Apple Finally Gave Us More Shortcut Actions for Books
Apple Finally Gave Us More Shortcut Actions for Books
When iOS 16.0 was still in early beta testing, Apple teased us with a slew of new Books actions in the Shortcuts app, but none of them materialized in iOS 16.0 or 16.1. That changes with Apple's latest software update for iPhone. The only Apple Books action in Shortcuts you'll see on iOS 16.1 and earlier, except for any personal Siri Suggestions that are based on how you use your device, is:

Spring for Twitter - my new favorite Twitter client | AppleVis
Wasn't sure where to post this, as it has both an iOS, iPadOS, and macOS version. Decided on here, but let me know if that was a bad choice. That's the same reason I didn't make an app entry for it yet. Was browsing the App Store a few days ago, and happened to come across Spring for Twitter. It's a truly premium Twitter client for the Mac, iPhone, and iPad. The full version costs $9.99, and the light version (for iPhone only) costs $3.99. This may seem a bit pricy, Until you discover some of what it offers.

macOS Ventura: The MacStories Review
macOS Ventura is a hard release to pin down. I’ve been running it for months, and it’s been running well for all my everyday work and personal tasks. Features like Continuity Camera, iCloud Shared Photo Library, and the many system app updates have, on the whole, been stable, worked as advertised, and helped me do

The headlining feature of iOS 16.1 is Live Activities, which allows apps to display status information in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen after a user closes an app. I’ve looked at over 40 new and updated apps and instead of just listing them, I thought I’d share a collection of the most

Need it take 7,500 people to run Twitter?
When WhatsApp was sold to Facebook in 2014, it had almost half a billion monthly users, but a team of just 50 people running everything. Compare this to Twitter, which today has a staff of 7,500 to manage half the number of users. Yet Musk is the crazy one here for suggesting that maybe Twitter could operate with a mere TWO THOUSAND em...
