[INTO THE FOLD EPISODE 12 - SURFACE DUO 2 REVIEW RE-DO]
Just last week on this channel we were exploring what it means to blur the line between smartphone and computer … but I guess the reality is that I’ve been thinking about it since about 2007, when I realized during an otherwise uneventful walk around my college town that I could post a new LiveJournal entry (yep, I was one of those guys) right from my pocket instead of going home for my computer.
This week, instead of replacing a PC with a smartphone, we’re talking about bringing a PC feature to the smartphone: the idea of a second screen. The subject of today’s episode of Into The Fold is the Surface Duo 2 from Microsoft, and yes, you’ve seen it before on this channel – but it’s not the phone you remember.

For the few short years that foldable phones have existed, we’ve basically been given two weapons of choice: the full-format folding book, or the clamshell-style flip phone. Huawei or Motorola; Xiaomi or TCL; Samsung ... or Samsung. As Mr. Slim says: you can blow with this, or you can blow with that.
Well, it was only a matter of time before someone came along with the best of both worlds: a foldable that would deliver the utility of the tablet … inside the compact footprint of the clamshell. I’m Michael Fisher; join me for your first look at Oppo’s first foldable, the Oppo Find N!

[SONY XPERIA PRO-I ROAD TRIP REVIEW]
It was Battlestar Galactica which taught us that “All of this has happened before, and all of it will happen again.” Each year, tech megaliths like Qualcomm host huge press events in a tropical paradise. Each year, tech tastemakers flee their frozen local wintertimes to attend them. And each year, Sony builds a cameraphone that seems like the perfect tool to capture those adventures.
Even without its optional tripod accessory and magnetic monitor, the Sony Xperia Pro-I (“I” for “imaging”) leaves no doubt about the kind of customer it’s built for. It’s a phone for vloggers; for travelers who’d prefer not to carry a full-size camera. In other words, it’s a phone for me. I’m Michael Fisher; join me for a week in Hawaii as I put the newest vlogging-centric smartphone to the test, in MrMobile’s Sony Xperia Pro-I Road Trip Review!

iPhone 13 Pro vs Pixel 6 Pro: 2000 Photos Later | Full Frame Ep. 5
When the iPhone 13 Pro launched earlier this fall, we said it had the “best camera” in a smartphone. But a few weeks later, Google’s Pixel 6 Pro, with its 50-megapixel sensor that is hard-coded to produce 12.5-megapixel images, was finally released, proving a worthy competitor for the iPhone 13 Pro’s 12-megapixel camera. To settle the score I took 1,000 photos with each device and realized using these cameras was about far more than their end products.
