I've been thinking recently about AI/LLM-created PRs on GitHub. I've only received a couple, and they've not been great. This has got me wondering if I should entertain them at all from both a software development point of view, and also an ethical point of view.

Recently I had a need to finally use a VPN (no, not for that reason -- it was the opposite; I wasn't in the UK and needed to appear to be) and so gave Proton a spin. When using it I noticed that while the Reddit app worked, sometimes, it wouldn't update stories for hours.

Seems this isn't uncommon.
