Customers across Canada began reporting outages around 3 p.m., with nearly 14,000 reports around 3:30 p.m., according to Downdetector.
Customers in the comments shared they were experiencing outages in provinces across the country from British Columbia to Newfoundland and Labrador.
Although Starlink has yet to confirm if the outage is global, people in countries such as the U.S., U.K., Germany, Australia and more have reported outages.
Starlink confirmed Thursday night that the network issues causing the outage have been resolved and that service has been restored. They did not specify what caused the outage.

Elon Musk denies "false" reports Starlink sold to Russia
Ukraine relies on Starlink, operated by Musk's SpaceX, to carry out crucial missions against Russian forces.
"To the best of our knowledge, no Starlinks have been sold directly or indirectly to Russia," Musk said.
Reports published last week had said that Russian soldiers operating in Ukraine were using Starlink for operations against Kyiv. SpaceX said it did not operate in Russia or work with Russian authorities.
On Sunday, Ukraine's military intelligence agency said it had evidence that Russia was using Starlink to access the internet in Moscow-held areas of the country.
"There have been recorded cases of the use of these devices by the Russian occupiers," Andriy Yusov, a spokesperson for Kyiv's GUR, told Ukrainian outlet RBC in an article published on Saturday. "This is starting to take on a systemic nature," Yusov told the outlet.

"Starlink is not active in Russia, meaning service will not work in that country," the company said in a statement.
