It's such a common trope that if you take vitamins, you'll be far less likely to catch colds, etc. Far too many folk seem ready to hand out this advice, but never cite their sources for this "fact".

Pretty clever webapp that shows a map and simulates what the shadows in that location would look like at a given date and time.
I'm not convinced it's 100% accurate -- I've tested it for where I live and it's showing me shadow where there wouldn't be any -- but it's close enough that I could see it actually being useful.
