s clear now that Tennessee star wide receiver Cedric Tillman will be out today against LSU. The Volunteers beat Florida without him and will have to find a way to cope without him again today. He was a limited participant in practice this week and the Vols will hope to have him back for Alabama next week. Pinned

Hyperspace Defines The Future Of Identity In The Metaverse With 3D Avatars – Digital Journal https://collincountynewsonline.com/hyperspace-defines-the-future-of-identity-in-the-metaverse-with-3d-avatars-digital-journal/ Phoenix, Arizona, United States, 8th Oct 2022, King NewsWire, Hyperspace, an intuitive, drag-and-drop “no code” metaverse platform, is shaping the future of identity in the metaverse with 3D avatars. The user-friendly Hyperspace platform uses a proprietary technology called Universal Avatars to power their 3D avatars and users’ metaverse identities that can be used throughout various virtual worlds and websites. Universal Avatars are optimized to perform at scale so thousands of Avatars can visit the same virtual places. The system, which does not require any specific device or software download, allows users to sign in using an email and password, a LinkedIn account, or what’s known in enterprise, government and education as – SSO (single sign-on) option. This means that users can sign in with credentials from their organization with their identity attached to their avatar, allowing them to take that avatar to meetings, a series of virtual events from different organizations, immersive training experiences, or anywhere else within the metaverse. The avatars can also be used for AI chatbots and customer service support purposes. Hyperspace avatars are completely customizable, with over one billion style combinations. Users can choose their avatar’s physical appearance, clothing, movement, embodiment, and lifelike gestures and expressions. The customizable 3D avatars help create a sense of co-presence, which allows for shared experiences that can lead to a sense of community, and belonging. Lifelike gestures and postures such as hugs, high-fives, and handshakes that accompany the 3D avatar help with self-expression and allow more meaningful engagement beyond simple emojis.  “As virtual worlds become more popular, there has been a lot of discussion about what type of identity to use in these virtual spaces.  In a continuously increasing digital world, we’re craving connection and personality. We want to see people in a real-life context. It’s meaningful—and that’s exactly what 3D avatars offer. They allow your audience to completely immerse themselves in your world. And it all starts with customizations, options to personalize it and make it truly their own. Hyperspace has created a form of identity expression in the metaverse unlike any other,” stated Danny Stefanic, CEO of Hyperspace.       “Using Universal Avatars, you can take your identity everywhere, across experiences. I believe that is really important for creating a truly interconnected metaverse that allows your digital twin to seamlessly interact with people, places and things in the virtual realm. These unique, customizable 3D Avatars can be used to fully enhance presence within the metaverse, especially during virtual events, learning and development training, meet-ups, support and sales, and even medical and patient care,” added Stefanic. Hyperspace gives metaverse users the ability to accelerate their business into the metaverse and drive deeper connections through shared immersive experiences. The intuitive platform can be used for events, training, marketing, or remote work. The Universal Avatars will allow users to fully take charge of their identities when in the metaverse and customize their Avatar with job specific clothing options, hair, makeup, and more. With the 3D avatars from Hyperspace, metaverse users can take digital communication and identity to the next level with the ability to convey verbal and nonverbal communication with their digital twins.A high degree of customizability allows attendees to create 3D avatars representing who they are and how they self-identify.  To learn more about Hyperspace, go to www.hyperspace.mv.    Media Contact Organization: Hyperspace Contact Person: Media Relations Email: [email protected] Website: https://hyperspace.mv City: Phoenix State: Arizona Country: United States The post Hyperspace Defines the Future of Identity in the Metaverse with 3D Avatars appeared first on King Newswire. China Lashes Out At Latest US Export Controls On Chips Voice Of America VOA News
China Lashes Out At Latest US Export Controls On Chips – Voice Of America – VOA News https://collincountynewsonline.com/china-lashes-out-at-latest-us-export-controls-on-chips-voice-of-america-voa-news/ Beijing —  China Saturday criticized the latest U.S. decision to tighten export controls that would make it harder for China to obtain and manufacture advanced computing chips, calling it a violation of international economic and trade rules that will “isolate and backfire” on the U.S. “Out of the need to maintain its sci-tech hegemony, the U.S. abuses export control measures to maliciously block and suppress Chinese companies,” said Foreign Ministry representative Mao Ning. “It will not only damage the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese companies, but also affect American companies’ interests,” she said. Mao also said that the U.S. “weaponization and politicization” of science and technology as well as economic and trade issues will not stop China’s progress. She was speaking after the U.S. on Friday updated export controls that included adding certain advanced, high-performance computing chips and semiconductor manufacturing equipment to its list, as well as new license requirements for items that would be used in a supercomputer or for semiconductor development in China. The U.S. said that the export controls were added as part of ongoing efforts to protect U.S. national security and foreign policy interests. U.S.-China relations have deteriorated in recent years over technology and security issues. The U.S. has implemented a raft of measures and restrictions designed to prevent China from obtaining chip technology, while China has earmarked billions for investment into the production of semiconductors. The tensions have impacted semiconductor companies in the U.S. and globally which either export chips or manufacture chips in China. Semiconductor companies such as Nvidia and AMD have seen a 40% decline in stock price over the past year. “We understand the goal of ensuring national security and urge the U.S. government to implement the rules in a targeted way—and in collaboration with international partners—to help level the playing field and mitigate unintended harm to U.S. innovation,” the Semiconductor Industry Association, which represents U.S. semiconductor industry, said in a statement.

Tech Earnings To Show If ‘awful Few Months’ Will Linger Into Next Year – Seeking Alpha https://collincountynewsonline.com/tech-earnings-to-show-if-awful-few-months-will-linger-into-next-year-seeking-alpha/ oatawa With the next big round of tech earnings on the horizon, Wall Street is already preparing itself for a raft of quarterly reports that reflect a sense of negativity unlike any seen in the sector in more than a decade. A combination of the Federal Reserve’s mixed efforts to tamp down inflation, ongoing evidence that a recession could be on the way and spending reductions by both consumers and enterprises has resulted in months of weakness across the tech sector. For example, in the last week of September alone, tech bellwethers such as Intel (NASDAQ:INTC), Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ:AMD), Alphabet (GOOG) and Meta Platforms (META) all saw their shares fall to 52-week-lows, and are now just barely above those ignoble levels. “Outside of the last few days, it’s been an awful few months for tech stocks,” said Wedbush analysts Dan Ives and John Katsingris, in a research report that looks at what to expect from tech stocks in the upcoming earnings season. “To this point, we are entering a crucial third-quarter earnings season.” The situation is sideways now that Ives and Katsingris said, “Any positive news is negative news in this market, and bad news is perceived as Armageddon, and thus takes down tech stocks in a heartbeat.” Ives and Katsingris said that not all news has been back for tech stocks, and that industry checks show enterprise software and cyber security shares are “holding up well”. And it should come as no surprise that some of the “favorite” companies currently in software include such usual suspects as Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) and Salesforce (CRM). The analysts also cite Palo Alto Networks (PANW), Fortinet (FTNT) and CyberArk (CYBR) among their top cybersecurity picks. When it comes to their overall favorite tech company, Ives and Katsingris said Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) is at the top of mountain. Regardless of the company involved, Ives and Katsingris said that many eyes will be trained on the status of enterprise spending budgets and their impact on sales growth. “This is the big question,” the analysts said. “It’s easy to punt on discretionary projects and tighten IT budgets as darker storm clouds approach into 2023.” The analysts added that so much negativity this year has created a situation that is difficult for investors to get enthusiastic, and such sentiment may last for months to come. Ives and Katsingris said the earnings reports that are set to roll in over the next month “will either expose the negative underlying fundamentals across the tech space and cause massive earnings cut into 2023” or prove that the recent negativity about “the demise of growth tech was premature and many pockets of tech are holding up well.” One of the sectors likely to see a strong impact from the status of enterprise budgets is semiconductors, where leaders such as Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Nvidia (NVDA) have recently been bruised due to concerns about spending among data center customers.

Star Clippers: A Unique Eco-Friendly Way For Adventure Travelers To Sail Forbes
Star Clippers: A Unique Eco-Friendly Way For Adventure Travelers To Sail Forbes
Star Clippers: A Unique, Eco-Friendly Way For Adventure Travelers To Sail – Forbes https://collincountynewsonline.com/star-clippers-a-unique-eco-friendly-way-for-adventure-travelers-to-sail-forbes/ Star Clippers Star Clippers is a unique sailing experience reminiscent of the golden age of sailing, but with all the modern amenities of a private yacht. It combines off-the-beaten-path destinations—they sail to the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Central America, Asia and the South Pacific—and exploration of different cultures and histories while still having the unique experience of tall ship sailing. “Of course, the past two and half years have been a challenge for the entire travel industry. But being a small ship company sailing to remote places, offering a lot of open deck space and being sustainable are big advantages in today’s environment and we’re very positive about what’s to come,” says Mirell Reyes, President, Star Clippers Americas. Exploring Costa Rica getty Costa Rica is one of the most popular itineraries—and the seven-night sailings along the Pacific coast also call on ports in Nicaragua and Panama. There are plenty of opportunities to explore the destination in an active-adventure way. In Quepos, travelers can explore Manuel Antonio National Park consisting of tropical rainforests and more than one thousand species of flora. On Isla Tortuga, a dreamy island paradise fringed with tall coconut palms, sugary white sand beaches and emerald waters, travelers can snorkel and explore the variety of marine life found here. Some favorite excursions on the Costa Rican sailings include zipline canopy tours, soaking in Vandará Hot Springs, an eco-hike in the Mombacho Reserve and a visit to the cloud forest. Traveling with Kids getty Costa Rica’s diverse geography makes it an ideal vacation destination for families, as there’s plenty to explore and many opportunities to learn about the natural environment. More than half a million species of flora and fauna inhabit the country’s rainforests, where kids can look out for monkeys, sloths, brightly colored tree frogs or one of more than 800 tropical bird species in their natural habitat. The beaches of Costa Rica present opportunities for snorkeling and even the possibility of spotting humpback whales. Older kids will love flying through the rainforest by zip-line or rappelling down the face of a waterfall. Visiting Costa Rica onboard Star Clipper sailing allows families to choose a different adventure in each port or to spend the day playing on the beach. Onboard, older kids can partake in mast climbing, learn to tie sailor knots, or hang out in the bowsprit netting watching for dolphins. Life Aboard the Star Clippers Star Clipper On all the ships, travelers are allowed (and encouraged) to climb the mast to the crow’s nest. At 75 feet above water level, the crow’s nest offers an incredible view of the ship’s top deck as well as the scenery beyond. Guests are also encouraged to attend knot-tying or help with the rigging to learn about the process of sailing. A favorite spot on any Star Clippers ship is the bowsprit netting, where guests can lay out with the ocean beneath them. The lengthy bowsprit stretches 30-feet forward of the bow and is open to passengers during the day. The hammock-like netting is suspended over the water and can be a place of excitement or reflection depending on the traveler. Three Ships Utilizing the Wind Star Clippers All three of the tall ships—Star Clipper, Star Flyer, and Royal Clipper—are modern, authentic sailing ships and itineraries are created using wind charts to ensure the ships can move under the power of wind as much as possible. A popular experience is being on the top deck for sail away and watching the nautical crew raise the sails. Royal Clipper, the largest in Star Clippers’ fleet at 439 feet, holds the Guinness Book of World Records for being the largest, five-rigged, square-masted sailing ship in service, with 42 sails totaling 54,000 square feet. The ship carries 227 guests and features three swimming pools, a full-service spa, and a marina platform on the back of the ship that can be lowered when the ship is docked to offer travelers access to water sports like snorkeling, kayaking and wind surfing free of charge. Star Clipper and Star Flyer are sister ships with identical deck plans. Each feature more than 36,000 square feet of sails and carry 166 guests. The outdoor tropical bar is a favorite gathering place for guests, and two pools on the top deck are ideal for soaking in the sun. The interiors of all three ships feature polished brass and mahogany, lending to the feeling that you are sailing on an authentic clipper ship. Taveling on a Sailing Vessel Star Clipper Star Clippers ships are true sailing vessels, and as such they are a unique way to cruise. “Travelers often remark on how friendly and approachable the crew members are, which can come as surprise to cruisers used to the ‘upstairs downstairs’ hierarchy on large ships,” says Mirell Reyes, President, Star Clippers Americas The line has an open bridge policy and passengers are welcome to drop by and chat to the captain and duty officers at any time, except when the ship is maneuvering in and out of port. “One of the statistics we’re very proud of—and which I think speaks for itself—is that more than 60% of guests take a second Star Clippers sailing within the first year,” says Reyes. Eco-friendly Travel “Star Clippers ships are naturally green,” says Reyes. “They operate under wind power as much as possible, which translates to less fuel used. In the Caribbean, the ships operate under wind power up to 70% of the time, thus minimizing use of auxiliary engines. Sailing versus a motor cruising means substantially lower fuel consumption and emissions. Star Clipper and Star Flyer use very pure, high-quality low sulfur gas oil for which the company was awarded the International Air Pollution Prevention Certificate.” What’s Next Star Clippers The possibility of adding a new ship will always be on the horizon, especially with the high demand in the Mediterranean. We are offering our beautiful sailing yachts worldwide and will continue to do, focusing on growing in markets that are up and coming. “With over 60% repeat passengers coming back within one year, we have to be creative when it comes to our itineraries,” says Reyes. “We will continue to offer new places no other cruise lines can get to, creating unique itineraries for our well-traveled guests.” Covid and Cruising “There’s no question the global pandemic caused major changes to the industry, and the need to be flexible, fluid, nimble and patient has never been more important,” says Reyes. He explains that moving forward, it’s essential that they remain apprised of the evolving protocols and restrictions in the countries Star Clippers visits so we can adapt our processes and offer our guests peace of mind when booking and traveling. Keeping a strong focus on communications with our guests allows them to make the best possible travel decisions based on their comfort levels. Says Reyes: I believe the trend toward small ship cruising—which was growing pre-pandemic—is going to continue. Guests are looking for safety with smaller numbers of people and more space per guests on board. Small ship sailing also allows for experiential travel—another trend we see increasing. Unlike large ocean liners, our ships stop in small ports and disembarkation is not drawn-out process—guests can simply walk off the ship and enjoy exploring each port as they wish.”

Chamber Golf Tournament Combines Business With Friendly Golf Competition – LaGrange Daily News https://collincountynewsonline.com/chamber-golf-tournament-combines-business-with-friendly-golf-competition-lagrange-daily-news/ Published 9:30 am Saturday, October 8, 2022 On Thursday, local pin seekers and business leaders took to the greens at Highland Country Club for the annual LaGrange-Troup Chamber of Commerce golf tournament. A team from Knox Pest Control finished first in the tournament, taking home a prize of $1,000. The Peachy Greens Chamber Golf Classic, as the tournament has been known for a few years now, is a four-person scramble format, where two flights of teams (usually businesses) compete for the lowest score. The best shot is used among team members as they play through the course. The annual tournament was created 18 years ago as a networking opportunity for chamber members. Teams compete for the top prize of $1,000, but the goal is to have fun, mingle and talk business. Chamber members also have to opportunity to sponsor “Business on the Tee” where they can set up tent booths to show off their businesses and offer fun giveaways. The tournament used to rotate between Highland Country Club and The Fields Golf Club, but it has been held at Highland in recent years. “This is the third consecutive year at Highland. We’re hoping that we can continue that relationship,” Chamber Chairman Jamey Jackson said. “Highland has been such a great partner with us in terms of carts, food service, drinks, staff and the quality of the course. They have really rolled out the red carpet to being a partner with the chamber.” Highland Country Club General Manager David Marra said hosting the chamber tournament gives them a lot of great exposure within the community. Partnerships like this are the whole reason why he accepted the position as Highland GM, Marra said. Community outreach makes sure that the club remains vital. Marra has been the general manager for the club for about seven months. “A lot of people here are seeing the club for the first time as well,” Marra said. “Hopefully, we see some additional new members come out of it.” Jackson said the tournament is one of their biggest in terms of competitors. He said the afternoon flight sold out and only three spots were unused for morning teams. The tournament is limited to 20 teams during each flight. Throughout the day, there are additional contests, such as the Around the World Putting competition where golfers surround a green and take simultaneous shots at the hole in rounds until someone sinks the shot. In addition to prizes for a hole-in-one on certain holes, the tournament traditionally has a fun, off-the-wall challenge hole. This year the tournament held a “Pot Shot” contest, where golfers competed for the best shot while sitting on a toilet. Knox Pest control took away the top prize, followed by Emory of LaGrange in second. Hometown Family Medicine finished third among 37 teams.

Dr Vijay Dalal Gives Tips On Heart Care – Zee News https://collincountynewsonline.com/dr-vijay-dalal-gives-tips-on-heart-care-zee-news/ Exercise: How, what and how much?
