The reddit post where I first discovered BodyState. For a year or so this remained a really useful and focused app that did what I needed. As of November 2025 it's been sold to a company who are starting to ruin it already.
Such a shame.
Interesting application for quick note taking, one that focuses on making novel use of the iPhone's Dynamic Island.
I'm not quite sure I'd really make much use of this, but I'm bookmarking it as something to come back to in the future.
Interesting and useful-looking personal database app for iOS and macOS. I haven't really needed a database app like this for a long time, but it's worth keeping a note of this should it became a requirement.
It looks good enough that I almost want to try and find a reason to use it.
Having finally switched to using pure-Apple-ecosystem for sleep tracking, I was curious why I wasn't getting any sort of "time in bed" value recorded (as opposed to time asleep). The previous (iOS-based) tracking app did it just fine.
Turns out it used to be an option that was set on the phone, and iOS 18 seems to have taken it away, but still reports it (as nothing recorded).
Weird.
