The FAA monitors and analyzes the impact of civil aviation on the U.S. economy and individual U.S. States. The below visualization depicts civil aviation’s contribution to the U.S. economy. These estimates incorporate data from the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Department of Transportation, the National Science Foundation, and other private sources for the years 2017–2022.
