Apple Freezes Plans To Use Chinas YMTC Chips Nikkei Reuters
Apple Freezes Plans To Use China’s YMTC Chips – Nikkei – Reuters https://collincountynewsonline.com/apple-freezes-plans-to-use-chinas-ymtc-chips-nikkei-reuters/
Oct 17 (Reuters) – U.S. tech giant Apple Inc (AAPL.O) has put on hold plans to use memory chips from China’s Yangtze Memory Technologies Co (YMTC) in its products, after Washington imposed tighter export controls against Chinese technology companies, the Nikkei reported on Monday.
Apple had originally planned to start using state-funded YMTC’s NAND flash memory chips as early as this year, Nikkei said, citing people familiar with the matter. The chips were initially planned to be used only for iPhones sold in the Chinese market.
It was considering eventually purchasing up to 40% of the chips needed for all iPhones from YMTC, the newspaper said.

The United States last week added China’s top memory chipmaker YMTC and 30 other Chinese entities to a list of companies that U.S. officials have been unable to inspect, ratcheting up tensions with Beijing, starting a 60 day-clock that could trigger much tougher penalties.
YMTC is also being investigated by the U.S. Commerce Department over whether it violated Washington’s export controls by selling chips to blacklisted Chinese telecommunications company Huawei Technologies Co Ltd.
Biden administration’s sweeping set of export controls on China is a bid to slow Beijing’s technological and military advances by cutting the country’s supplies off from certain semiconductor chips made anywhere in the world with U.S. equipment.
Apple did not immediately respond to Reuters’ request for comment, while YMTC declined to comment.

McKinney (5-1) Aims To Join Elite TXHSFB Company In DFW The Dallas Morning News
McKinney (5-1) Aims To Join Elite TXHSFB Company In DFW – The Dallas Morning News https://collincountynewsonline.com/mckinney-5-1-aims-to-join-elite-txhsfb-company-in-dfw-the-dallas-morning-news/
McKINNEY — Marcus Shavers gathered his roster inside McKinney’s field house for one final Week 7 pep talk before the team broke for its bye, a long holiday weekend and a well-deserved recharge.
“Be proud of your accomplishments,” Shavers said. “Be proud of being 5-1.”
Then he turned his attention to McKinney’s Week 8 game at Allen.
“Ain’t nobody is going to give it to us,” McKinney’s fifth-year coach said. “We’ve got to go take it.”
It, in the most present of meanings, is a win over Allen (5-1, 3-0 District 5-6A), the fifth-ranked team in The Dallas Morning News’ area 6A poll, a six-time state champion and a gold standard of what success looks like. It could catapult McKinney into district championship contention.
And if you zoom out a bit (or, a whole lot) it is what a win over Allen (something McKinney hasn’t had since 1999) would represent. McKinney (5-1, 3-0), The News’ 13th-ranked 6A team, is among the throng of Dallas-area football teams on the outside looking in on that elite tier of programs — the Allens, Southlake Carrolls, Duncanvilles and Denton Guyers of the world.
But a victory at Allen? That’d be big, and it might show that McKinney — off to its best start in the Shavers era and led by a pair of Power Five-caliber prospects — is ready to pull itself into the upper crust of Dallas-Fort Worth football.
“There was an article that came out that said we were going to be the bottom feeders in the district,” running back Bryan Jackson said. “But that’s all cool though. We’re [going to] make a statement next Friday.”

Dynamic duo of talent and leadership
So how does a team like McKinney position itself to make that ever-so sought-after jump from good to great?
Let’s not overthink this. Shavers, a former All-American defensive lineman at Allen, knows it comes down to the talent on a roster. You won’t get far without it in Texas high school football.
But there are the intangibles. Look around D-FW: There are more four- and five-star recruits than there are state-title contenders. So McKinney offensive coordinator Rowdy Harper, a former lineman at Houston whom Shavers credits with building this team’s winning formula, said you need leaders, too.
In Jackson and quarterback Keldric Luster, McKinney may just have both.
Jackson, a junior with scholarship offers from Alabama, Oklahoma, Auburn and 28 others, has 1,004 rushing yards (second among Dallas-area 6A backs) and 15 touchdowns (first among Dallas-area 6A backs). He has topped 100 yards in all six games, rushed for 200 or more twice and scored four touchdowns in a Week 6 win over Denton Braswell.
“He’s got a little bit of that Michael Jordan,” Harper said. “He wants to win, he’s a competitor and he’s starting to figure out how to use that to bring his teammates along.”
Luster, an SMU commit, was The News’ first-team all-area quarterback a year ago at Frisco Liberty. He transferred to McKinney in the offseason, helped the team to a fruitful state 7-on-7 run, and now has 1,125 passing yards, 233 rushing yards and 14 total touchdowns.
“We just couldn’t get a read on him,” Shavers said, “until we started playing football. The bottom line is: Keldric loves playing football. When we started playing football, it was natural for him to step in and set the tone for the people around him.”
Luster led Liberty to a 10-2 record — one of its best ever — as a junior. There he learned how teams can make that jump.
“It takes a true leader,” Luster said. “I really feel like I’m the big piece to help this team out.”
So there are the intangibles. And the on-field product? McKinney is third among Dallas-area 6A offenses with 480.83 total yards per game, as the duo of Jackson and Luster (plus, an experienced offensive line that returned four of five starters) has helped it averaged 43.5 points.
“Me personally,” Luster asked, “if I was on defense? I’d be scared, myself.”

Patience is a virtue
The foundation of success, more often than not, isn’t built overnight. Or even in one year, for that matter.
“How do you position yourself with the best 6A football teams in D-FW?” Shavers said. “I think something like that takes time.”
Since Shavers was named head coach in 2018, McKinney is 26-23 with two postseason appearances and a high-water mark season of 7-5 in 2019. He offered an example, one classification below his: South Oak Cliff, the reigning 5A Division II state champion, was no doubt a good team for years. But its title run? That was, as Shavers said, a seven-to-10-year project.
McKinney, he hopes, can follow a similar trajectory.
“Although the scoreboard wasn’t favoring us early, I think real football people saw that we were building a program.” Shavers said. “I think it starts with our [school] district, and the commitment to keeping us here. Especially in a time that’s so fickle, where coaching changes happen all the time. I’ve been here five years and McKinney Boyd has had three coaches. It’s a commitment to them believing in the growth.”
That growth has led McKinney to a more equal footing with some of Collin County’s best 6A programs.
It shares a district with Allen, top-ranked Denton Guyer and state-ranked Prosper. For McKinney, a run at the district’s championship is no longer an improbable one, either.
“You walk [into Allen] knowing that there’s tradition here, there’s pride here,” Shavers said. “It’s a championship team and I’m supposed to keep the streak alive. There’s that level of accountability. When you come in to McKinney, there hasn’t been a rich tradition of success. That has to be developed every day.”
Friday against Allen — or Week 10 vs. Denton Guyer, or Week 11 at Prosper — could all be good days for that continued growth.
District 5-6A standings:

Make Organizing Business Travel An Easy With These Useful Tips – Myrtlebeachsc.com https://collincountynewsonline.com/make-organizing-business-travel-an-easy-with-these-useful-tips-myrtlebeachsc-com/
If you have to go away for a business trip, then you need to prepare. Not preparing could be disastrous, especially if you are meeting new clients or investors.
A lot of people think that planning a business trip is a lot like planning a vacation, but this is not true. There are far more things for you to think about when you are going away on business, than when you are going on holiday.
This post will tell you everything that you need to know if you have to go away on business.
Travel Services
When you go away on business, booking flights and accommodation aren’t the only things that you need to worry about. You also need to spend time preparing for meetings, planning what you are going to say, and creating presentations. It can be impossible doing all of these things while simultaneously trying to arrange flights. So, according to Telios Travel, who you can learn more about on their website, working with a travel management company often means that you will have a team of experts arranging your trip for you. You can tell them everything you want, like, and dislike. Then, they can make sure that your trip is planned right. Bear in mind that not all travel services are equal. Some are considerably better than others. The best way to determine whether or not the service you want to work with is worth using is to read their reviews.
Meeting Preparation
As mentioned in the previous section, when you have to go away on a business trip, the most challenging part is preparing for your meetings. Because of how challenging meetings can be with foreign clients and investors, it’s essential that you spend a lot of time preparing yourself for them. Take time to create presentations, write out your speeches and talks, and learn about the people that you will be meeting with. Going into a meeting blind can be a very bad idea. Meet with your bosses to see if they have any specific things that they want you to do or say, too.
Notifying Staff
If you work for somebody else’s business, then it’s very likely that they will ask another member of staff to join you. More often than not, this is done to make your trip easier for you. One employee is usually tasked with leading the meeting, and the other is usually told to take notes, and bring up any missed points. Your employers will notify staff members for you. If you own your own business and want to bring people, then you will have to tell them that their presence is required.
Local Phrases
If you don’t speak the language of the country that you are traveling to, then it’s a good idea to take some time to learn local phrases. Doing so can ingratiate you with the people that you meet, and also make traveling a lot easier. It is a very bad idea to travel anywhere if you don’t speak the language because you can’t ask for help when you are in trouble. You can likely take a quick course in the language online. Doing so will make getting around much less stressful.
Prepare Electronics
It’s very likely that if you are going abroad for a meeting, you will need to use certain electronics, like your laptop. Make sure that you prepare all of your electronics before you leave, so that you have everything ready for when you arrive. Do not wait until the last minute to prepare your electronics. Make sure that you have your USB stick and anything else that you need in your bag at least a week before you plan on leaving. If you have to take anything out, then make sure that it goes back as soon as you are done using it.
Travel Documents
It is essential that your travel documents are all prepared, too. The worst thing you can do is not prepare your travel documents, because you could then get to the airport and discover that you aren’t able to fly. This could cause serious interruptions to your business’s international relations. Your employers won’t be very happy with you if they have to postpone the meeting, either, and there’s no guarantee that you will be able to get another flight on the same day. Keep your travel documents in your bag along with your electronics.
Preparing for a business trip can be hard work, which is why it’s good to hire a travel management service to do it for you. Then, you can focus on everything else mentioned here. Make sure that you prepare for your meetings abroad and a few local phrases.

How Does No Claim Bonus Impact Your Car Insurance Premium? The Indian Express
How Does No Claim Bonus Impact Your Car Insurance Premium? – The Indian Express https://collincountynewsonline.com/how-does-no-claim-bonus-impact-your-car-insurance-premium-the-indian-express/
NCB has created quite a stir. It sounds upbeat. Why? There are several explanations for this. First and foremost, comprehend NCB.
No Claim Bonus is abbreviated as NCB. Yes, you read that correctly. Bonus. Does not this word have the ability to lift your spirits on its own? This benefit, however, is not available to everyone; you must satisfy certain criteria to be eligible.
Continue reading to learn more about why the No Claim Bonus is so vital when renewing your car insurance. It is important to note that NCB is coupled with a comprehensive car insurance policy rather than a standalone third-party insurance policy for cars.
Everything to Know about No Claim Bonus in Car/Vehicle Insurance
No Claim Bonus is critical in bike/car insurance because these are long-term plans. Essentially, a Claim Bonus is awarded to the insured for every claim-free year. It is generally paid in the form of discounts at the time of insurance renewal. So, if you are purchasing car insurance for your new car or renewing your existing car insurance, being eligible for a No Claim Bonus or NCB can substantially reduce your insurance cost.
So, Why Do Insurance Companies Offer No Claim Bonus in Car Insurance?
Well, you drive carefully for a year without making any claims throughout the car insurance policy period. Your plan period is coming to a close, and it’s time to renew your policy. Your insurance company recognises that you’re a cautious driver and wishes to thank you for not filing a claim. As a result, when you renew your coverage, the insurance company gives you a discount. This incentive is known as bike/car insurance NCB.
No Claim Bonus: Benefits
The following are the primary benefits of the No Claim Bonus:
Discount
No Claim Bonus (NCB) will assist you in obtaining a policy renewal discount. As a result, you will have to pay a lower premium than you would otherwise have for not having an NCB.
Transferable
No Claim Bonus is tied to the four-wheeler owner rather than the vehicle. As a result, if you want to sell your old (covered) four-wheeler and purchase a new one, you may carry forward the No Claim Bonus. Also, NCB stays intact with you if you decide to transfer your coverage from one insurance company to the next.
High Savings
If you follow the guidelines, the No Claim Bonus is incremental. As a result, if you don’t file a claim in 5 years and renew your car policy on time, you might receive a significant discount on insurance renewal for years.
No Claim Bonus in Car Insurance: How Does It Work?
While all things around you are increasing in price, your vehicle insurance provides you with a unique benefit by offering you the option to cut your car insurance premium rate. You may be wondering how it works, right? Let us dive in!
No Claim Bonus operates in the same manner as any other bonus. It serves as both a reward and a drive to keep up the excellent work. If you do not make any claims during your first policy year, you will receive a 20% NCB discount. As a result, you continue to collect an additional 5% from your second straight year of making no claims. This might result in a 50% decrease in your sixth straight year.
Thus, by including the No Claim Bonus in your car insurance policy, insurance companies encourage you to drive safely while discouraging you from filing claims. In this manner, a car insurance policyholder will think twice about filing claims for minor concerns.
No Claim Bonus in Car Insurance: Why is It So Important?
No Claim Bonus is crucial in car insurance since car owners spend a lot of money on comprehensive car insurance throughout the course of the four-wheeler’s life. The higher the premium amount, the more the car’s value. Because the No Claim Bonus helps to lower premiums, it becomes a significant feature for every four-wheeler owner.
No Claim Bonus Discount on Your Car Insurance Premium Calculation
Here is an example: Mr Sharma and Mr Singhania both purchased expensive four-wheelers of the same make, model, and brand. Both of them paid ₹22,000 for the very first year of car insurance. Due to a decrease in the value of the car, the premium for the second year was reduced to ₹20,000.
Mr Sharma didn’t file a claim during the very first year of his insurance policy, but Mr Singhania was involved in a four-wheeler accident and had to file a claim for damages. As a result, Mr Sharma earned a 20% rebate on the premium due for the second year (claim-free renewal), but Mr Singhania didn’t because his No Claim Bonus was zero.
Calculation
Mr Sharma
Mr Singhania
1st year Premium
₹22,000
₹22,000
2nd Year Premium (Claim-free Renewal)
₹20,000
₹20,000
Premium amount after NCB Calculation
₹16,000 (20% NCB)
₹20,000 (0% NCB)
Please keep in mind that the preceding example is only for illustration purposes. NCB is determined on the payable premium’s Own Damage component, not the whole premium.
Here’s an intriguing possibility. If you choose an NCB Protection Add-on/Rider, you may file a claim while still receiving the renewal discount. To receive the advantages of the No Claim Bonus Protection policy, you must pay a fee.
No Claim Bonus in India: Things to Keep in Mind
The following are the important pointers associated with No Claim Bonus in India:
When Does No Claim Bonus Expire? – If the policy is not renewed (within 3 months of its expiration) or if an insurance claim is submitted without the No Claim Bonus add-on.
NCB for Commercial Automobiles – Please consult the insurance policy document for specifics since the terms and conditions of the No Claim Bonus in the case of commercial automobiles may differ from one insurance carrier to the next.
No Claim Bonus and Claim – If you file a claim without purchasing the NCB add-on cover, the No Claim Bonus is reset to zero.
NCB Proof – The insurance company’s NCB certificate can serve as NCN proof.
The Key Takeaway
You must avoid filing minor claims if you want to keep your No Claim Bonus intact. Try paying such claims out of your own wallet. If the insurance claim is significant and you wish to preserve your collected No Claim Bonus, choose the No Claim Bonus protection add-on/rider.
If you want to buy online car insurance from Tata AIG, compare car insurance premium rates by visiting our official website and selecting the plan that meets your budget and requirements. Also, pick the No Claim Bonus protection add-on to safeguard your plan’s NCB even if you make a claim. Contact us to learn more.
Pay No Attention To The Price Of Bitcoin And Ethereum Decrypt
Pay No Attention To The Price Of Bitcoin And Ethereum – Decrypt https://collincountynewsonline.com/pay-no-attention-to-the-price-of-bitcoin-and-ethereum-decrypt/
Crypto is totally dead lately—if you’re only looking at the price action.
Yes, Bitcoin is down 72% from its all-time-high price in November 2021, almost one full year ago. Ethereum is down the same, 72% from its own high of $4,878. Woof.
Crypto advocates point out that it’s not just crypto, stocks have been hammered too. And they’re right: everything is down right now. But that’s cold comfort for crypto believers, who—I’ll let you in on a little crypto media trade secret—do not care to read any crypto news when crypto prices are down. ConsenSys CEO Joe Lubin put on a brave face last week when talking to me about the technological success of the Ethereum merge, but ETH is down a disheartening 21% since the event.
For a better temperature check on how crypto is doing, look at the major recent signs of mainstream adoption. In the past two months, we got a string of indications that major financial institutions and tech companies believe crypto is here to stay. You’d be excused for having missed these news stories while the global economy was collapsing all around us.
In August, BlackRock, the largest asset manager in the world, launched a spot Bitcoin private trust to give its customers exposure to the current price of Bitcoin. (As a reminder, the SEC has staunchly refused to greenlight a publicly-traded spot Bitcoin ETF, allowing only Bitcoin futures ETFs; but BlackRock can offer its own clients whatever service it wants.) BlackRock also said it’s seeing “substantial interest” in crypto from its institutional clients, and that it’s exploring stablecoins and tokenization. Wow. Bitcoin didn’t budge on that news, a sign of just how much the economy is weighing on every type of asset.
This past week brought two more big shows of faith.
Google announced it will start accepting crypto as payment for its cloud services early next year by plugging into Coinbase. As part of the deal, Coinbase Commerce will move its “data-related applications” from Amazon Web Services over to Google. So not only is this Google Cloud welcoming crypto, but also a form of tie-up between Google and Coinbase.
On the same day, 239-year-old Bank of New York Mellon launched its own Bitcoin and Ethereum custody service. The bank will hold clients’ private keys and provide accounting on their crypto portfolios. This follows BNY Mellon becoming the custodian for the cash reserves that back Circle’s USDC stablecoin in March. And last year, BNY Mellon launched a Bitcoin custody service in Ireland.
BlackRock, Google, BNY Mellon
Probably nothing
— Barry Silbert (@BarrySilbert) October 11, 2022
All of this might look to sneering crypto-skeptics like a sad attempt at rationalization. The favored mantra of Web3 builders, “bear markets are for building,” gets so oft-repeated at times like these that it has become cliché. That doesn’t mean it’s untrue.
I first wrote about Bitcoin in 2011. I’ve witnessed the freezing crypto cycles of 2014, 2018, and now. Some of the best-known crypto companies and platforms were built during those “winters.”

Exercise is a part of managing arthritis, although it should be done daily. Along with this, there are other lifestyle changes that can help you live better with arthritis. Orthopedic consultant Dr. Siddharth Yadav explains 5 lifestyle changes that can help relieve the symptoms of arthritis.
How to make lifestyle changes for arthritis
1) Lose weight- Being overweight is the most common risk factor for osteoarthritis. During this time, the pressure of about three times the weight of the body is now on the knees. Losing weight can prevent early arthritis, as well as relieve pain in those who already suffer from it.
2) Change in physical activity- People who suffer from knee pain should avoid impact loading activities like jogging, squatting, skipping, sitting on the floor. Why should only western commode be used? It will help in reducing joint damage and reduce pain.
3) Daily Exercise- Strong muscles stabilize joints and joint movement and are also good for nourishing the surface of the joints, so daily exercise is very important.
4) Dose of vitamins- Vitamin D makes bones strong and vitamin B12 is essential for muscles and nerves. Long-term vitamin K deficiency can cause rapid cartilage damage, leading to arthritis.
5) Yoga- Yoga helps control stress and improves metabolism. Practicing yoga daily reduces the pain, thereby reducing the need for pain killers.

Cowboys Vs. Eagles Live Score, Updates, Highlights From NFL ‘Sunday Night Football’ Game – Sporting News https://collincountynewsonline.com/cowboys-vs-eagles-live-score-updates-highlights-from-nfl-sunday-night-football-game-sporting-news/
Two of the NFL’s best teams will face off under the lights in an early-season divisional showdown on “Sunday Night Football.” Oh, yeah, they also don’t like each other very much.
The Cowboys and Eagles meet for the first time this season, in prime time in Week 6 — and the stakes couldn’t be much higher.
Both teams have gotten off to outstanding starts in 2022. Philadelphia is the only undefeated team remaining in the league at 5-0 while Dallas is lurking at 4-1.
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has forced his way into the MVP discussion with 10 total touchdowns (four passing, six rushing). His supporting cast on offense — including A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and Miles Sanders — is making life difficult for opposing defenses.
That said, Philly has only played one team with a winning record thus far (the Vikings in Week 2). This week’s game will be one of its toughest tests to date.

Cowboys fans could be forgiven for thinking their season was over after a Week 1 loss to the Buccaneers in which Dak Prescott suffered a thumb fracture on his throwing hand. But they’ve rattled off four wins in a row since then with Cooper Rush filling in at quarterback.
The hallmark of this team is its defense, with reigning DROY Micah Parsons spearheading a pass rush that’s second in the league in sacks per game. The unit is also allowing just 14 points per game, which was good for third in the NFL after five weeks.
Rush has been winning games but he hasn’t necessarily been lighting it up. He’s coming off his worst statistical game of the season: 10-for-16 passing, 102 yards, no touchdowns (but also no interceptions) in a win over the Rams. He’ll need to play better than that to keep up with an explosive Eagles offense.

Cowboys vs. Eagles live updates, highlights from ‘Sunday Night Football’
(All times Eastern.)
10:04 p.m. — Maher kicks it into the end zone for a touchback and the second half is underway.
9:56 p.m. — The halftime stats tell the story. The Cowboys have just 4 first downs compared to Philly’s 12, and they trail the Eagles in total yards 173-81. Their two turnovers were also killers, with both leading to points for Philly.
9:50 p.m. — Dallas ended the half with points, but they have a mountain to climb after getting outscored 20-3 in the second quarter. Philadelphia will get the ball back to start the second half.
End of first half: Eagles 20, Cowboys 3
9:48 p.m. FIELD GOAL — Maher puts it through from 30 yards for the Cowboys’ first points of the night.
9:47 p.m. — Rush throws into the end zone for Gallup but it’s nearly picked off again. James Bradberry gets a hand on it but it hits the turf incomplete. Brett Maher will come on to try and get Dallas on the board.
9:43 p.m. — Noah Brown nearly made an unbelievable touchdown catch in the back corner of the end zone, but he was ruled out of bounds after an official review. After Rush’s pass is batted down on 2nd down, Dallas faces 3rd and 10.
— NFL (@NFL) October 17, 2022
9:41 p.m. — Completions to Hendershot and Gallup move Dallas to the edge of the red zone. On 3rd and 1, Elliot plows forward for 9 more yards and a first down. The Cowboys have it on the 12-yard line with 44 seconds left in the half.
9:39 p.m. — Finally, there’s a big play for Dallas. It comes on the kickoff return, as KaVontae Turpin shows off his speed and breaks free for a big return. Rush and the Cowboys will start the drive from near the Eagles’ 40-yard line.
Eagles 20, Cowboys 0
9:36 p.m. FIELD GOAL — Elliot knocks it through from 34 yards. Philly’s lead just keeps on growing.
9:34 p.m. — Hurts takes off up the middle for a gain of 12, but that’ll still bring up 4th down. The Eagles’ offense briefly stays on the field, but it was just to try and draw the Cowboys offsides again. They don’t bite this time around, so Elliot will trot on for another field goal attempt.
9:31 p.m. TWO-MINUTE WARNING — With 120 seconds left in the half, Philly faces a 3rd and 18 from near the Cowboys’ 30-yard line.
9:28 p.m. — DeVonta Smith comes up with a pair of catches to move the Eagles down to the Dallas 27-yard line, then Sanders bursts ahead for another first down to enter the red zone.
9:24 p.m. INTERCEPTION — This is spiraling out of control for Dallas. Rush makes a very careless throw across the middle intended for Michael Gallup, but Darius “Big Play” Slay jumps the route and picks it off. It’s been a rough, rough first half for Rush.
— NFL (@NFL) October 17, 2022
9:22 p.m. — The Cowboys finally get a first down after a Pollard run picks up 15 yards. But the ensuing two plays go nowhere, and they now face 3rd and 9.
Eagles 17, Cowboys 0
9:19 p.m. FIELD GOAL — Elliot’s kick is true from 51 yards out to extend the Eagles’ lead.
9:18 p.m. — The Eagles can’t make any progress on their drive, going three-and-out after Quez Watkins was pushed out of bounds on 3rd down. Jake Elliot will come on for a field goal try.
9:15 p.m. — After watching a few replays, it looks like Lamb actually did make the line to gain on that 3rd down catch. But rather than challenge or call timeout, the Cowboys quickly went for it. Tough break for Dallas, but on the other hand their staff in the booth probably should have suggested a challenge there.
Cowboys should have challenged the spot after this 3rd and 9. they probably would have gotten it. Better than trying a play action on 4th and inches lmao pic.twitter.com/N7kqZwPtya
— alex (@highlghtheaven) October 17, 2022
9:12 p.m. TURNOVER ON DOWNS — Mike McCarthy gambles and goes for it on 4th and 1 from his own 34-yard line. Rush fakes the handoff, rolls right and throws downfield but it’s broken up! Another terrible sequence for the Dallas offense, and another drive with fantastic starting field position for Hurts and Co.
9:11 p.m. — On the ensuing drive, Elliot gets stuffed on first down and Rush throws incomplete on 2nd. That sets up 3rd and 9, and Rush completes it to CeeDee Lamb. It was close, but he’s been spotted just short to bring up 4th down.
9:09 p.m. — As mentioned on the NBC broadcast, the Eagles have been superb in second quarters all season long. After that touchdown, they now have a +82 point differential in second quarters this year.
Eagles 14, Cowboys 0
9:05 p.m. TOUCHDOWN — Hurts tosses right to Brown, who has room to run. He lowers his shoulder and bulldozes into the end zone for his second touchdown of the season! Things have escalated quickly after a dull first quarter.
— NFL (@NFL) October 17, 2022
9:02 p.m. — Sanders and Boston Scott rip off a few good runs in a row to move the ball into the red zone, before Dallas finally gets a stop to set up 3rd and 3.
8:59 p.m. INTERCEPTION — Things go from bad to worse for the Cowboys. On the first play of the drive, Rush throws down the middle of the field but his pass is tipped high into the air and picked off by C.J. Gardner-Johnson. Hurts and the Eagles immediately have the ball back with great field position at the Dallas 44-yard line.
— NFL (@NFL) October 17, 2022
Eagles 7, Cowboys 0
8:54 p.m. TOUCHDOWN — Miles Sanders powers his way into the end zone to open the scoring! That mistake by the Cowboys ends up costing them a touchdown.
— NFL (@NFL) October 17, 2022
8:52 p.m. — BIG mistake by the Cowboys. The Eagles were trying to draw them offside on 4th and 4 and they did just that. A costly neutral zone infraction penalty gives Philly first and goal from the 5-yard line.
8:50 p.m. — Gainwell picks up 9 yards on the next play to keep the Eagles moving. A few plays later, Hurts gets brought down for a loss before throwing incomplete. On 3rd and 12, he connects with Brown but it’s short of the marker. They’ll leave their offense on the field for now with the end of the quarter approaching.
8:47 p.m. — On 4th down, Hurts passes short right to Brown who easily picks up the first down with a gain of 11 yards to keep the drive alive.
8:46 p.m. — Another Eagles tight end, Dallas Goedert, gets involved with a 9-yard catch of his own. A few plays later, they face a 3rd and 5 and running back Kenneth Gainwell gets stuffed to bring up 4th and 3 from the Dallas 38-yard line.
8:42 p.m. — Hurts finds his tight end Jack Stoll for a gain of 21. That’s the biggest play of the night so far and it moves the Eagles to their own 43-yard line.
8:38 p.m. — Another Dallas drive stalls out. Runs by Pollard and Elliot set up 3rd and 4, and Rush’s pass intended for Peyton Hendershot falls incomplete. That’ll bring on Bryan Anger for another punt.
8:35 p.m. — Tony Pollard gets the ball on back-to-back plays to start the drive, picking up 3 yards then 8 yards to move the chains.
8:30 p.m. — The Cowboys get a big first down sack courtesy of Dorance Armstrong. Their pass rush has been absolutely dominant this season. Philadelphia gets a few yards back on 2nd down after a catch by A.J. Brown, but Hurts’ pass on 3rd and 8 falls incomplete. The Eagles will punt it away.
8:28 p.m. — Jalen Hurts takes the field for the first time tonight, and on 2nd and 10 he hits DeVonta Smith in stride for a gain of 13 yards.
8:25 p.m. — CeeDee Lamb runs for 8 yards on first down, then Cooper Rush’s first pass of the night gets broken up. On 3rd and 2, Ezekiel Elliot gets smothered at the line of scrimmage and can’t reach the line to gain. That’s a t...
Byepix: A Multi-Dimensional Bridge Between All Metaverses & Super Metaverse Platform Coinpedia Fintech News
Byepix: A Multi-Dimensional Bridge Between All Metaverses & Super Metaverse Platform – Coinpedia Fintech News https://collincountynewsonline.com/byepix-a-multi-dimensional-bridge-between-all-metaverses-super-metaverse-platform-coinpedia-fintech-news/
Byepix is a Web3-based All-In-One Super Metaverse Platform that aims to give its users the “MOST EXCLUSIVE and First Ever UNIFIED Metaverse EXPERIENCE.”
Byepix is in the ICO Phase with a short-term of 30X to 50X and a long-term of 100X Guaranteed Profit Opportunity.
Byepix aims to provide its users with the opportunity to create their ideal life in an ideal world with infinite possibilities and absolute freedom while communicating with their friends in other Metaverses.
At Byepix Metaverse, users will find a totally new financial system and laws defined by its people. In this world, in a far-away star system, Users can imagine infinitely, create, play, socialise across all the Metaverses, make money while having fun, and monitor their assets in another Metaverse in the Unified Single Ecosystem of Byepix Super Metaverse.
Byepix users can switch from one to another Metaverse in a matter of seconds through the Byepix Super Metaverse Protocol (BSMP) which is a multi-layered bridge that allows users to surf between all Metaverses, in other words Byepix
connects all Metaverses. And the super metaverse App gives users the ability to track and manage all their assets, NFTs and across all Metaverse environments, measure prices, monitor market capitalization, view clothing or items in different Metaverses, and sell, exchange, or transfer them all on one platform.
However, to make this vision a reality, many types of protocols must first be edited and modified to fully support and manage such an application. Byepix does exactly that.
In the Byepix tech lab, brilliant web3 engineers have devised a 3-pronged plan to solve problems like scaling, communication, boundary, and incompatibility and to eliminate interoperability challenges preventing Metaverses from being connected.
● Byepix Metaverse Blockchain-Layer 2 Solution
It takes part in the Layer 2 Protocol field and serves as the processing brain of the metaverse environments. The metaverse blockchain removes barriers and access restrictions in Metaverse Environments for users. Byepix removes borders and brings all the Metaverse users in the world together.
● Byepix Super Metaverse Protocol (BSMP)
Byepix Super Metaverse Protocol spreads to allMetaverse-related internet environments for Metaverse users, collects, processes, performs data and functions that connect users, and establishes inter-network connections.
The Super Metaverse Protocol is a Layer 2 cross-chain aggregator that connects all metadata servers and networks into a single Byepix-based ecosystem. When Byepix Metaverse Blockchain is completed, it will merge with Byepix SMP.
● Byepix Super Metaverse Application (BSMA)
The Byepix Super Metaverse Application is an application with a user interface design that works using the Byepix Super Metaverse Protocol.
Byepix’s Super Metaverse multi-layer integration allows users in all Metaverse environments to manage NFTs and assets, measure prices, track market capitalization, and sell and transfer on a single platform. With the super metaverse Application, you can keep track of and manage all your assets in all the connected Metaverses.
Byepix provides users with seamless transitions to experience reality. For example, while using the Ethereum network, you can connect with a friend on the Avalanche network.
Byepix’s Team
Byepix fields one of the most brilliant teams in the world. A group of exceptionally experienced people came together to improve our world by creating an ideal example, a model for people to experience and actualize in reality.
Every detail of this project is rich and ready to expand and thrive even more. It can indeed expand because the basis of this project is very strong. Byepix is consolidating its development path by creating definitive solutions such as Layer 2 Metaverse blockchain,
The Byepix Super-Metaverse Protocol (BSMAP) and its application (BSMA). These solutions will be accessible to all projects, including every metaverse and its users.
In what phase is this Unique Project now?
Byepix is in its ICO Phase, which is going exceptionally well, as it is listed on CMC as one of 3 ICO Projects.
Every day, another article about Byepix is published on major business websites such as Bloomberg and BTCnews.
Byepix’s members, which Byepix calls the Angel Army of 100.000 supporters on the Byepix Telegram Global, are ready to support and eager to help Byepix overcome any obstacle. Moreover, updates to its platforms and protocols continue to mesmerize blockchain and the metaverse era.
How About the INVESTORS, Are they taken care of?
Exceptional web3 engineers thought of the supporting investors also. As a result, they have designed the first two revolutionary systems worldwide to ensure that ICO investors have huge profits.
How?
The groundbreaking BYEPIX Maximum Profit Program (MPP) makes it possible to send $EPIX tokens locked to the users’ wallets through a mutual agreement that the buyer approves by purchasing.
This agreement makes the tokens not owner-bound nor buyer-bound but time-bound. Once $EPIX tokens (Governing token of Byepix) are purchased by the buyers, the blockchain allows the sending of the purchased $EPIX tokens to the buyers’ wallets in a secure safe, which opens automatically only when it’s the unlocking date. MPP also has a unique release system that ensures these tokens won’t be released simultaneously into the circulating supply.
You may learn more about Byepix MPP by watching this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_lcWUcBBgc&t=50s
$EPIX Tokens will be released with time-bound or limited amount conditions: Circulating supply will be under control, which will eliminate pump-and-dump and enable prices to increase organically so that investors may benefit hugely from their early investments.
“The circulating supply remains limited, which means the EPIX price will skyrocket.” Such a smart concept. “
For example, after the first week of Byepix’s listing, there will be only 100k to 120k $EPIX tokens in circulation instead of 5 million. It means within the next 20 days after the listing. The price will definitely be up to $20 and increase upwards.
Another way BYEPIX protects investors is ICO STAKING— The first in DeFi history!
Byepix’s revolutionary ICO Staking draws a line over the primitive modern-day ICO Systems, which freeze the investors’ funds carelessly with vesting periods and ICO runtimes. And it replaces them with the Byepix ICO staking.
“Byepix ICO Staking allows investors to earn returns immediately the moment the $EPIX purchase is completed”— CEO of Byepix.
With Byepix MPP, your money does not sleep; it works!”
Even though tokens are locked through the MPP, investors can use the Byepix ICO Staking and stake /unstake their tokens freely at a 90% APY rate and make even more profit by increasing the $EPIX tokens they own.
We hope this article inspires emerging projects to apply this method to their systems and will become a contribution to compensation for the past losses of many ICO Investors and allow them to trust ICOs again. Says the Byepix team.
We will now take $EPIX under the Magnifying glass and review why Epix Price will rise.
What Byepix will do to make sure that it does:
A. Marketing (40% of ICO investments): We will use 40% of the ICO
investments for marketing and introducing Byepix to the rest of the world.
B. Social Media Hype with the Mission Platform: We have created a Platform called Byepix Mission, where we design special missions for users to complete and earn money or in-platform and in-game assets as rewards. In these missions, there are tasks to create hype also.
C. Buyback: Our tokens are very valuable, so we will buy them back instead of putting more tokens into circulation.
D. Burning: This function will help to keep the circulating supply balanced. When the price remains stable, the chance of a price increase is greater.
E. Keep Updating and Adapting itself to modern tech: Byepix will add or remove utilities that are needed.
What the Byepix Users Will Do Naturally:
A. Virtual Lands: Users can purchase lands to invest in that era, but they will
first require $EPIX.
B. Virtual Life Assets: Users on the Byepix Metaverse will want to decorate their virtual homes and gardens, and they will need $EPIX.
C. Game Characters and Assets: Characters and assets in the games will be sold on the Byepix marketplace for $EPIX.
D. Marketplace-NFTs: The marketplace will be full of valuable art pieces. Users will need $EPIX to purchase NFTs.
E. Staking: Byepix will offer staking opportunities with high APY rates. They will require $EPIX to participate in staking.
F. Farming: Again, Byepix will provide farming possibilities at high rates of APR. To participate in farming, they will need to purchase $EPIX.
G. Participation in the IDO Launchpad: To participate in some of the listed project presales, users will need to hold/stake $EPIX.
H. Prediction and Lottery: Users have to buy $EPIX before using these fun features.
I. Portfolio Growth: They will continue to purchase more as prices continuously rise and add more $EPIX to their portfolio.

Jets CB Sauce Gardners Celebratory Cheesehead Knocked Off By Allen Lazard ABC News
Jets CB Sauce Gardner’s Celebratory Cheesehead Knocked Off By Allen Lazard – ABC News https://collincountynewsonline.com/jets-cb-sauce-gardners-celebratory-cheesehead-knocked-off-by-allen-lazard-abc-news/
GREEN BAY, Wis. — The surprising New York Jets enjoyed their 27-10 win over the Green Bay Packers so much that they decided to partake in a couple of local traditions on Sunday. They took a Lambeau Leap and celebrated the upset by donning a cheesehead, much to the chagrin of a Packers player.
It was rookie cornerback Sauce Gardner who wore the cheesehead, a gift from an ecstatic Jets fan in the crowd. As he strutted off the field and to the tunnel — the wrong tunnel, as it turned out — Gardner was caught from behind, so to speak, by Allen Lazard. The Packers’ wide receiver knocked Gardner’s block (of cheese) off, creating a moment that went viral on social media.
“I’m definitely never going to forget this moment,” Gardner said, laughing at his locker. “It’s a tribute to the Jets fans. They put in on my head, the Jets fans. I just had to take it and run with it.”
Lazard took it well, complimenting Gardner on his game and his nickname (“Sauce, that’s a cool name”) and insisting he wasn’t bothered by the rookie’s gesture.
“It’s just a little competitive spirit,” Lazard said. “Nothing too harmful in that aspect or anything. I’m sure he probably would’ve done the same thing if I was wearing a Jets hat or helmet walking off their field, so that’s just the competitiveness in me. No disrespect to him.”
The corny moment capped another convincing victory for the Jets, who turned a 3-3 halftime score into a one-sided second half. The Jets sacked Aaron Rodgers four times and hit him nine times; they outrushed Green Bay 179 yards to 60; and they became the first team since 2018 to have a blocked field goal and blocked punt in the same game — scoring on the latter.
Who could’ve envisioned this? The Jets won their third straight and improved to 4-2 for the first time since 2015, winning in convincing fashion for the second week in a row. This sort of thing usually doesn’t happen to the Jets. In fact, it was only the second time in the past 20 years that they won by at least 17 points in back-to-back games.
The Jets became only the second team in the Super Bowl era to have a winning record through six games despite being an underdog in all six games, according to ESPN Stats & Information. The other was the 2001 Cleveland Browns.
“We believe we can be as great as any team in this league,” New York defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins said, adding how the Jets are “showing the rest of this world that this is not just a team you can write off or a team that, ‘Oh, maybe they’ll be good in a few years.’ No, we’re coming to win right now.”
Once again, the Jets were led by rookie running back Breece Hall, who rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown. He came became only the second rookie in franchise history to record at least 100 yards of scrimmage in consecutive games. He scored on a 34-yard misdirection play to put the Jets up 24-10 at the start of the fourth quarter.
He decided to take a Lambeau Leap. When in Green Bay …
“We actually had all talked about it before the game,” Hall said. “We were like, whichever one of us scores, we’ve got to do the Lambeau Leap. Braxton [Berrios] got the first one, but I don’t think there were any Jets fans on the side he scored.”
Berrios gave the Jets a 10-3 lead on a 20-yard reverse, a gadget play that seemed to snap the offense out of its doldrums. None of it was pretty, as the Jets finished with 99 net passing yards and converted only one of 11 third downs. They became the first team to win with only one third-down conversion and fewer than 100 net passing yards, according to ESPN Stats & Info.
But the Jets kept grinding, wearing down the favored Packers (3-3) despite a mediocre performance from quarterback Zach Wilson (10-for-18 passing, 110 yards).
New York coach Robert Saleh tried to downplay the significance of the victory, saying, “I’ll be honest: It doesn’t mean anything. Just like a loss wouldn’t have meant anything. I’ve said it before: We’ve got to start expecting stuff like this.”
As Jets cornerback D.J. Reed said, “I think we’re just getting started. We’re 3-0 on the road. That speaks volumes to everybody buying in … You definitely feel the confidence. Winning is becoming normal. It’s expected, really.”
New York’s defense took over the game, especially tackle Quinnen Williams, who registered two sacks, a forced fumble and a blocked field goal. The Jets sensed that Rodgers was rattled throughout the contest, as he was victimized by six drops.
“He was definitely frustrated,” Rankins said. “That’s what we wanted to see. That’s our objective every week, to piss off every quarterback we line up against in a smart, dominant, violent way. I think we were successful in doing that.”

Gators Find Success on Sunday at ITA Southeast Regionals
De Oliveira captured the consolation singles title while Briggs and Dudeney advanced to the championship of main draw doubles.
ATLANTA – Florida women’s tennis found success on the courts at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s Southeast Regional on Sunday, capturing a consolation singles title while sending doubles team to the championship round. In the main draw of doubles competition, the duo of Carly Briggs and Alicia Dudeney continued to roll, earning a spot in the championship on Monday after a strong performance in the semifinal round. Taking on Georgia Tech’s Kylie Bilchev and Alejandra Cruz, the duo earned a straight-set victory behind a 6-4, 7-5 effort. With the doubles title on the line, the Gators will meet the top-ranked doubles tandem in the country on Monday at 12 p.m. ET when Georgia Tech’s Kate Sharabura and Carol Lee take the court against the Orange & Blue. Sophomore Emily De Oliveira represented the Gators in consolation singles on Sunday, beginning with the semifinal round in the morning when she met South Florida’s Laura Pellicer Perello. De Oliveira maintained her impressive play, defeating her opponent: 6-4, 6-2, to earn a spot in the consolation championship. Alejandra Cruz of Georgia Tech awaited De Oliveira in the final matchup of the consolation tournament, setting the stage for a highly-contested championship. Cruz struck first, taking the opening frame 6-4, before De Oliveira responded with a dominant set of her own, evening the match with a 6-2 second set. A third set tiebreaker would determine Sunday’s champion, and it did not disappoint, as De Oliveira pulled away late for a 10-8 victory and title. The Biggest Gaming News For October 16, 2022 – TheGamer https://collincountynewsonline.com/the-biggest-gaming-news-for-october-16-2022-thegamer/
There might be a Silent Hill game in the works, Comcast pulls the plug on G4 TV, and Game Director on Bayonetta 3 Hideki Kamiya leaves Twitter.
Here we are on yet another sleepy Sunday, at least in theory. We’ve been getting some pretty big news recently, making this particular Sunday in fact not so sleepy. We found out for example that a bit of Silent Hill news will soon be announced by Konami, Comcast pulled the plug on the gaming network G4 TV, and Game Director Hideki Kamiya just deleted his Twitter account amidst the ongoing controversy surrounding Bayonetta 3. There’s more where this came from, so read on for the rest.
Bayonetta 3 Director Hideki Kamiya Closes Twitter Account Following Voice Actor Pay Controversy
Bayonetta 3 Game Director Hideki Kamiya has been at the center of controversy ever since the voice actor Hellena Taylor called for a boycott of the game, revealing that she was only offered a pittance in recompense for her services. The latest development is that Kamiya has now deleted his Twitter account. “What did they offer to pay me? The final offer to do the whole game as a buyout and as a flat rate was $4,000,” Taylor previously said. “This is an insult to me and to the amount of time I took to work on my talent and everything that I have given to this game and the fans. I am asking the fans to boycott this game and instead spend the money you would have spent on this game donating to charity. I didn’t want the world. I didn’t ask for too much. I was just asking for a decent, dignified living wage. What they did was legal, but it was immoral.”
The Latest Updates For The Silent Hill Series Will Be Revealed October 19
While fans of the franchise have been waiting for literally decades, Konami has revealed next to nothing about its plans for the popular Silent Hill franchise. The company has in fact been practically silent on the matter. Well, the situation has now changed. Konami said that we can all expect a big announcement, the best part of all being that we don’t even have to wait very long. “In your restless dreams, do you see that town? The latest updates for the Silent Hill series will be revealed during the Silent Hill Transmission on Wednesday,” the official account for Silent Hill posted on Twitter, calling on us all to tune in on October 19 at 2:00 PM PDT.
Comcast Leaves Workers In The Lurch After Surprise Gaming Network G4 TV Cancellation
Comcast recently sprung the surprise announcement that G4 TV has been canceled, a move leaving dozens of workers in the lurch. The reason stated by Chief Executive Officer Dave Scott was a lack of profitability. “As you know, G4 was reintroduced last year to tap into the popularity of gaming,” Scott remarked in a leaked memo. “We invested to create the new G4 as an online and TV destination for fans to be entertained, be inspired, and connect with gaming content. Over the past several months, we worked hard to generate that interest in G4, but viewership is low and the network has not achieved sustainable financial results. This is certainly not what we hoped for and as a result, we have made the very difficult decision to discontinue G4’s operations, effective immediately.”
Amouranth Reveals That She’s Married, Husband Controls Finances And Verbally Abuses Her On Stream
Amouranth came forward this afternoon with some rather shocking and unsettling news. The streamer is apparently married to an abusive husband. This of course represents the first time that Amouranth has made any mention of this, claiming to have been told to pose as single. The content creator could be seen accepting a phone call from her husband while on camera, noting how she was scared that he would harm her dogs. Amouranth has apparently been “wanting to tell” her fans that she was married for some time, but said that her husband rejected the idea, claiming that it would “ruin the business model.”
Former Achievement Hunter Kdin Jenzen Accuses Rooster Teeth Of Crunch, Slurs, And Unpaid Work
Kdin Jenzen has accused Rooster Teeth of crunch, slurs, and even unpaid work, the former Achievement Hunter star having left the company with nearly a decade worth of tenure. The departure came with a lengthy diatribe on Twitter in which he detailed some of the abuses. “Every day I came into work I was called ‘F*gg*t,’ but they could not use that name in content, so when anyone was recording, I was called ‘Fugz’ instead. For any fans who used that nickname for me for years, that’s what you were calling me,” Jenzen for example said. “I left Rooster Teeth because despite thinking I could make positive change in the company, they proved that I couldn’t, every step of the way. From 2013 until 2022, I did what I could to help my fellow employees, make positive change, and help the industry.”

BENGALURU: On a misty morning in January 2020, it suddenly hit avid backpacker Surya Teja Kollipara that he was living his dream life. At Kotagiri, a quaint village in the hills of Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu, he was managing a friend’s backpacking hostel called ‘The Door to Nirvana’. He was to be stationed there for six weeks. His work involved taking the in-house happiness officer, aka Djacko, the golden retriever, for a morning walk. The rest of the day was about managing the hostel and in the evenings, he ran across the tea gardens with Djacko. “At night, we used to watch movies in the home theatre.
Those were the best six weeks of my life and I wanted such days forever.” While he was figuring out how to get there, Covid changed work patterns. His company ShareChat, a social media app where he works as the strategy head in Bengaluru, announced work from home until further notice.
This July as Teja looks back, he realises that he has travelled 65,000 km on road, swam across 35+Nm and flown above 1525m above sea level in the last two years. Even during the lockdown, he managed to stay over four weeks in places such as Auroville, Leh, Amritsar and Goa. But how does he make the ‘workation’ (work plus vacation) work? It hasn’t been just travel and sightseeing for Teja.
Alongside his five-day remote working week, he has managed to do seven outdoor activities – surfing, kayaking, standup paddling, skiing, poi spinning, skating, scuba diving etc. Considering his workplace paid for his workstation set up and reimburses Wi-Fi costs, he could save up and use it for travel.
“I was lucky that even when I tested Covid positive in April 2020, I could spend three weeks in a picturesque village in Jim Corbett National Park, Uttarakhand,” says the 26-year-old traveller who documents his travel on @thegreatindianbackpacker on Instagram. He volunteered the entire December of 2020 at Mantra Surf School/ Ashram in Mulki, Karnataka, where he learned surfing, kayaking and standup paddling (SUP).
For skiing, he did a basic skiing course at the Indian Institute of Skiing & Mountaineering (IISM), Gulmarg, where he was a certified skier after clearing the exam. Similarly, in scuba diving, he gotten a Open Water Scuba Diver Certification (SSI) from a dive school in Andaman. “For skateboarding, I got luckier, I bought a skateboard, watched Youtube videos and started cruising. It was as simple as that,” he adds.

CFTC Action Shows Why Crypto Developers Should Get Ready To Leave The US Cointelegraph
CFTC Action Shows Why Crypto Developers Should Get Ready To Leave The US – Cointelegraph https://collincountynewsonline.com/cftc-action-shows-why-crypto-developers-should-get-ready-to-leave-the-us-cointelegraph/
Considerable anxiety exists in the world of Web3 related to regulation and the legal status of cryptocurrency projects. It’s particularly apparent in the United States, where the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) fueled concerns in September with an announcement that it was imposing a $250,000 fine on a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO), Ooki DAO, and its investors. The fine was particularly ominous, considering DAOs are intended to be “regulation proof.”
The CFTC said in its statement on the issue that Ooki DAO’s bZeroX protocol offered illegal off-exchange trading of digital assets. The agency took issue with the fact that the founders, Tom Bean and Kyle Kistner, tried to use the existing bZeroX protocol within the DAO to put it beyond the reach of regulators.
“By transferring control to a DAO, bZeroX’s founders touted to bZeroX community members the operations would be enforcement-proof,” the CFTC said. “The bZx Founders were wrong, however. DAOs are not immune from enforcement and may not violate the law with impunity.”
The fine is not all that surprising. The CFTC and other regulators are not going to abide by a veil of decentralization. But, there is something within the ruling that is extremely worrying to Web3 lawyers and developers. The agency’s complaint indicated that the voters within a given DAO could be distinctly liable.
In other words, no longer will only founders be targeted, as users who take part could also be liable. This is sure to have a chilling effect on turning people away from DAOs and Web3 in general. After all, the whole point is to avoid this kind of targeting and to create new ecosystems where all parties can vote in peace on issues that concern them.
Related: Biden’s cryptocurrency framework is a step in the right direction
And, it’s not a standalone case. The Securities and Exchange Commission is vying with the CFTC for authority over the world of Web3. Crypto libertarians would dispute whether centralized authorities should have a say at all in an ecosystem that they have only attacked and never aided.
The Stabenow-Boozman bill, a proposal in the U.S. Senate, would potentially give the CFTC direct oversight of tokens that qualify as digital commodities. This means that exchanges and online Web3 providers would potentially register with the CFTC, further enmeshing decentralized finance (DeFi) within a centralized web that it was engineered to escape.
Monitoring wallets, targeting smart contracts and more
The SEC has traditionally sought to regulate cryptocurrency as much as possible. The agency plays a useful role as it is able to pursue instances of outright fraud and Ponzi schemes, which are rampant in Web3. But, there is a stark difference between going after instances of fraud and regulating or governing the industry with regulations that are inapplicable.
There are too many question marks related to crypto regulation. One example is related to microtransactions and airdrops. Such transactions take place on many different exchanges over many years, with various price fluctuations. This is impossible to report on from a tax perspective, especially when many platforms are no longer operating. Along with rewards for staking and even derivative tokens liquid staking, it becomes almost impossible to account for.
The Biden administration is even targeting Proof-of-Work (POW) blockchains with new “comprehensive guidelines” issued in September. That’s at the same time many administration officials seem to be pushing for a digital USD.
Another extremely controversial, draconian crypto regulation that lawmakers have floated includes forcing receivers to verify the personal information of senders when transactions exceed $10,000. They are also seeking to regulate smart contracts as future contracts. And criminal charges are being introduced for those who develop mixers or privacy coins.
Though nobody has really said it, what we seem to be witnessing is a war on crypto cloaked in democratic language. The very pillars upon which distributed ledgers have been built are crumbling if these measures are enforced.
More conflict to follow?
The conflict between traditional regulators and modern finance seems to be reaching a melting point. Regulations are not adapting to meet the needs and strengths of modern DeFi. As such, there is now a standoff between new Web3 protocols and existing legislation. It is almost impossible to deal with the existing legal system as it is not flexible enough to account for DeFi.
Ooki DAO is indeed a bad omen for U.S. crypto developers. And it certainly won’t be the last one. A sleuth of bills and procedures are in place. Paradoxically, such actions are likely to simply encourage developers to create programs that are even more resistant to existing laws. The impossibility of complying with existing legislation can leave them with little other choices.
Related: Biden‘s anemic crypto framework offered nothing new
In one sense, it leaves U.S. crypto developers in the dark regarding what they should develop. From another angle, perhaps the path forward is quite clear. All protocols moving forward may have to be fully decentralized.
This was the premise of the very first cryptocurrency, Bitcoin (BTC). Without a central point of failure, there is nobody to target. Developers will have to work on building ecosystems that are completely separate with no ties to the legacy financial system.
Blockchains free of identity and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) requirements are the only possible option if developers want to continue operating on American shores. That’s something they are going to have to recognize sooner rather than later.

Freaky Director Slams Day-And-Date Releases: It Destroyed Us CBR Comic Book Resources
Freaky Director Slams Day-And-Date Releases: ‘It Destroyed Us’ – CBR – Comic Book Resources https://collincountynewsonline.com/freaky-director-slams-day-and-date-releases-it-destroyed-us-cbr-comic-book-resources/
Following the hybrid premiere of Halloween Ends, Freaky director Christopher Landon slams the day-and-date release model for movies.
Freaky director Christopher Landon slammed the day-and-date release model following the premiere of Halloween Ends.
“Studios: stop gambling with filmmakers and their movies to try and prop up your fledgling streaming services,” Landon wrote in a Twitter threat. “This happened to me on Freaky and it destroyed us. We worked SO HARD to make a fun movie. Blood sweat and tears. Months away from our families. And for what? They love to use the term: ‘two bites of the apple’ but that’s just another way of saying ‘we’re gonna use your movie as a Guinea pig’ for our streaming service.”
Landon went on to say that he “begged the studio” not to do a simultaneous release. “Either circle the wagons and protect it for theatrical or just go all in on streaming,” he said. “Don’t split hairs. At least the Halloween folks were made whole. We got hosed.” Both Freaky and Halloween Ends were distributed by Universal Pictures. Released in 2020, Freaky follows the killing spree of a serial killer known as The Butcher (Vince Vaughn) after he accidentally swaps bodies with a high school student Millie Kessler (Kathryn Newton). Freaky premiered in theaters on Nov. 13, 2020, and was released on VOD on Dec. 4, less than a month after its theatrical release.
As for Halloween Ends, it was announced in August that Halloween Ends would debut simultaneously in theaters and on Peacock, just like Halloween Kills in 2021. However, Halloween Ends opened to the weakest box office numbers of the entire Halloween sequel trilogy so far, earning $41.2 million across 3,901 theaters. Comparatively, 2018’s Halloween opened to a record-breaking $76.2 million, while Halloween Kills bowed at $50 million.
There has been an ongoing “streaming vs. theatrical release” debate since the start of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and Landon isn’t the only filmmaker to critique hybrid release strategies from studios. Wonder Woman 1984 director Patty Jenkins and Dune director Denis Villeneuve have both spoken out against this strategy, as both of their films were released simultaneously in theaters and on HBO Max. However, there are some on the side of streaming, including Freaky screenwriter Michael Kennedy.
“Do I wish FREAKY was released on 3000 screens at a time people could go safely? Yes,” he said in September 2021. “Am I also happy that people got to see it at home during a terrible surge and smile for 102 minutes? Big yes. And it’s finding new life on [HBO Max]. Streaming isn’t the enemy.”
Halloween Ends is now available in theaters and on Peacock.

Best Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups For Week 7 Sporting News
Best Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups For Week 7 – Sporting News https://collincountynewsonline.com/best-fantasy-football-waiver-wire-pickups-for-week-7-sporting-news/
Four fewer teams were in action this week, which could be part of the reason the top Week 7 fantasy waiver wire pickups and free agent adds are so lackluster. The other big reason? Only a handful of notable injuries to skill players. Regardless, ahead of a brutal week of byes, fantasy football owners aren’t going to find a lot of excitement on the wire — unless handcuff RBs like Kenyan Drake, Deon Jackson, and Caleb Huntley or boom-or-bust rookie WRs like Wan’Dale Robinson, Tyquan Thornton, and Alec Pierce get you excited.
Our full Week 7 free agent primer features more players in this vein (Tre’Quan Smith, Rondale Moore, Mike Boone, Robert Tonyan), but our list largely consists of potential QB, WR, TE, and D/ST streamers. Week 7’s depth-depleting set of byes (Rams, Eagles, Bills, Vikings) will force more than a few owners to dig deep for their starters, so we didn’t skimp on the suggestions. All streamer recommendations can be found at the end of the list.
Given the uncertainty surrounding Baltimore’s and Indy’s RB situations (see below), it doesn’t appear as if anyone is worth a high waiver claim this week. Chances are, Drake will fetch a decent claim/FAAB bid if JK Dobbins (knee) is expected to miss Week 7, but he’s the only one. Jackson (if healthy) and Huntley merit low claims — and the young WRs offer various levels of intrigue — but unless you’re in a deep league, you don’t need to bid too high on them.
That said, this should be a busy week on the free agent wire. Plenty of owners will be looking for streamers at QB, WR, TE, and D/ST. Unfortunately, there aren’t many high-ceiling TEs, but there are a host of similar QBs, WRs, and D/STs. You shouldn’t need to use a waiver claim to get someone worthwhile, so unless you’re desperate, be active in free agency and skip the waiver rush.
Top fantasy football waiver wire pickups for Week 7
Unless otherwise noted, only players owned in fewer than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues are considered.
1
Kenyan Drake, RB, Ravens
We’re hesitant to put Drake on this list because Gus Edwards (knee) and Justice Hill (hamstring) should both be back soon and presumably be ahead of him on the depth chart, but JK Dobbins was also ahead of him on the depth chart and played second fiddle to the well-traveled veteran in Week 6. Drake finished with 119 yards and a TD on just 10 carries, clearly outplaying Dobbins (15 yards on seven carries)), who reportedly aggravated his knee injury. This could be little more than a one-week fluke, but if Dobbins misses time and Drake can establish himself as a legit option in Baltimore’s run-heavy offense, then he’ll continue to have flex value. That’s especially true next week in a favorable matchup against Cleveland’s porous run defense.
2
Deon Jackson, RB, Colts
With Jonathan Taylor (ankle) and Nyheim Hines (concussion) once again out, Jackson led the way in the Colts’ backfield in Week 7. He totaled 121 yards on 22 touches (12 carries, 10 receptions) and generally looked like a solid, versatile back for the second-straight game. Hines figures to be back in Week 7 against the Titans, but Taylor might once again be out. If he is, it’s reasonable to expect Jackson, if healthy, to handle the bulk of the carries and get a decent amount of targets. He’s worth stashing just in case Taylor continues to miss time, but the quad injury that forced Jackson to exit early on Sunday will need to be monitored.
3
Caleb Huntley, RB, Falcons
Huntley operated the Falcons’ lead back most of Week 6, finishing with 59 yards on 16 carries. The average isn’t great, but if Huntley is going to continue to get the bulk of the Falcons’ carries over Tyler Allgeier (15 carries, 51 yards), who tacked on several touches late when Atlanta was trying to run out the clock, then he’ll have value as long as Cordarrelle Patterson (knee) is out. Consider Huntley a volume-based flex in a tough matchup next week against Cincinnati.
4
Rondale Moore, WR, Cardinals
Moore has seen a decent amount of targets when on the field this season (23 in three games), and even though those could decrease with the return of DeAndre Hopkins in Week 7, Moore still has big-play potential against a banged-up Saints defense that entered Week 6 allowing the ninth-most fantasy points to WRs before getting torched by Ja’Marr Chase and the Bengals. If Marquise Brown (ankle) is out, Moore is a virtual must-start.
5
Wan’Dale Robinson, WR, Giants
Playing in his first game since Week 1, Robinson (knee) made his presence felt, catching three-of-four targets for 37 yards and a TD. Given how banged-up and uninspiring New York’s receiving corps is, Robinson has a real chance to take over as the Giants’ No. 1 or 2 receiver. He has a below-average matchup next week against Jacksonville, but his versatile skill set gives him upside every week.
The rookie wide receiver has emerged as the Colts’ No. 2 after seeing an uptick in targets and offensive snaps over the past few weeks. He continued his hot play by catching three-of-seven targets for 49 yards and a TD against the Jaguars, and with a Week 7 matchup against a Titans defense allowing third-most fantasy points to WRs, the good times should keep rolling.
7
Tyquan Thornton, WR, Patriots
In just his second career game, Thornton made waves by catching four-of-five targets for 37 yards and a TD and adding another 16 yards and a score on three carries. The Pats have a bunch of similar receivers, so it’s tough to expect Thornton to be consistent, but the versatile, rookie speedster has big-play potential every week. You won’t start him next week against Chicago, but he’s worth stashing on deep-league rosters.
8
Tre’Quan Smith, WR, Saints
With Chris Olave (concussion), Michael Thomas (toe), and Jarvis Landry (ankle) all out, Smith stepped up as New Orleans’ leading receiver in Week 6, catching all three targets for 43 yards and a TD. It was his second game with over 10 fantasy points in New Orleans’ past four contests, and if either Olave or Thomas is out for Thursday night’s favorable matchup in Arizona, Smith has WR3 upside.
9
Mike Boone, RB, Broncos
There’s no doubt Melvin Gordon operated as the “lead back” for the Broncos in Week 5, as he played 56 percent of snaps and handled 18 touches (15 carries, three catches). Boone was still plenty involved, though, playing 41 percent of snaps and touching the ball 10 times (seven carries, three catches). Boone totaled 85 yards and averaged an impressive 5.4 yards per carry, which is in line with his career mark (5.6), so there’s still a lot of upside here. The big worry is Latavius Murray, who was inactive on Thursday after playing in London the previous Sunday with the Saints, will take some of Boone’s touches in the future. As of right now, though, Boone is a must-have in 12-league teams. He’s an injury (or fumble) away from starting, and he can be a flex with his current role.
10
Josh Reynolds, WR, Lions
Reynolds posted four-straight games with at least 12.8 PPR points leading up to Detroit’s bye, so despite a tough Week 7 matchup against Dallas, Reynolds should be on fantasy radars. A healthy DJ Chark (ankle) and D’Andre Swift (ankle) will eat into Reynolds’ opportunities, but he’s been the Lions’ No. 2 receiver so far this year.
Everyone below this point is a streamer recommendation for Week 7:
12
Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, 49ers
Garoppolo has a favorable matchup in Week 7 against a Kansas City defense that has struggled against the pass this season. Entering Week 6, the Chiefs were allowing the fourth-most fantasy points to QBs. With Josh Allen and Jalen Hurts on a bye week, Garoppolo is a solid streaming option with his plethora of weapons at the skill positions.
13
Jameis Winston, QB, Saints
if healthy, Winston (back) is another solid streaming option for Week 7. A matchup against the Cardinals, who entered Week 6 allowing the ninth-most fantasy points to QBs, can help him get on track assuming he has at least one of Chris Olave (concussion) or Michael Thomas (toe).
14
Davis Mills, QB, Texans
Mills is on the same tier as Pickett if you are looking for a streaming quarterback in Week 7. The second-year quarterback has been up and down this season but could bounce back off the bye against the Raiders. Entering into Week 6, the Raiders were allowing the most fantasy points QBs, so Mills has a solid floor and better-than-usual ceiling this week.
15
Kenny Pickett/Mitchell Trubisky, QB, Steelers
Whoever gets the start against Miami in Week 7 has value. Pickett (concussion) would be our preferred option against a Dolphins’ defense that entered Week 6 allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to QBs, but Trubisky showed last week (144 yards, TD in a half against Tampa) that he can provide decent stats, too. Normally, we would never suggest playing Trubisky against anyone, but given all the bye-week and injury issues at QB, you might have to dig deep in 12- or 14-team leagues.
16
Jacoby Brissett, QB, Browns
Brissett hasn’t put up earth-shattering numbers this season, but he’s been consistent under center. Brissett will be going up against the Ravens’ defense that entered Week 6 allowing the second-most fantasy points to QBs. We are not expecting Brissett to throw for 300 yards, but he should be able to put up 215-220 passing yards and a couple of touchdowns if you need a streamer in deeper leagues.
17
Cooper Rush, QB, Cowboys
Rush has been a solid streaming quarterback for the past few weeks and will look to continue that in Week 7 against the Lions if Dak Prescott (thumb) is still out. Entering into Week 6, the Lions were allowing the third-most fantasy points to QBs. If the Cowboys can give Rush time in the pocket, he should be able to deliver the ball to CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup, Ezekiel Elliott, and Tony Pollar...

Elizabeth Banks, the actress and partner in wine company Archer Roose, stars in a new ad for Archer Roose in which she mocks the metaverse.
In the ad, via Colossus, Banks puts on a pair of sunglasses and decides that she’s in the metaverse. “I do look skinnier,” Banks says, patting her stomach. She then runs into Marian Leitner-Waldman, who runs the company with her husband, David Waldman.
“What are you doing?” Leitner-Waldman asks.
“You look so real,” says Banks. “I’m in the metaverse.”
Leitner-Waldman then tells Banks she’s wearing her sunglasses.
Banks shushes Leitner-Waldman and gives her a “non-fungible token” (a vase) and Leitner-Waldman walks off.

2007 IPhone Sells For $53000 At Auction Gizmodo Australia
2007 IPhone Sells For $53,000 At Auction – Gizmodo Australia https://collincountynewsonline.com/2007-iphone-sells-for-53000-at-auction-gizmodo-australia/
In the market for a new iPhone? Unfortunately, you might have to settle for one of Apple’s 2022 models, after an auction house in California just let a 2007 iPhone go for a cool $US32,783 – around $53,000 in Aussie terms.
LGC Auctions was flogging an original 2007 iPhone that is still factory sealed. The box looks more like a Cards Against Humanity expansion pack than it does an iPhone box.
Bidding for the iPhone started at $US2,500 (~$4,000) and at about 10:15 AEDT on Monday, some sucker (yes, I’m jealous) had committed $US32,783 to the cause.
When it was first launched in 2007, the iPhone retailed for around $US600.
The auction lot description describes the phone as being “one of the most important and ubiquitous inventions of our lifetime” and while we definitely agree, a home deposit (almost) seems like ridiculous money to drop on a gadget that’s all-but a cool paperweight.
The 2007 iPhone auctioned off boasts a whopping 8GB of storage, a touchscreen, a 2MP camera (lol) and, get this, a web browser. Honestly this is a fantastic find and it’s great looking back at how much things have changed. For comparison, the iPhone 14 Pro Max has a 48MP camera and will come with 1TB of storage if you want to hand over $2,769.
This factory sealed, first-release iPhone is in exceptional condition. As per the pictures, and testimony from the auction house, the packaging is virtually flawless along the surface and edges, the factory seal is clean with correct seam details and tightness and labels on the reverse are correctly pristine beneath the seal.

“Collectors and investors would be hard-pressed to find a superior example. Relevance and rarity comprise a winning formula for this red hot collectible,” they wrote.
Here’s Steve Jobs announcing the iPhone back in 2007 if you’re after some more nostalgia.

Adidas and Urbanista now both make headphones that are solar powered
By Nick Dauk and Will Smale
Business reporters
If you are the type of person who is forever forgetting to charge your wireless headphones, help may finally be on hand.
It comes as the first commercially available solar-powered headphones are now on sale. The models, by Swedish firm Urbanista and German sports giant Adidas, both have solar panels built into their headbands.
In each case the flexible panels are made by another Swedish company, Exeger, which has spent the past decade working to make them light, thin and powerful enough to do the job.
Exeger’s boss Giovanni Fili says it is both a matter of convenience and, more importantly, doing the right thing environmentally.
“Charging – everyone hates it,” he says. “But every time you don’t charge [using mains electricity] it is a good thing for the world.
“The new generation of young adults expect to be offered tools to do good [for the environment], and that is what we are offering.”
Exeger’s solar panels are called Powerfoyle, and they are just 2mm thick. The technology is based around strips of titanium dioxide covered in a natural dye. In very simple terms, the dye absorbs photons from light, which are then converted into electrons.

While approximately only half as efficient as standard silicon-based solar panels of the same size, the titanium dioxide panels are, in addition to being significantly thinner, much cheaper and easier to produce.
The solar-powered headphones still have a built-in battery that can power up to 80 hours of playback time. It is this that the Powerfoyle strip charges. Mr Fili says that currently the tech can create one hour’s worth of power “from just 20 minutes of English or Swedish summer sunshine”.
Yet the panels can also create some power from artificial light, such as indoor lighting, so the idea is that the headphones are always charging unless it is the dead of night. And the headphones also still have a power socket if back-up power is required after heavy usage.
Mr Fili adds that solar panels are unlikely to be added to mobile phones any time soon, because so many of us keep our handset in a pocket, and therefore it doesn’t have access to light. Instead he envisages the panels being fitted to people’s clothing and bags, and phones to be charged from these.

Finnish company Planno is already making fabrics that have built-in solar panelling.
The firm is led by Elina Ilén, who is also a professor at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia’s Department of Textile and Paper Engineering, and a leading expert on wearable textile electronics.
Rather than producing clothing that can charge your mobile phone, the firm instead focuses on washable garments with built-in, solar-powered sensors. These can monitor various aspects of the wearer’s health, such as heart rate, temperature, posture, sleep quality and body fat levels.
“Although these solar cells do produce enough energy to power wearable devices, placing a solar cell behind a textile will never have the same efficiency of harvesting energy as a solar cell in direct sunlight,” says Ms Ilén.

“The textile’s thickness, density, structure, colour and finishing treatments will all have an impact on the amount of energy-harvesting potential.”
She adds: “Textile-based wearables are one of the best solutions for continuous health monitoring because product acceptability is easier to achieve. Patients are already wearing clothing, this technology can be hidden beneath the fabric to ensure comfort and discretion.”

At Loughborough University researchers are taking a different approach to power-generating fabrics. Instead of using solar cells, they are harvesting the static electricity created when a person moves, and turning that into useable power.
The technology is based around tiny power converters called triboelectric nanogenerators (tengs). These are made from fibres such as cotton, polyester and nylon, which are covered in a polymer coating that attracts static. These flexible, stretchable, washable tengs can then be woven or knitted into the fabric of items of clothing.
“Our group is investigating how we can use regular textile materials and textile fabrication techniques to produce efficient tengs for wearable applications,” says project leader Ishara Dharmasena.
“The aim is to produce energy-generating textiles like T-shirts, base layers and trousers which are very similar to our regular clothing, but capable of generating electricity or acting as sensors to measure body movements.”

Dr Dharmasena, a Royal Academy of Engineering research fellow and lecturer at Loughborough, adds that in the future tengs could be used in conjunction with solar panels to create hybrid power-generating clothing.
Denise Wilson, author of the book Wearable Solar Systems, hopes to see the market for solar-powered clothing expand greatly in the coming years.
“I think that we could benefit from more imagination when it comes to marketing wearable solar packs,” says Prof Wilson, from the University of Washington’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
New Tech Economy is a series exploring how technological innovation is set to shape the new emerging economic landscape.
“We have not yet taken advantage of what they can fully offer us in the global community.”
She adds that the biggest area for growth will likely be clothing that can charge mobile phones and other portable electronic devices. “For the average consumer, it may mean being able to charge on the go.”
But she adds that for such clothing to find widespread popularity, the solar panel systems will need to last at least one year without a significant loss of efficiency.

The Razer Edge Is An Android Tablet With A Gaming Chip – Screen Rant https://collincountynewsonline.com/the-razer-edge-is-an-android-tablet-with-a-gaming-chip-screen-rant/
The Razer Edge is the latest device from the popular gaming company, and while it calls it a gaming handheld, it is practically an Android tablet with a removable controller. A few years ago, Razer dabbled into the smartphone market with a few gaming smartphones following its acquisition of Nextbit, a tech startup. Its first phone, the Razer Phone, was the first smartphone to launch with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The name Razer Edge may sound familiar, and that is because Razer has announced a device with the same name in the past. The Razer Edge (and Edge Pro), released in 2013, was a 10-inch Windows gaming tablet with a removable controller and a dock with various ports. The device was powered by an Intel chipset with a starting price of $999.
The Razer Edge is a fusion of a touchscreen Android tablet and a pro version of the popular Razer Kishi V2 controller. Powered by an unnamed version of Android, it has Razer’s Nexus app as a sort of custom UI on top for that familiar gaming interface. The Razer Edge has flat edges and a slightly curved back that doesn’t appear to be glass, with six-speaker grilles. It also has buttons at the top and comes in black with matching controllers. Razer says the Edge is the first gaming handheld to support 144Hz Steam Link remote play. It is also optimized for NVIDIA GeForce Now and Xbox Cloud Gaming. Owners will also be able to stream games from their Xbox.
The Razer Edge Has A 5G Version
Razer’s new hardware packs some pretty impressive specs. The display is a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ (2400 × 1080) resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display has curved corners, and while the bezels are noticeable, they are not super thick, adding a considerable amount to the device’s overall footprint. The device also has a 288Hz touch sampling rate and Gorilla Glass protection. Powering the Razer Edge is the Snapdragon G3x Gen 1, a Qualcomm chipset announced in 2021 that is mainly designed for gaming devices.
For those who don’t remember, Qualcomm also showed off a handheld developer kit that was made in collaboration with Razer when the chip was unveiled. So it is not surprising that this is the chip inside Razer’s own device. The chipset is paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. There is also only one storage configuration — 128GB (UFS 3.1) — but there is a MicroSD card slot for up to 2TB of storage. Unsurprisingly, there are no cameras on the back of the device, but there is a 5MP 1080p camera in front.
There is a 5000mAh battery inside the device, and it charges via USB-C. While there is no headphone jack on the device, the controller has an audio jack. There are also two microphones, two-way speakers, and THX Spatial audio. The Razer Edge also has Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. A 5G version of the device will also be available, exclusively sold by Verizon, and work with its Ultra Wideband 5G network. This variant will have an eSIM and support for Sub-6GHz and mmWave 5G. The Razer Edge will start at $399.99 for the Wi-Fi edition. There will also be a Founders Edition priced at $499.99, which will come with the Razer Hammerhead True Wireless earbuds. The 5G version of the Razer Edge will launch later at an unknown price. Razer is already taking pre-orders and will start shipping in Jan. 2023.

NFL Scores: Week 6 Scores Results TV Info USA TODAY
NFL Scores: Week 6 Scores, Results, TV Info – USA TODAY https://collincountynewsonline.com/nfl-scores-week-6-scores-results-tv-info-usa-today/
Week 6 brings a new wrinkle to the NFL season. Four teams have a bye week, while others settle into a midseason routine.
On Thursday, the Washington Commanders held on for a 12-9 victory over the Chicago Bears. The Commanders earned their second win despite unaspiring play from their offense. Quarterback Carson Wentz threw for just 99 yards in the game.
Offense will not be a problem Sunday afternoon, when the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills renewed their rivalry. It is a rematch of their overtime thriller in the AFC Divisional round last season.
The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles also have a score to settle. NFC East supremacy will be on the line Sunday night. The weekend concludes with the Denver Broncos traveling to Los Angeles to play the Chargers.
BYE WEEK: Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, Las Vegas Raiders, Tennessee Titans
WEEK 6 PICKS: Cowboys-Eagles, Bills-Chiefs early season monster matchups
ROUNDTABLE: How many NFC East teams will make playoffs, and which is division’s best?
MORE: Is the Carolina Panthers job an attractive one? Answer is complex.
Here’s a rundown of all the Week 6 action around the NFL.
Washington Commanders 12, Chicago Bears 7
Briefly: The Commanders snapped a four-game losing streak Thursday night. Running back Brian Robinson made his first NFL start and delivered with 60 rushing yards and a touchdown. His fourth-quarter score was the lone bright spot for the Commanders’ offense. The Bears continued to struggle as receiver Darnell Mooney was stopped at the goal line in the final seconds.
One highlight to know: Bears receiver Dante Pettis hauled in a 40-yard touchdown late in the third quarter.
Next up: The Commanders host the Green Bay Packers in Week 7. The Bears will play the New England Patriots.
Atlanta Falcons 28, San Francisco 49ers 14
Briefly: Falcons quarterback Marcus Mariota completed 13 of 14 passes and threw two touchdowns, adding one on the ground. Meanwhile, 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo threw a pair of interceptions, and San Francisco’s offense struggled to do much of anything against Arthur Smith’s Atlanta defense.
One highlight to know: In the final play before halftime, Garoppolo threw an interception to Falcons defender Isaiah Oliver.
Next up: The Falcons travel to Cincinnati to face the Bengals. The 49ers host the Kansas City Chiefs.
New England Patriots 38, Cleveland Browns 15
Briefly: Third-string quarterback Bailey Zappe showed he’s plenty capable of leading the New England Patriots. The rookie went 24-of-34 for 309 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Rhamondre Stevenson added two more scores and 76 yards after a career day last week. For the Cleveland Browns, Jacoby Brissett was sacked four times, threw two interceptions and lost a fumble.
One highlight to know: Not only was it a good day for Zappe, but fellow rookie Tyquan Thornton got his first NFL touchdown reception in the third quarter. It was a two-yard score that put the Patriots up 17-6. In the fourth quarter, he had a 19-yard run for his second career touchdown.
Next up: The Patriots host the Chicago Bears on Monday night, while the Browns take a three-game losing streak to face the Baltimore Ravens.
New York Jets 27, Green Bay Packers 10
Briefly: The Jets rolled over the Packers in decisive fashion, rushing for a pair of touchdowns and quelling Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay offense all afternoon.
One highlight to know: New York blocked a kick with 5:43 left in the third quarter and Will Parks recovered and returned it for a touchdown.
Next up: The Jets travel to Denver to take on the Broncos. The Packers have a road game against the Washington Commanders.
Indianapolis Colts 34, Jacksonville Jaguars 27
Briefly: Colts quarterback Matt Ryan passed for nearly 400 yards in a shootout win over their AFC South rival Jacksonville Jaguars. Ryan threw for three touchdowns. Indianapolis receiver Michael Pittman Jr. hauled in 13 catches.
One highlight to know: Ryan found rookie receiver Alec Pierce for a go-ahead, 30-yard touchdown pass with 17 seconds left.
Next up: The Colts have a road game against the Tennessee Titans. The Jaguars host the New York Giants.
Minnesota Vikings 24, Miami Dolphins 16
Briefly: The Miami Dolphins kicked a field goal to get the first points of the day, but it was all Minnesota Vikings from there. The Dolphins’ quarterbacks continue to deal with injuries as third-stringer Skylar Thompson left the game in the second quarter. Teddy Bridgewater took his place after being cleared from concussion protocol Saturday. The Vikings had six sacks on the day while their quarterback, Kirk Cousins, went 20-of-30 for 175 yards and two touchdowns.
One highlight to know: Dalvin Cook had a 53-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, making it a two-score game. The day was a homecoming for Cook, who attended Miami Central High School.
Next up: The Vikings take their four-game win streak into a bye week, while the Dolphins host the Pittsburgh Steelers fresh off an upset win.
Cincinnati Bengals 30, New Orleans Saints 26
Briefly: Bengals accounted for four total touchdowns (three passing, one rushing) in a narrow win on the road in New Orleans. Cincinnati receiver Ja’Marr Chase caught seven passes and added a pair of touchdowns himself.
One highlight to know: Burrow and Chase connected on a 60-yard touchdown with 1:57 left in the fourth quarter to put the Bengals ahead for good.
Next up: The Bengals head home to host the Atlanta Falcons. The Saints travel to Arizona to face the Cardinals.
New York Giants 24, Baltimore Ravens 20
Briefly: The Giants moved to 5-1 on the season with a hard-fought victory over the Ravens. New York running back Saquon Barkley had 83 yards on the ground and a touchdown. Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was just 17 for 32 passing.
One highlight to know: Barkley plunged into the end zone from one yard out to give the Giants the lead with 1:43 to play.
Next up: The Giants travel to Jacksonville to face the Jaguars. The Ravens host the Cleveland Browns.
Pittsburgh Steelers 20, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 18
Briefly: Kenny Pickett threw his first career touchdown for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first quarter. But after he was shaken up with a big hit, Mitch Trubisky took the reins. With 4:38 on the clock, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers missed a two-point conversion that would have tied the game. The score, a pass from Tom Brady to Leonard Fournette, was the Bucs’ only touchdown of the day.
One highlight to know: Chase Claypool snagged a pass from Trubisky on 3rd-and-11 while tightroping the sidelines. The play continued the Steelers’ final drive and allowed them to finish the game in victory formation.
Next up: The Buccaneers seek to rebound when they travel to face the Carolina Panthers, and the Steelers look to secure their first back-to-back wins of the season when they take a trip to face the Miami Dolphins.
Los Angeles Rams 24, Carolina Panthers 10
Briefly: The Los Angeles Rams dominated the second half to give the Carolina Panthers their third straight loss. The Panthers offense failed to score in interim coach Steve Wilks’ first game at the helm. Donte Jackson scored the only touchdown for Carolina with a 30-yard pick six. Otherwise, Matthew Stafford went 26-of-33 for 253 yards and a touchdown and got two more scores from the Rams’ running backs for the win.
One highlight to know: Running back Ben Skowronek got his first career touchdown with a 17-yard run in the third quarter that put the Rams up for good.
Next up: The Rams go into their bye week and the Panthers host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, will also be hungry for a win after being upset by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR INTERIMS?: Carolina’s Steve Wilks latest Black coach thrust into challenging role
Seattle Seahawks 19, Arizona Cardinals 9
Briefly: There were 11 sacks and five fumbles between the two teams and there wasn’t an offensive touchdown until the fourth quarter, but the Seattle Seahawks hung on to beat the Arizona Cardinals in an NFC West matchup.
One highlight to know: Kyler Murray added 100 rushing yards to his 222 yards through the air, but an interception by Tariq Woolen with 3:59 left in the game turned out to be the last of the Cardinals’ gas in the tank.
Next up: The Cardinals have a quick turnaround as they host the New Orleans Saints on Thursday night while the Seahawks travel to face the San Diego Chargers.
Buffalo Bills 24, Kansas City Chiefs 20
Briefly: It was a one-score game throughout as the rivalry between the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs continues to grow. The Bills snagged this one after the Chiefs took the heartbreaker in the AFC Divisional game earlier this year. There was a flashback to that game as it took the Chiefs’ only 12 seconds to set up kicker Harrison Butker for a franchise-record 62-yard field goal to tie the game at the end of the first half. Josh Allen went 27-of-40 for 329 yards and three touchdowns. His friendly rival Patrick Mahomes went 25-of-40 for 338 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. Travis Kelce was held out of the end zone after grabbing four touchdowns in a Week 5 win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
One highlight to know: The Bills defense continues to be lockdown as Taron Johnson snagged Mahomes’ pass intended for rookie Skyy Moore with less than a minute left in the game, taking away all Kansas City’s hopes of another comeback.
Next up: The Bills take a three-game win streak and a 5-1 record into their bye week while the Chiefs march west to face the San Francisco 49ers.

Steve Harveys 15-Year Marriage May Be His Best Relationship Yet But It Almost Never Happened Goalcast
Steve Harvey’s 15-Year Marriage May Be His Best Relationship Yet – But It Almost Never Happened – Goalcast https://collincountynewsonline.com/steve-harveys-15-year-marriage-may-be-his-best-relationship-yet-but-it-almost-never-happened-goalcast/
It took a long time for Steve Harvey, but he managed to have a marriage that is ideal to him, and yet, its existence is in itself a miracle.
The expected celebrity lifestyle is not all fun and games, as the relationship troubles of several famous people, such as Steve Harvey, indicate. The pressure of fame, in addition to the accumulated wealth it usually carries, usually means successful people attract a lot of peers, both on a platonic and romantic level.
As a result, it creates the infamous relationship problems found in Hollywood and other spheres of entertainment and celebrity culture. Even with the reputation they acquired overtime, plenty of celebrities to maintain a stable relationship even decades after getting married. Steve Harvey is one of those famed ‘exceptions’ regarding the reputation of the Hollywoodian dating scene.
Steve Harvey is known for many things. His claim to fame is his role as the host of the game show Family Feud and its spinoff Celebrity Family Feud. He also hosts his own radio show, The Steve Harvey Morning Show and the similarly named sitcom The Steve Harvey Show. He is the current host of the Miss Universe competition. Even with all of the aforementioned professional success, the part of Harvey’s life that he is most fond of is probably his miraculous marriage with Marjorie Bridges. The story of how they met and reunited decades later can be described as one of a kind.
Steve Harvey’s Romantic History
Steve Harvey’s marriage to Marjorie Bridges is the longest marriage he has ever had, currently outpacing his first marriage by a couple of years. Indeed, Bridges is not Harvey’s first spouse. He has a lengthy marital history that began over four decades ago. In 1981, Harvey married Marcia Harvey, with whom he had three children. The oldest Harvey kids are twin sisters Brandi and Karli, as well as a son, Broderick Junior (“Broderick” is Steve Harvey’s actual given name, with “Steve” being short for his middle name, “Stephen”). The couple divorced in 1994, after thirteen years of marriage.
RELATED: Jon Hamm Reveals Why He Changed His Mind About Marriage At 50
Two years after the end of his marriage with Marcia, Steve Harvey married Mary Shackelford. From this marriage, Harvey has another son named Wynton. In November 2005, after nearly a decade of marriage, Harvey and Shackelford divorced, albeit not without a few hassles along the way. Shackelford accused Harvey of leaving her homeless, but in 2011, her claims were dismissed. Judge Robert Day of Collin County, Texas, suggested that Shackelford was not materially destitute. He was also worried about false information about Harvey and Shackelford’s divorce that the latter was apparently spreading.
Less than two years later, Harvey would marry Marjorie after a surprise reunion with her. Compared to the apparently rough divorce that terminated his marriage with Shackelford, this seems to be had been a breath of fresh air for Harvey, indeed. He credits Bridges for changing his life, all for the better since he also claims she made him a “better man.” The couple do not have biological children together, but Steve adopted Marjorie’s own children from a previous marriage, Morgan, Jason, and Lori, after they were married. As of now, they also happen to have grandchildren.
How Steve Harvey and Marjorie Bridges Reconnected
The same year Steve Harvey and Mary Shackelford divorced, the famous game show host reunited with Marjorie Bridges by complete chance. The two reconnected through mutual friends, and after almost 20 years apart, they began dating soon after meeting each other again. The whole situation is poetic. According to his own account, Harvey even told her “I don’t know who you are, but I’m going to marry you one day.” It took over 15 years and he had to go through two more marriages before he could stay true to his words, but in the long run, Harvey proved himself right.
When they finally started dating and moved in together, Harvey and Marjorie brought all their kids with them. This decision led to their family becoming a blended one, much to the dismay of their offspring. Thankfully, with Marjorie’s ability to adapt to different scenarios and dedication to making everyone feel included, the blended family was a successful endeavor.
The bond between Harvey and Marjorie, in addition to their relationship with their children, only strengthened. It remained that way throughout their marriage, with the connection between the two spouses being strong enough that the Family Feud host wrote Marjorie a letter detailing his feelings for her and why she changed his life for the best.
What Steve and Marjorie’s Marriage Tells Us
In general, Steve Harvey’s romantic history shows that patience is key when it comes to relationships. He is at his third marriage right now, but it is without a doubt his most loving and successful one. Indeed, his letter claims that Marjorie “gave [him] peace” and that “receiving this gift freed [him] up to think and really do this job.” From his comments about her predicting his career to him saying that she taught him “how to keep moving”, it is clear that Harvey has been at his happiest for the past 15 years.
RELATED: How Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Prove Working Together Can Make a Successful Marriage – Even After 26-Years
No one knows the details of Steve Harvey’s past relationships like he does for obvious reasons. However, it is easy to see that his past marriages came to an end due to personal failings on both his and his ex-wives’ parts. It is possible that he was simply unprepared for such a commitment, or that his personality was incompatible with his former spouses’ character in the long run. Regardless of what the reason was, Harvey married at a time that was expected for someone his age, but still had to grow before settling for one final time.
Sometimes, what someone needs to make a family life work is not necessarily a “perfect” partner, although that helps in more ways than one. What they need is to learn what they want and how they could achieve said desires in a way that is compatible with their personality. Between his first meeting with Marjorie and the big day that had them tie the knots, Steve Harvey had a lot of time to grow, develop his career, mature, and learn more about himself. By the time he married for the third time, he was more attentive, confident, and optimistic than ever before.

Cardano Price Forecast Heres Why ADA Can Reach $5 In 2023 Cryptonews
Cardano Price Forecast – Here’s Why ADA Can Reach $5 In 2023 – Cryptonews https://collincountynewsonline.com/cardano-price-forecast-heres-why-ada-can-reach-5-in-2023-cryptonews/
Cardano’s price has dropped by more than 70% since the beginning of the year 2022, and it now trades at $0.36. But has it reached oversold territory, and can we expect the Cardano price forecast to be bullish and reach $5 in 2023? Let’s find out!
Cardano Price & Tokenomics
Cardano’s current price is $0.36, with a 24-hour trading volume of $300 million. Cardano has fallen by 0.05% in the last 24 hours. CoinMarketCap currently ranks #8 with a live market cap of $12 billion.

There are 34,288,481,618 ADA coins in circulation, with a maximum supply of 45,000,000,000 ADA coins.
Cardano Community Makes a Prediction
The Cardano network is unwavering in its belief that the network’s “greatest days” are yet to come. A Cardano-centric Twitter account, ADA whale, has made a startling forecast about what may occur on the network if the market crash ends.
It has been predicted by the ADA whale that Cardano will host the greatest DeFi trading platform during the next bull run. He also predicts that Cardano will host the fastest-growing mobile network and the largest DID project, as well as the largest book NFT platform supported by major publishing houses.
According to him, Cardano has survived “bulls and bears” scenarios, which is why he can make such predictions with such certainty.
According to data shown in a new infographic by Cardano Daily, the cryptocurrency has been able to keep its spot among the top 10 by market cap for the last seven consecutive quarters. This is a feat regardless of whether the market is booming in 2021 or tanking in 2022.
Cardano Ecosystem to Support ADA Price
The development of the Cardano ecosystem is one factor contributing to the optimism of fervent ADA investors.
Cardano’s commercial and venture capital arm EMURGO has recently established a $200 million fund to incentivize enterprises built on the network, despite the bad market.
The EMURGO Africa initiative will get around $100 million from this money. Cardano is currently planning for its next big roadmap milestone, the Voltaire era.
Charles Hoskinson, the creator of the company Input Output Global (IOG), predicted that the update will establish the blockchain as an early leader in decentralized administration.
“The Age of Voltaire will soon be upon us as an ecosystem. It’s going to unlock the power of the millions of Cardano users and builders. It will again show the rest of the industry how to do decentralized governance just like we did with staking,”
As such positive developments and remarks typically support the coin price, the ADA price may improve in 2023.
Cardano Price Forecast – Here’s Why ADA Can Reach $5 in 2023
The ADA/USD pair is trading sharply bearish this week, continuing its weekly bearish streak for the third week. ADA dropped over 14% last month to trade at $0.37.
On the daily timeframe, ADA has broken out of a descending triangle pattern that was holding it up near $0.40, but this level is now acting as a major resistance. A bearish breakout of a triangle pattern typically results in sharp selling and the continuation of a downward trend.
On the downside, ADA’s immediate support is still near $0.35, and a bearish breakout of this level could push the price of ADA even lower, possibly toward $0.30.
Leading indicators such as MACD and RSI, as well as the 50-day moving average, are all in favor of a sell bias. The technical indicators do not support long-term bullish trends; however, the fundamental side indicates a future bullish trend. As a result, ADA could reach $5 by 2023.
New Crypto Presales
Cardano price predictions suggest a slow bullish recovery, and that’s also in the year 203, so traders hoping for a quick profit may be disappointed.
Presales and new altcoins are one area where more speculative traders can quickly make a large profit, even in a bearish crypto market.
We’ve been keeping an eye on the IMPT token presale, a new cryptocurrency that recently raised over $4.9 million.
